Camry :: 2009 - Clicking Sound When Turning / Front Drive Axle
I have the dreaded click-click-click noise when turning that is indicative of my CV joint going tits up. Checking it out the boot is split and there is some grease. So, I plan on going ahead and changing both sides drive axles out, since the Camry has 178k on it (yeah, 178k on a 2009.)

I had a bad tear in my front left CV Boot, so I went to have it replaced by a local shop (non-VW). he had an issue getting the CV joint apart to get the boot off, after 2 hours of fighting he got it apart only to have damaged the splines inside. Long story short they ended up replacing my front left axle. That's no problem....but now I have a definite 'tick' (not a loud **clank**) every time I hit a little bump or turn the wheel back and forth repeatedly. What could be causing this?

Passenger differential axle seal is leaking again. It was replaced twice already. My mechanic checked the seal...its not damaged. Its not a excessive leak. Both times, the seal were replaced with OEM. I don't want to buy another one and replace it.
Its a 1995 Celica, 5SFE, 5-speed MT. 98k miles.
Camry :: 2002 SE V6 - Replaced Spark Plugs / Check Engine Light Came On
I recently replaced the spark plugs on my 2002 Camry SE V6 (Gen 5). Let me just say that it was INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT to reach the rear 3 plugs as they sit underneath the intake manifold, way to the rear of the engine compartment. To reach those, I had to unplug some wires reaching on top of the engine, then loosen the intake manifold.
Along the way I broke a tiny air valve that sits underneath intake manifold, and replaced it right away, before starting the car.
When everything was put back together, the car started wonderfully, only to notice the engine light come on. I had the codes checked at the dealer and they indicated a malfunctioning Catalytic Converter and A/F Sensor and some other emissions stuff. Later that day, the VCS/TRAC OFF light came on as well. The service guy at the dealer said those typically come on together with the Check Engine light, which sounds like something he pulled out of somewhere!
The car drives well, no hesitation, no weird behavior, but has no traction control, naturally. While loosening the manifold I had to use a little force to flex it out of place. My guess is that it I may have yanked something out place: may be a wire issue, or a sensor.

But was removing CV axle on 2007 Camry se. When I popped out the driver side axle tranny oil started flowing out and its freaking me out. Hoping I just didn't screw something up.

My 09 Camry was involved in a frontside impact crash about 2 years ago, I've had the car fixed since then by a body shop. However, my airbag light has been on for several months and will not go off. I've even had someone at a local garage try to turn it off, but it did not work.
Today a friend of mine used a clip to read the airbag code, and we got the code 31. I'm not sure what this means though.

Our 2009 Corolla S 5-spd is making a ticking sound like a CV joint is out, but the boots are fine, and the sound is only consistent when there's three fat people in it. With just me driving, I can hear it, but it's just an occasional pop when turning, nothing like the very consistent and recognizable click-click-click noise of a dying CV axle, which is exactly what it does when there's weight.

I have an 09 Camry LE with about 59k miles on it and I just noticed today that When I turn my car on the maintenance required light blinks. But as soon as I put the car in drive it goes away, and does not return when I put it in park again.
I know all of your dash lights should come on at start up to show you that they work. But they all go off and that one remains flashing. I never looked at it before to know whether or not it's always been that way. Also when I first turn on my car, it idles at about 1.5k-2k rpm's. But if I keep my foot on the break and put it in drive then park again it sits at 1k or below. Is this normal? If not what should I be checking out?
Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: Groaning Like Humming Noise From Front Axle
My front axle is making a groaning like humming noise when the truck is cold and first starting to drive it. It does it when speeds are at 30 mph and under and goes away when putting it in 4WD. It sounds like the hubs but I'm not sure. The dealer hasn't been able to duplicate it because they haven't kept it overnight. I'm just wondering if this happen to the truck, was it fixed and what was the issue. Like I said, I think it may be a vacuum issue to the hubs, but not sure.

Wife's 2010 F150 4x4 85000 KMs makes grinding / ratcheting noise in LH front axle when in 2 wheel drive. Mostly when turning left some times when traveling straight never when turning right. Never makes the noise when in four wheel drive. I am suspecting the auto hub is the issue but wonder if others have had this trouble ?

I just bought a 2009 Toyota Camry base. The manual shows the fuel gas turned on when the fuel is lower than 2.8 Gallon. However, after the light was on, I drove about 20 miles, then filled the tank, but only 14.5 Gallon was filled. I was confused, because the tank was 18.5 Gallon per manual, I was thinking about refill around 16.5 Gallon. And how many miles could i drive with the fuel light on? 60 miles?
