Menopause :: Face Changing And Aches

Good evening ladies, a strange question I know but it's really bothering me so much I couldn't work this afternoon and getting myself in a right old pickle about it. Along with all the other horrid things happening right now my cheekbones are really aching and I acts not through laughing either ! I rang my mum and she said she remembered her face changing when she was going through it and told me not to worry, but I am........for god's sake I think every part of my body has had some sort of ache and pain and now my face. So of course i've been staring in the mirror and anxiety high right now , so sick of it all - has anyone else had anything similar ?

Back Pain After Epidural Shot/changing To Opana?

I had spinal epidural on lumbar area which is very successful, as always. Same time I transition from Long Acting 30 mg Oxycontin every 6 hrs and short acting Oxycodone to 10mg Opana Long Acting every 6 hrs and 20 mg Opana short acting 3 times a day.

I feel such terrible upper back pain! Due to shot, i don't feel treated area much, but upper back never hurt me more than it does now.

I know that Opana not working well for me, although was told Opana is stronger then Oxy's, this why my Dr decided to start from lower doses first. I take 20mg of short acting hoping at least some relieve, but 3 hrs later I am still in agony; this can't be normal.

Thyroid Disorders :: Changing Back To Synthroid From Nature-throid

i was hypo on 1 grain nature throid with a tsh of 5...lot of pains too on 1.5 grains i was still having many aches and pains at 6 weeks and hair still falling out....and at 2 grains 6 weeks later i was having severe heart paps so i knew i was hyper or it just not suited for me.....hence i felt bad at 1.5 grains and funny at 2 grains.....

so i went back to 1.5 grain and still had heart pap and felt bad so after a week of trying a grain every other day....

i gave up and went back to 100mcg of synthroid and heart paps stopped.....my hair loss was less the week i started on synthroid....which shocked me....alot less.....

but today i did have some pulling feeling in my neck and a head twitch is what i call it...those symptoms that are not constant but fleeting  when the thyroid is changing

...and wondered has anyone else went from nature throid back to synthroid....

Herpes :: Sciatica? Changing Pain In My Butt, Inner And Outer Thighs

I am now 15 weeks post exposure. Was not able to get a blood test after 8 weeks. Tested negative prior to that.

My only symptom now is terrible pain that I could only describe as sciatic based off what I see online.

- constantly changing pain in my butt, inner and outer thighs, and my big toe on the right foot.
- constant pinching feeling in groin
- lower and mid back pain (can be mild or so painful, for example needing to lie down after a 5 minute run)

How likely is herpes to cause these symptoms (which have lasted three weeks now), without causing lesions?

Orlistat :: Is It Working?

So it's been 3 weeks since I started orlistat and slimming world. First week loss 8lb, second week loss 5lb, third week loss 3lb. I am not eating much fat at all and am wondering if the tablets are doing anything for me? I'm really disappointed with only 3 lb loss this week. I know the weight loss will slow down, however I am very overweight, doing slimming world AND orlistat, shouldn't the weight be falling off? I haven't cheated once in these three weeks! My body has gone from having around 3000 cals a day to just 1000 cals plus exercise!

Orlistat :: What To Eat And Avoid?

I'm fairly new to Orlistat having started beginning of october having not much luck on diets as I luuurve my food. But I had decided to go to my doctor and ask for help and she recommended I try these tablets.

I've struggled a couple of times trying to find the right foods but i'm slowly getting there i certainly have cut down on eating all the crap and stuff i love to eat but without totally having to give it all up by changing my fat/calorie intake. I have experienced the overload of fat once and it was not pretty lol, I will not be having a pizza for a while thats for sure. Its definitely a trial and error process just finding what foods work and wot doesn't for me and how much i can eat of it. I for one know these tablets are a god send as it stops me from having all those fatty lovely tasty foods that i know I shouldn't be eating and more of what i should be.

Orlistat :: With Eating Disorder

Basically, it seemed like it was at first then it just stopped, for ages (months) and it made me miserable because I was doing everything I could right, which was very difficult for me because I have an eating disorder. When I realised nothing was happening after all that hard work, combined with stress and misery (i have bpd and an anxiety disorder on top of the ed) I ended binging repeatedly. So in the end I just gained weight.

What do I do now? I've been trying so hard for the past year, exercise healthy eating instead of starving myself like i would usually resort to, and then orlistat. and then there was barely any difference in the end. I've now gained 10lbs from my start weight.

Is there any option after Orlistat, medication wise. I don't really want to contact my doctor until I know this as I'm embarrassed but I couldn't find any information online. I'm not heavy enough for a gastric band and I don't think that would necessarily even help me as it wasn't overeating that was the problem.

I have been prescribed Orlistat and been told i need to take them for 6 months.

I was going to start tomorrow, but i'm a bit nervous cause i'm already a windy person and fear this could make it worse.

Im also not sure what i can eat either, i do follow slimming world, so eat lean meat, veg fruit etc etc but i do use my sins on things like a choc bar or a hot choc or something like that. will eating that make me ill?

I'm so confused by it all, can anyone please advise on a typical day's food please?
