Prius (Gen 2) :: 2009 Steering Wheel Started Pulling To Left While Braking

My steering wheel started pulling to the left when I brake, right after I had my struts replaced. The struts could be related to this problem?

Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: 2003 F350 Pulling Hard Left At Low Speed When Braking

I have an 03 F350 4x4 dually. Was pulling hard left at low speed when braking (front). Replaced pads, calipers, rotors, hoses and tires. Still the same problem. You can feel the abs activate right before it almost locks up the left front brake (basically will pull the steering wheel out of my hand). BTW the abs light does not come on.

Bmw :: 2010 - Pulling To The Right On Wet Roads When Braking

I have a 2010 328i BMW. It's been fine with the exception of run flat tires, which we've switched out of...my present problem is with the car pulling to the right when braking on very wet roads. This doesn't happen below about 40 MPH, or on dry surfaces. The shop has checked the brakes twice and done an alignment. Is something getting wet that shouldn't, or is there an adjustment that hasn't been explored?

Ford - Explorer :: 1996 2WD V6 - Mild Bucking / Pulling Sensation When Braking

I have a 1996 Ford Explorer 2WD V6 that runs pretty well. It has approx 270,000 miles on it. My issue is whenever I stop, there seems to be a mild jerk as the truck comes to a stop. It feels like it's the wheel, but I am not sure. I was thinking it was the rotors and was going to replace them. The jerking isn't violent; instead it's almost as if the truck is bucking. It's probably not even a visible buck, but instead something you feel.

Passat (B5) :: V6 Pulling Left With Severe Shakes Sometimes

Ok so my car is 5 speed and 2.8 30v V6, I bought an Advance auto parts Axle about a year ago and it has already stopped performing as new. Its clicking and yadayda my car is pulling left with severe shakes sometimes and I need to know what a quality part is. As I look through the ECS website i see OEM at $500, if i had to buy those, i may have to let the car go. And the other brands I've never heard of before so I am hesitant to buy now, and don't want to spend the money only to have to replace in a year again.

Honda - Accord :: Pulling Left After Tire Job Done

It's a 2004 Honda LX... We bought a car that had previously been damaged to the right rear. They had fixed it up and all. When I got it, the car was already pulling left so I eventually took it to get an alignment.

After the alignment the technician told me that it still might pull because of how the tires were worn - and it still pulled left.

This past Saturday I decided to get a lot done: 4 new tires, an alignment, break pads changed, and the rotors were resurfaced.

I tested the alignment on the freeway and local flat roads and it still pulls left.

I'm thinking this problem still has to do with the previous damage, which parts could be causing it so I can pitch it to the shop I'll be taking it to?

Lexus LS 2007+ :: Car Pulling To The Left - Wheel Alignment?

I just bought a 2006 LS460. It's pulling strongly to the left (this is a UK RHD car). I'm assuming this is just a wheel alignment/tracking thing, but just in case it's not, are there any other potential causes that I should be aware of ?

Sonata I45 (YF - 2011+) :: Pulling Left After Tire Rotation

Had my tires rotated yesterday and now the car is pulling noticeably left. On a flat road, if I let go of the wheel I change lanes in about 3 to 4 seconds depending on speed. Also, the faster I am going, the worse the pull feels. Before the rotation, the car would pull very slightly to the right sometimes but only enough for me to wonder if it was pulling or if it was my imagination.

One other detail, the tire that is now on the left front is newer than the others due to a pothole eating the last one. It is the same hankook tire in type and size. Just with less miles on it. It was previously on the front right. I've seen the threads on the pulling issue and the 18 step TSB and all of that but nothing about rotation or the pulling following a specific wheel or tire. Could the rolling resistance of a newer tire really cause that much of a pull?

My issue is I am getting ready to leave for a road trip and can't get in for an alignment or for someone to go through the whole TSB. I think I might switch the 2 front wheels.

Accent MC (2006-11) :: 2009 - Pulling To The Left When Go Faster

Ok, maybe point me in the right direction before I take it somewhere. Pulls to left, worse when you go faster, hardly not at all at low speeds. Stops straight. Front left is the Oldest tire, due for replacement. I haven't rotated to try isolate it. Haven't hit anything, just started 2 days ago. Normal wear on the tires. Pressures are all at 32. Bad tire, right?

Silverado :: 2003 Truck Pulling To The Left When Take Hand Off The Wheel

I have a 2003 Silverado 1500 with 198,000 miles. I was on the PA turnpike a few days ago and notice that when I take my hand off the wheel, the truck pulls to the left. I have to hold the steering wheel center to keep it straight. When I let go, it makes a slight turn to the left.

I did notice that I had a bad ball joint on the passenger side. So I replaced the upper control arm with a new ball joint included and did the lower ball joint on the passenger side since I already had everything apart. I just got my truck aligned this morning and still am having the same pulling issue. The dealership couldn't figure it out either. Here are the specs from the alignment printout:

Front Left Camber:
Before: -0.7; Actual: 0.0

Front Left Toe:
Before: 0.13; Actual: 0.01

Front Right Camber:
Before: 0.7; Actual: 0.0

Front Right Toe:
Before: 0.02; Actual: 0.00

I do rotate the tires every 5,000 miles and are all wearing evenly.

Camry :: 2011 Car Strongly Pulling To The Left / Steering Wobbly

I just purchased a '11 Camry with 72000 miles. Got a good deal on it, other than not having a warranty... Since I've had it, when driving on the interstate, the car has a VERY strong pull to the left. If I let off the wheel, the car drifts to another lane in less than a second. But what's strange, is if I move my car to the furthest right side lane, or on a back road, the pull is not as strong, and sometimes will even pull a bit to the right. I've had all new tires put on, I've rotated the new tires, I've had it aligned 4 different times to no avail . I've also replaced all the brakes and the rear caliper on the drivers side as the rubber boot had a rip in it..

The steering feels a bit off as well, there is no play, but the steering just feels "wobbly" .

Lexus GS 2006-11 :: 2008 GS460 Is Pulling To The Left Even After Alignment

Like the title says my 08 gs460 is pulling to the left, the steering wheel has to be slightly to the left for me to go straight, if I straighten the wheel out it goes off to the right, it has only been doing this the past two weeks or so. I went to Lexus and they agreed it was pulling and so they did an alignment, drove home, no change whatsoever, so I'm wondering what else it could be.

Mitsubishi - Galant :: 2002 - Car Feels Like Pulling Slightly To The Left

I am getting concerned with the steering of my car due to a rather unsettling behavior that has developed within the last month or so. at first it was barely noticeable but over the last several weeks its become more pronounced and more than a bit unsettling.

This issue occurs under two conditions accelerating on a steep upward incline or accelerating to highway speeds / passing. The severity of the problem seems to be a factor of how much torque is being applied to the wheels.

When I accelerate hard the car feels like its pulling slightly to the left but as soon as I let off the gas the car seems to jerk suddenly to the right.

Golf IV / Jetta IV :: Steering Pulling To The Right - Stiff While Turning Left

2K 1.8T Golf. Lowered on Koni struts and neuspeed street (red) springs last year. Rear axel bushing done soon after. Replaced front and rear strut mounts and bearings at the time of struts and springs. Rack died on me in the fall so I had it replaced along with newer control arms and upgraded bushings. Aligned right after the rack was installed and ran like an arrow until last weekend. Now it pull to right, more as I speed up. I also noticed that when I turn left, the steering is much stiffer then steering left (full turns and mild turns).

PS fluid is still full. My ball joints are about 3 years old so I'm leaning towards that direction. Especially after this past winter and the never ending pot holes in Detroit. The shop used moogs and were regularly greased as they had zerk fittings. I think I hear some clunking upfront but I'm unclear as my old GHL Muffler weld finally gave out and is having by a hockey lace and it is rattling every time I accelerate or hit a bump. I'm going to jack it up this weekend to do some exhaust work so I'll give it a good once over and shake down what I can.
