Camry 2012+ :: Samsung S3 Phone Contact Sync
Ok, so I got the car, and had been trying to sync my phone contact (samsung s3) since the first day, everytime i try to sync, they would only upload one contact and that is my phone number. I have been reading around and tried almost everything, turn phone off, restart etc.
The reason for it is, I save my phone contact to sim card and not on the phone itself, so I believed the car only sync with the phone and not the sim, so try to move your contact to the phone and let it sync.
Camry 2012+ :: Contact Coming From Below Front Portion Of Car While Going Over Speed Bump
I have a 2014 Camry. I went over a speed bump at around 30 MPH, and as the front wheels went up to the top of the speed bump, I heard a definite sound of hard contact coming from below the front portion of the car, possibly near the right wheel. The sound wasn't loud, and it wasn't followed by any other sound. It was just "bump."
The car seemed fine after, and I drove for another five miles or so noticing anything different. I looked under the car, and I didn't see any signs of damage. There was some water condensation dripping down, but I think that's just because I had been using the AC. Do you think I have any reason to worry? What signs should I be on the lookout for?
FYI, the speed bump was one of those wide ones with a gentle curve. It looked like a slight, gradual elevation in the road, and the paint had washed off. So I didn't see it. It wasn't a narrow speed bump that you have to slow down to 10 MPH for.
Camry 2012+ :: License Plate Creates Contact With The Rear When Slam Truck
I know this might not seem important but everytime I slam my trunk the license plate is making contact with the rear so it makes that rattle noise everytime I close it. It's annoying because sometimes I just want to close my trunk without being noticed. Toyota should've made two more holes at the bottom of the plate so this wouldn't happen.

I have a 1998 Ford F150, Manual transmission. It has set for 1 year. Upon driving it for the first time yesterday, it gradually came to a stop. The clutch never smelled hot or appeared to slip. Today I took the inspection cover off and found a rather large nest has been built in the clutch and pressure plate. My question is could this nest cause the throw out bearing from allowing the pressure plate to make proper contact with the clutch. The truck will move in 1st gear and in reverse as long as there is no resistance against the truck.

2012 Camry LE I4, 4000 miles, 5 1/2 months old.
When cold after first starting, there's a very noticeable hesitation for a second or two when it makes the 5-6 shift at around 35 mph. I'm fairly sure it's 5-6 because if I hold it in 5th, it doesn't happen till I upshift to 6th. It almost seems like it's some kind of "in between" gears friction, like it hasn't quite let go of 5th but it's already started going into 6th. It's way less noticeable when the engine's warm.
The other issue is a bit of surge and hesitation in cruise control. It won't let you engage CC below a certain speed, around 25 mph. Faster than that, CC can be engaged, and I assume that if it's programmed to let you engage at that speed it should work properly. I have a daily drive on long stretch with a 35 mph speed limit, and I engage the CC. I can feel the engine surge and back off, surge and back off the entire time. OTOH, I can hold it at 35 with my foot, and no surging. I assume it's the interaction of the CC and the auto trans.
Is it worth even mentioning these issues to the dealer? In the past, I've had cars in for subtle problems like this, and they've first tried to persuade me that it's normal, then if I persisted, spent a fair amount of time with the car and didn't find anything. (I'm not referring to any specific dealer here). I don't want to waste a lot of time with the dealer for no results.

I have a 2004 Camry that has had ongoing issues with the Charcoal Canister over the past 3 years. The first time we came across this issue the car threw codes that indicated the Charcoal Canister had to be replaced. Our mechanic said it had to be done and there were no after market parts for this canister. We paid the $800 for parts and labour and had it replaced. Then 13 months later the car began throwing codes again. I had the car looked at again I was told the Canister would need to be replaced... They felt it was likely caused from the intake filter housing cracking. Each time our car does this the codes can be cleared for a bit but the car takes forever to fill and slowly over time you can no longer fill the car as there is so much pressure. This time I bought a used part and replaced the canister. This has happened again..
So we have now replaced this filter 3 times in three years. Can I ask how this canister continues to get gummed up? We live on dusty roads in the country but none of my other Toyota's have had any issues with this. How these canisters are getting gummed up? Is there any way for me to change this Canister myself if I buy them used? I saw in a video on this forum where the user shows putting the car up on a hoist and lowering the exhaust to get to the canister. Do you have to have a hoist? I am wondering if I can achieve this with the car on a blocks? My original mechanic said the rear suspension needs to be taken apart to access the canister? Can I ask where the dust is being drawn from to clock this filter to begin with? I have also been told you can try blowing out the lines? How to attempt this?

I bought a new 2012 corolla a month ago and when the wiper is on the intermittent mode, the wipers make a click sound before it moves and then another click sound after it moves. I still can hear it half of the time with music on (only when the music Is quieter.
I listened to my friend's 2010 corolla and his car had a very faint click. I drove many other cars before and never had this sound. Is this a known sound for corolla?
Camry :: Make Doors Automatic Up And Down?
Is it possible to make doors automatic up and down on all 4 windows? I have a 2003 toyota camry le 2.4L 4 cylinder. I have a 2003 Camry with the 2AZ-FE in it. It has just under 300000 kms on it and is really starting to make lifter noise. Now i know these engines do make ticking noise but I can tell that it is getting progressively worse. I phoned local toyota shop and they want 900 in labor to adjust valves no parts. I know this engine has no adjustment other than swapping lifters to a different size. I am just curious to see if this is worth it on a car with so many miles. Would I be better to drive till it dies then buy another motor or head? Also kinda worried about stripping head bolts in the block if i do change the head. How common is this?

I have a 2010 Camry Se with the JBL system (non-navi). I usually listen to Chinese songs and the display does not seem to show Chinese characters. I've test drove the Sonatas and they display it quite well.
Is there anyway to make the system display Chinese characters? a setting or something in the headunit? or even an update from the dealer? I would imagine the system is similar to the ones overseas..so I assume they get to display the Chinese characters as well? Lastly, is it normal for the songs not to scroll when the car is moving? Even listening to the radio sometimes prevent the system to scroll or even display the correct info about the songs.

I have a 2012 LE Camry 4 cylinder, and almost ready for the first service. I have an annoying vibration at 1150 RPM when driving. It does not matter if the AC is on or off. I have not discussed it with the dealer yet.
It is not a tire balance problem, it is engine related, and only there at a little less than 1200 RPM.
