Prius (2004-09) :: Rear Window Defogger Stopped Working - Fuse Location?
My rear window defogger has stopped working. The owners manual, page 316, has the 3 fuse box locations and it says there is a 40 amp fuse in location #2 in fuse box under dash (says there is a 30 amp in location #1 for power windows). When I popped the cover off the fuse box and looked - there are NO fuses greater that 25 amps anywhere. Windows work fine. in addition - none of the actual fuse numbers line up with what the manual says or with what the inside of the fuse box cover says.

View 2 RepliesPrius (2004-09) :: Rear Window Defroster Fuse Location?
I'm trying to find the fuse for my rear window defroster. The manual doesn't show it. The fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side doesn't have it marked and the local dealer can't tell me where it is either. They want me to bring it in, of course! Exactly where this fuse is located?
View 3 RepliesFord Excursion :: Horn Isn't Working - Relay Location?
My horn isn't working. The under-dash fuse is OK and was going to check the horn relay, but can't figure out which one it is despite numerous FTE and Google searches. I pulled the cover on 2 power distribution boxes under the hood, driver's side. One box has 2 relays. The other has 4. Which one controls the horn?
Then...how do I test it to see if it's good/bad?
Ford Excursion :: 2000 V10 - Fuse 19 Keep Blowing - All Gauges And Speedometer Die?
I have a 2000 Excursion V10, I keep blowing the #19 10A miniature fuse while I am going down the road. All gauges and speedometer all of sudden die but the vehicle keeps running until I turn it off. When I try to restart she won't fire until I put a new fuse in.
View 14 RepliesFord Excursion :: 2000 Truck Would Not Shift - Fuse Blown
About three weeks ago driving. My truck would not shift come to find out it was a fuse that blew. Well I pull over and replace the fuse it starts right up I get about a mile from my house and it blows again so I shut off my x and then replaced the fuse. Will not start...
Now I am getting a Pats code 1:6 and my obd2 reader says no link on my x. It used to read it all the time. I am trying to figure out what I can check to fix this problem are there any relays. Oh also my check engine light does not come on when I turn the key but my truck does crank. does this mean there is no power to my ECU. I did replace my ecu and it did not solve the issue.

View 5 RepliesFord Excursion :: 2000 - Clicking Noise Coming From Fuse Panel
Well I went to go to home depot and the key turned and my theft light started blinking and I hear a clicking noise coming from my fuse panel. By the way this is on a 2000 7.3l 4x4 limited. I found what was clicking (see picture) it is the second relay down, the one with the chipped plastic. My question is is this a relay I can replace or is it part of the fuse box? Where I can get a replacement? This is my daily driver so I need to fix this ASAP.

View 8 RepliesFord Excursion :: 2000 - Starter Motor Fuse Keep Blowing After Radio Install
So i bought an excursion 3 or 4 days ago and yesterday I went to install a double din dvd receiver. As I was installing something shorted out and I blew the radio fuse. No big deal or so I thought. Got the radio in and replaced the fuse but then the X wouldn't start. Went through everything and found a 5 amp fuse and a 15 amp fuse blown as well. Turns out the 15 amp fuse is for starter motor or something. Well I replaced the fuses and they kept blowing. Unhooked the radio completely and still keep blowing and the X is still obviously not starting. Pulled every relay I could in hopes something would reset and nothing. Any clue what it could be at this point?

View 3 RepliesFord Excursion :: 2000 - High Beams Not Working
Low beams work fine. When I push the Multi-Function lever on the column forward to activate the high beams, I have no lights at all. When it is in low beam (middle) position, low beams work fine. When I pull back for click to pass, only the low beams are active. No high beam indicator in instrument cluster. I have:
1. Replaced both headlight bulbs
2. Replaced the multi-function switch on the column. Checked test pins on switch (MF) they are hot when in either high beam position or click to pass position
3. checked fuses (interior)
#8 - power on both sides of fuse
#16 (15a) High beam headlamps, instrument cluster. ***NO POWER ON EITHER SIDE***
4. checked fuses (engine compartment)

#21 - Power on both sides

Ford Excursion :: 2000 - Liftgate Lock Not Working
Just bought a 2000 Excursion PSD 4X4 last week. So far, I have really enjoyed it. There is just something special about these beasts.
I have had trouble with the liftgate lock not working. I tore into the liftgate and found that the actuator works just fine...the lock mechanism is just a little stubborn. I have soaked it liberally with wd-40. There is a lot of dirt road dust in the liftgate body.
