Prius (Gen 4) :: Fuel Filler Door Won't Close - Refill Ready Displaying On Dash Screen
So maybe it is just my incompetence on this.... however, I was putting my second tank of gas in the 2016 and the Fuel Filler door will not shut...
Not only that but since the door will not shut, on my dash screen it keeps saying "Refill Ready" every 5-10 seconds.

I have a '12 SCAB that when opening the driver door the weatherstrip on the door near the front fender, which seals against the pillar squeaks each time you open and close it. Makes the truck sound 20 years old. It appears the weatherstrip is binding on itself instead of just slipping past. I understand it gets dirty and cleaning it will work, but only for a day or so. I've checked the orientation of the weatherstrip with new trucks and its in the correct position.

New MY2013 SE w/Appearance Package purchased Oct. 2012. Earlier this year the fuel filler door would sometimes stick closed; progressively got worse to where it would not open. Replaced under warranty.
Now starting to stick again and I expect it to worsen. Going back in this week for a warranty replacement fuel filler door.
Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: Fuel Door Broken?
My fuel door took a dump last week and won't stay closed now. The truck is out of warranty, so I'll have to try to fix it myself, but I don't really know how to get to the broken part. Looking at it from underneath, it appears to have some kind of a spring set up, but I'm not sure how to remove it and then if I have to replace the whole housing, how does the actual door detach?

On a roadtrip, went to fuel up and when I was done... the fuel door would not pull itself closed. I pushed on it, whatever spring or band was there pulling it closed is no longer functioning. 37500 miles on an '09. This really bothers me because of the no fuel cap design. Will have to take it to the dealer when I get home and find out what's the solution.

Cold here today accidentally opened up this am trying to close as a whistle was coming from it. Now it wont go down..motors are working can here them..it pulls on glass to come down but it stops an wont budge it downward..does not sound like any stripped gears as was frozen this am...
I am gonna have to take to dealer.......sun out and warming it up as its 30-34 here... but does not look like any ice stuck in it. Make some noise opening this am but again does not appear any gears are stripped or anything as Id hear them..
No pushing or fiddling works. Its in the VENT position. Glass up vs retracted into headliner.

the fuel door on my 02 Camry LE won't close. I'm guessing that there's a bar missing from where the hole is on the right side of the fuel cap. Can this problem can be fixed by myself (I have some mechanical knowledge, which I reckon I won't need for this)? If so, what are the parts I need to get?

I recently purchased a used 1999 F250 Super Duty with about 150k miles on it. The truck runs great and I have no complaints but there are a few things that need to be taken care of. It looks like there is a very small fuel leak where the filler neck ties into the rubber hose that runs into the fuel tank. There is a thin film of diesel along the side of the tank, on the leaf spring, the air bag and various other places. Nothing is dripping. I want to drop the tank and replace the hose. The Haynes manual says to depressurize the whole fuel system--is this really necessary if I don't plan on doing anything to the system aside from dropping the tank?

So the other morning I drive the 140 miles out of town to work for the week. when I pull up to the job site the cooling fans were revving really really high! never heard this before. then it went back to normal after I opened the gate and parked my truck and shut it off. I'm driving maybe 5 miles tops to the job and back to the motel every day. however that is far enough that my heater should be warming up and it's not even coming close to warm. it blows cold air. and to compound that I'm not sure the cooling fans are even working. they don't appear to be. Is there a connection here?

Ford F-150 - 1997-2003 :: Fuel Filler Neck Rusted?
The fuel filler neck on my truck is very rusted. I'm very concerned because if it gets a hole in it I think I wouldn't be able to put gas in the tank. It's completely exposed to anything that the tire throws at it. Is there any way to protect it?

After my accident this summer with the Ex and TT, I have a fuel leak. It appears to be coming from the hoses between the filler neck and tank.
The part # from Ford for the neck and hoses is YC3Z-9034-AA. This part is no longer available! Even NAPA the go to place and pay thru the nose for shows it as obsolete from their vendor.
I am seeing RED at this since I had zero leaks until the body shop dropped the tank to replace the hitch. The BS and INS co told me prove it was not a dry rotted house and they would pay for it. What to do for the hoses?
Ford Excursion :: 2000 - Leak At Fuel Filler Pipe
Just drove home a 2000 Limited from a used car dealer in NH to MA. Half way home, I stopped to gas up and noticed I was losing a small amount of fuel while pumping. It appears to be leaking from the filler pipe just before the tank, but there was too much splatter to tell for sure. No leak when not pumping, but the tank was only half full.
The dealer "guarantees" that the truck will pass MA state inspection. I'm sure a rusted out filler hose would result in a failure. The "guarantee" really means that he will buy the truck back should it fail, which is not really doing me any good b/c I'll have to start looking for a new truck all over again.
I'm unable to find a part # or pic of a filler neck for the Excursion. Is it the same as other Super Duty necks? Is this thing welded to the tank? That sounds like an involved, difficult fix.

From almost one month I am a proud owner of Vw Phaeton 3.2 V6 4 Motion BKL. The problem that I have is related with electronic unlocking of fuel filler lid. It does not open from the button on driver's door and I open it manually by pulling one red piece of rope.

Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: Two Pulls To Open The Door?
If I use my remote to unlock my 2013 F150 FX4 it takes two pulls on the door handle to open the door. The first pull doesn't do anything I can notice, then the second one opens the door. Is that the way it's supposed to work?
