Swollen Nose / Nostrils Off And On For A Day Or Two
Male age 30. I have been facing a strange problem where left or right nostril swells up suddenly for a day or two and goes off.I don't have any pain in them, I take steam and it relaxes a bit. It usually stay for more than a day. The swelling happens alternately on right/ left nostril from outside. It looks a weird.I have shown that to an ENT who recommended a CT scan while I had this swelling. I found little sinus problem but the doctor was not able explain the cause of the swelling.

Sunday evening I felt pain in my nose as if I'm getting a pimple. I work up Monday morning feeling like I got punched in the nose and my bridge was swollen and painful. I have been sneezing from allergies all week so its possible I got an infection. I was also picking on my blackheads so it could have come from anywhere. I went to the doctors office and saw a physician's assistant she suspects is cellulitis. She prescribed bactrim but I am petrified of taking any antibiotics because I am a highly allergic person. I'm allergies to most foods that I have a very limited diet so scared. I have no fever. For now I've been using saline spray rinse and neosporin outside my nose. The pain subsided about 10% after 24 hours but I still have a ton of pain. I read from forums that nasal cellulitis can lead to blood or brain infection so since I'm scared if taking antibiotics because if adverse affect I don't what to do. I'm damned if I take antibiotics I'm damned if I don't. Does here here experienced this and didn't need antibiotics?

How do i make this go away? so its really read and irritated burns to touch and air hurts it a lot. its not here constantly but is pretty close comes and goes. my doc said contact dermatitis but everything he's given me seems to make it worse. Only helpful thing to rid of the terrible pain is cold. like ice and such. how does it leave me alone and can you tell me what it is?

I get a nose polyp more on one side of nose than the other, also the ear on that side also has a lot more problems with blockages and pain and whatever. Researching online I saw some posts saying that it is unusual for it to be more one side than the other and can be cancer! Now am worried sick. Please tell me your thoughts but please don't say stuff like go to the doctor.

For about almost a year now i have had these bumps around the base of my penis, they are in clusters, they have been increasing in number and in size(not significantly). They are slightly raised from the skin. I have looked all over the web on what they could be but haven't found anything that looks like them. The larger one that is on the shaft has seemed to stop growing. My doctor noticed it when i went to get an std test awhile back, said it didn't look like a wart but he wasn't sure. He said he would have to take a biopsy of it to see. But then got off the topic of stds. He wasn't able to see the little bumps since i wasn't shaved. Now since i have shaved they are more noticeable.

First of all, I want to make clear (for a better diagnosis) that I have not had sexual intercourse with anyone, which rules out the possibility of anything caused by such.
About a week ago, I suddenly found a large lump (diameter ~1.2cm, heigh ~0.8cm) that is painful to the touch. While it pains a little when pressure is applied, it is rather painful if squeezed. It does not have any particular color; marginally reddish, but that's all. I would like to know what kind of symptom this is, and if leaving it be is the best solution (so that it can slowly fade away). While I do not remember clearly, I recall that its formation was very sudden; less than 24h, I would say.

I have this lump on my gum right by the base of the tooth where it goes into the gum. It does not hurt at all it was bigger at first but now is smaller but sometimes it pusses never randomly bleeds unless it pusses first. However when I get erections the whole penis become fully erect apart from the very base. The base is very weak so under the weight of the erection it hangs at about 40 degrees. I am able to have sex with no problems but girls have commented that it seems unusual and perhaps feels a little different because it doesn't naturally point upwards.
Is there anything a doctor could for me to perhaps strengthen the base so that I can achieve a full pointing upwards erection?
Back And Neck :: Severe Migraines Due To Pain Is The Base Of My Head?
I've been having a hard time with neck pain, I'm guessing in my C1-C2 region. I say this because I can literally hear my vertebrates grinding together followed by a sharp pain that runs all the way to my temple and the top of my head, which in turn is causing severe migraines and fatigue. It's gotten to the point where I'll be lucky if one migraine only lasts 3 days. After it goes away, it returns 3-4 days later. It's gotten extremely worse over the past month. I've tried a few physical therapy exercises the relieve the tension but I've found little to no relief. I'm baffled because I'm only 23. Being this young shouldn't suggest long term damage, but the pain tells me otherwise. Any advice or information on some form of release would be more appreciated than anything.

I have not officially been diagnosed with Occipital Neuralgia, but I am beginning to think that that is what I have been suffering from. I will be going back to a doctor soon (husband is military and we are currently getting ready to move to a new country...so it will be a few months before I settle and can get to specialist). In the meantime, I wanted some advice from others who deal with this. I am curious if this sounds like ON to you (I know you can't diagnose me...just curious if my story is similar to anyone else's) and what you do for the pain.
I am 25 years old right now. The headaches started when I was about 18 or 19 years old. It started on the right side of my head right at the base of my head and neck. I got them almost everyday. It was just a dull ache. Nothing awful, but definitely annoying enough that I would have to take advil (especially when I had class or work or something). As months went by and the pain continued, I started getting nervous that I had a tumor (I am a pretty big hypochondriac). I went to my doctor and he sent me to get a CT scan. Everything came back normal. The headaches continued. Went to a neurologist and got an MRI. Again everything came back normal. The headaches still continued. Went to physical therapy. Still not much improvement (granted, I don't practice the exercises he taught me very often). At this point, to be honest, I gave up hope. I took advil almost every day and learned to deal with the pain. I assumed it was just tension headaches. The pain has now gotten worse. The headaches are still only that one side of my head, but the pain spreads behind my ear and up to my right eye when it is at its worst. It feels like a deep ache and I constantly want to stretch or crack my neck or something (which doesn't work). I have a "knobble" that I use to massage the area. Applying a lot of pressure on it hurts...but in a good way. It sort of relieves the pain for the time being, but unless I take advil it will usually come right back and it will last for a few hours if I don't do anything.
I am a teacher and I obviously have to be at my best everyday. The pain makes it impossible, which is why I usually give in and take meds even though I KNOW I should not be taking it everyday. If I am just at home and have nothing to do, I try to massage the area and relax until it dies down.
Does this sound like it could be Occipital Neuralgia? Does anyone have any other idea of what it COULD be? I haven't had much help from doctors, so I sort of want to be armed with information the next time I go see one. I am sick of being told it's nothing when I am spending every day in pain.

I have suffered with cervical spondylosis since i was 35 i am now 47 and in terrible pain i have physio naproxen co dydramol 500/30 nothing works i have a tens machine. Can not swim now due to severe pain,i get a constant feeling like a electric shock..or something cutting down my spine i have a feeling of unbalanced sometimes when i stand up my eyes are sensitive to the light,and my neck constantly feel to heavy for my shoulders.i get numbness tingling in hands feet hip sometimes and burning like you would not believe...Does anybody else get any of these symptoms ?plus terrible pain in neck and base of skull would love to hear from somebody else who suffers this terrible condition

August first I had sex with a random girl,but I used a condom. During the intercourse the condom broke,it didn't take me more then 15-20 seconds the most to realise it and I stopped right there. A week or two later I shaved,but it was my first time using a buzzer,usually I trim it with scissors. Id say 2-3 weeks after the shaving(40 days after the sexual intercourse) I saw that small little white bubbles in a ring shape had occurred at the base of my pennis,and in a straight up line on the left side of the pennis. they're not painfull at all, they would get a little itchy when pressure is put on them like the laptop,the belt or skinny pants. Its almost new years eve now, I popped most of them out,and they seem to crust and disappear after I pop them,some disappeared itself but new ones keep coming out,especially after my second shave with a buzzer again. When I look at them, they're like huge hair follicles that just pop out ,and hair comes out of almost all of em. They've reduced in numbers but never disappeared. I don't remember me getting sick after the sexual intercourse,don't remember any fevers or stomach pain,except for 2-3 days ago,i had a slight stomach pain but probably it was cuz of too much drinking,now its gone. it still feels ticklish a little bit down there.what could it be guys?any ideas? please tell me its not herpes....

My son has had swollen eyes on and off but usually only one eye but is has happened in the other. I was told it's not pink eye probably allergies.
This morning he woke up with half of his lip upper and lower really swollen, no bites, not dark, just swollen.
When this happens whichever area is tender not itchy (except his eye but not all the time).

I had unprotected sex for like a week straight 3-4 times ,a day good intense session each time, with a girl i know is clean(STD Wise). Well thats what i thought(showed me legit papers so that's legit). Anyway the day after the final day of having sex, i notice a few red dots(little) appear on my head and shaft, and my scrotum got swollen red and shiny, and now today the pee hole has gotten a little swollen too. It itches no more noticeably then ever only a little bit(not like i'm itching every 5 minutes), doesn't hurt when i pee or ejaculate, its just freaking me out. I am going to get tested tomorrow but was hoping for some faster advice.
The thing is i shaved all of my junk for the first time(usually just trim) and got what i think is an ingrown hair or pimple (looks like one) on my shaft too, i don't think it's herpes but who knows, i'm just trying to figure what else all this could be.
