Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: Way To Break Eco-Boost?
Take delivery of my new F-150 tomorrow. Was wondering if there is any particular way to break these motors in.

I replaced a water pump on a customers 2013 5.0L truck this week. The bearing was totally shot and lost all the coolant. Truck only had 46000 miles on it, is this common?

Plan on changing my water pump in the next day or two. Truck is a 2000 Ranger, 2.5L with 185,000+ miles. Just wondering if there are any hints/gotcha's that may not be in the manual.

Ford 7.3L Power Stroke (1999-2003) :: 2001 F250 - No Start After Changing Water Pump
I have a 2001 F250 Super Duty V8 7.3 L. I removed the water-pump then waited five days for the oring for the new pump. I installed it and now the truck will not start. I have drained the fuel water separator and replaced the filter. On the passengers side through the kick panel I found that button popped out so I pushed it back in and still it will not run. It acts like its not getting fuel but if my fuel water separator is filing up I'm assuming mu fuel pump is working??

Are we supposed to put anti sieze on the turbo to pedestal bolts. They were really hard to break loose when I pulled it Cheater bar tight. 18 ft. lbs sound right ?

I recently purchased my 2011 F150, which is the first new vehicle I've ever owned. I have always changed my own oil, and if possible I would like to continue doing this myself. My only concern is any potential warranty claims down the road.
If I change my own oil can Ford blame any drivetrain failures on me? What should I do to maintain records of my own maintenance to prove I've changed the oil regularly?
I am aware that I must use synthetic oil and a Motorcraft filter.

How much my mileage will suffer if I go with a 3:73 rearend instead of a 3:55 ? Towing and not towing ? Truck will be 2012 F150 4X4.

My new to me 2010 f150 4x4 superCrew Lariat is great. Got the 6spd tranny. Do a lot of maint. Myself and wanting to change tranny fluid since I hit 90k. Didn't see a dipstick. Called the stealership and they told me I can't do the change n/c I need certain equipment.
Are there any write ups? Are there any more surprises with this truck, like routine maint issues that I need to be aware of? I plan on doing diff fluid changes. Is this possible?

While driving home I noticed that the leather on the steering wheel was loose and wrinkled around the lower right spoke of the steering wheel. While driving down the highway yesterday at about 65mph I went to change lanes. As I was changing lanes I gave it a little gas. About half way through the lane change truck jerked like I had just been rear ended. I immediately checked my mirrors to see if I changed lanes in front of some body. No one was around. Truck still ran the same. Everything I'be read seems like similar thing happen to others at slower speed.
Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: Water In 3rd Brake Light?
I washed my truck for the first time tonight, and while doing so, I noticed what looks like water got into the third brake light on top of the cab. Is that a common issue and is there an easy fix? I've seen foam inside at the very bottom of the light fixture, it kind of looks like there are two housings though, with the foam in between. I checked the inside headliner, and everything there is dry.
