Iron Deficiency? Headaches, Dizziness, Clogged Feeling In Ears

Headaches, cold sweaty feet, inner tremors in legs, anxiety, dizziness, "clogged" feeling in ears, lightheadedness...

When i counted how much iron I probably got from the food yesterday, it was around 2-4 mg, which of most is not absorbed correctly as iron I guess?

ENT :: Crackling Sound In Windpipe

I find this helps with some relief. Block off the nostril on the side where the cracking is occurring with a cotton ball or tissue or small piece of tape. Breathe and blow your nose only through the open side for a few hours. In the beginning I only had to do this a couple of times a day. Do as often as necessary for your personal needs.

Both Ears Have Been Crackling For Months

I got a bad cold several months ago and developed fluid in both of my ears. My ears felt clogged and they crackled. some of the clogged sensation went away, but the crackling remains. I went to the doctor and they found a little fluid, so I was given a steroid shot but didn't work. The crackling drivers me crazy. What can I do?

Crackling Noise In The Ear And Dizziness

Several times a day in the last week, I have experienced a slight crackling noise in my left ear and straight away felt dizzy as if I'm going to faint.  Can anyone tell me what it could be.

ENT :: Crackling Noise In My Left Ear?

I have been having a weird crackling noise in my left ear. It seems to come back when I wake up in the morning. Then it either fades away entirely later on or only gets triggered when I hear sounds (i.e. music, shutting doors, any noise).

I have been to the doctors and she looked into my ear, there was nothing wrong with it. I haven't been having any sinus problem. I have also cleaned my ear with a product called "Audiclean".

ENT :: Paining Crackling Noises Around Nose

I think I have been experiencing what I believe are sinus issues for almost a year. I have been to two ENT's and they put the flexi camera up my nose, advised a slight deviated septum and gave nasal drops.

I also had a CT scan was they said was clear, slight inflammation on the right sinus, but other than than cleat. My nose is rarely blocked but I have terrible crackling, popping behind my nose and it even seems to be above my palate. I get phlegm/mucus at the back of my throat, often lumps of it, but not down my nose.

I have a constant pain up my right nostril.

The popping and crackling appears to be getting worse, almost a bone crunching sound. I often feel a painful pressure behind my nose or at the side of it, and then a horrible sensation of movement to relieve the pressure.

I get headaches above my right eye and often feel like I have been hit on the right side of my nose. The cracking noises come from both sides of my nose.

I am now also experiencing tooth and gum ache, and woke last night to popping sounds in my mouth, almost above my palate, but cannot be sure.

My ears frequently feel full too. As I previously mentioned my nose is never blocked, and its not full of mucus, so in that respect I do not feel bunged up!

I dont know where to go from here, ENT told me there was nothing more he could do on the results of my CT scan.

Right Ear Crackling, Half Deaf, Ringing Somewhat

I recently had a cold, with some sinus issues, first time ever and I'm 36, not allergic to anything. The sinus has now cleared, 95%, still have some yellow mucus coming out when I blow my nose, but only on right side and not as much as yesterday or day before, but left with an ear that is half deaf and crackles when it hears a lot of noises at once (crackles or sounds like a waterfall, difficult to explain). Can hear fine with my left ear. There's also some ringing in the ear. Slight. Is this something that will clear up with time or do I need to see a doctor? I did finish my antibiotics this morning.I can also say that I'm a bit off balance, I won't say dizzy or vertigo, just half off balance when I walk. Not enough to fall over. Thanks in advance

Orthopedics :: Crackling Sound In Neck On Walking

I'm 31 male. Yesterday I went to a Physical Therapist for TMJ treatment. The therapist was massaging my jaw and then moved to my neck to massage that. Without warning he forcefully cranked my neck to the left and it popped really loud three times.

I got upset with him and told him ever to do that again that he wasn't a chiropractor and he responded that he knew chiropractor movements. I've never been to a chiropractor by the way.

Ever since then whenever I walk I hear a loud crackling, like pop rocks sound in my lower neck, right above my shoulders. I don't have pain, though my neck is somewhat stiff now. The sound isn't present when moving the neck at all, left, right, up or down. Just when walking.

Did he do permanent damage to my neck? Should I seek treatment? What type of doctor should I see? Will the crackling go away or am I stuck with this forever and soon my neck will start to become very painful? I'm freaking out over this and need to know a solution.

Child Health :: Crackling Sound On Exhale?

I recently went to the doctor with a bad cough, slight fever and coughing up green mucus a lot. I was told my lungs sounded clear (4 days ago) and I have no chest pain, but the doctor gave me antibiotics just "in case" my symptoms worsened over Christmas. A new symptom I have noticed now is, when I exhale, sometimes I get this strange crackling or bubbling noise. Does anyone think it's a good idea to take my antibiotics before seeing my doctor again as I have to wait over the weekend for them to open again?

I am just worried that Penicillin may be harmful to take for something that might not be bacterial, even though I am getting this strange crackling sound and severe cough?

Ear Problems :: Crackling Popping Noise When Sleeping

This has been happening for a year now. This ONLY happens when I am sleeping or laying down which is the same thing. When I go to sleep, one of my ears will make a crackling, popping sound. It will continue to make sounds until I get up. When I am awake and up, it doesn't happen. No sounds. Everything is okay. I already seen doctors and there was no explanation .... maybe etd. maybe acid reflux. This was not helpful. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Remember, this only happens when I am sleeping. It happens every night. When I go to sleep, my ear will make a crackling, popping sound until I get up.

10+ Years Of Ears Crackling / Popping / Ear Fullness

I find it so difficult to describe my ear /nose/Jaw/ throat problem ( I really don’t know what the problem is)! But ill try. So Ive been suffering for 11 years, I am a 30 year old female. When I was 17 I had a jaw operation as I had an under bite ( they moved the bottom jaw back and screwed it into place). All went well, then when I was 19 I took a flight to Ireland with a bad cold, when I hopped off the plane I felt like my ears needed to pop so I held my nose and tried to make them pop. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! For a few days both ears were completely blocked up,could barely hear. Then it kind of cleared of sorts but left me with this weird popping, gurgle, crackle, feeling of fullness in both ears. Over the years I have seen a number of ENT’s, one gave me grommets, didn’t work. Others are just at a loss as to what it could be!

Ill try and describe my issue a bit more, so ITS CONSTANT, day in day out, im forever holding my nose and softly pushing the air out to no relief I just feel like almost a suction of crap going up and down against my eardrum, Its like it almost wants to pop and let a stream of fluid come flowing out both my ears, but it never happens. An ENT told me that my ears were in fact ‘popping’ but to me it doesn’t feel like it. When I do this the noise is intense, Ive had family members come close to me and they can actually hear the noise! They think its gross lol Sometimes it even makes a weird squeaking noise, its disturbing! Funnily enough when I get a cold, the symptoms improve to an extent (maybe its just because I'm too busy feeling sorry for myself)

Anyway if I breath in quickly and hard through my nose its like it pushes the air/fluid/ whatever it is up against my eardrum and causes intense pressure in the area, but I can breath through my nose gently with no real noise. Then if I swallow or open my jaw it pops releases the pressure BUT then the fluid/air just settles back to the normal position and when I swallow, yawn, move Jaw, or even just breath I have the weird crackle/pop/ear fullness……….It drives me insane! Also one ear will feel worse than the other at any given time, its almost like the air/fluid can move from left to right up to about 10 times a day! I know I sound crazy, my ex fianc tried to tell me its all in my head, I know im not crazy I just hope I don’t have to live with this forever!

I also notice that I clench my jaw a lot and apparently I grind my teeth.

I constantly have theories on what it is and they chop and change. Maybe I have enlarged adenoids, maybe its ETD, maybe its TMJD, maybe I have s**t stuck near my soft palate or maybe its something else……..I also always feel like I have a lot of post nasal drip and my throat gets sore easily and almost feels like its swollen at times. I have tried every nose spray, steroid etc you name it Ive tried it.

Lately I wonder if I should try some natural therapy like acupuncture or maybe a chiropractor or physio….Im hesitant to go back to another ENT as I always feel so disheartened when they tell me there is nothing they can do.

Asthma :: Crackling Sounds And Tight Chest And Coughing

my asthma only acts up when I get a cold. 3 weeks ago, got the flu. I coughed up thick green mucus, heavy night sweats,a fever 101-102. Saw doc on day 3.My heart rate was elevated so had an EKG. Was normal. I was very weak and had a very tight chest short of breath and wheezing. By the third day I was coughing dry. Felt couldn't get enough air in to cough. Prescribed Cefprozil, Tussionex and Albuterol. A wk later I felt more energy but doc said I was still wheezing and crackling. Talking makes me cough. I was given Azithromycin, Decadron, prednisone.3rd appt still wheezing and tight and now dizzy.Lost 8 lbs. no appetite.Had chest x-ray and blood test.no results yet. I now take Doxycycline,Clarithromycin Prednisone and Albuterol. Yesterday I was so dizzy I considered the ER.I don't cough at night anymore. Today less dizziness, + energy but pain in upper back & sides.Voice is different, still crackling sounds & tight chest and coughing. Is the asthma causing all this or just a bad bug?

Hearing Loss :: Partial Hearing Loss With Clogged-up Ear

About a week ago, I was at home at the computer (I believe I was listening to music at the time), and I noticed that the hearing in my left ear had been significantly diminished (but not completely gone). About a minute (perhaps even less than a minute) later, it returned completely to normal, and so I assumed that it was just ear wax or something, and everything was fine now. However, a few seconds to a minute later, it went back to being diminished again. I can't remember for certain if I felt anything physically when all of this happened, but there may have been something that I felt in my ear - which led me to believe it was probably just ear wax.

I have researched on-line for possible solutions to this kind of problem, and I have tried every possibility that I could - peroxide, warm olive oil, blowing as hard as I can with my nose and mouth shut, blowing as hard as I can with my nose and mouth and other (good) ear shut, nasal decongestant (which successfully clears up my nose, but doesn't have any effect on the ear), hot steam bath, Similasan Ear Relief drops that are supposed to clear up water in the ears, jumping up and down with my bad ear tilted toward the ground, jogging, and of course trying to dig out ear wax with the ear wax curette that I have. Unfortunately, nothing has worked, and my hearing has been about the same ever since a week ago when it went out (diminished) for the second time.

I have been able to remove a lot of ear wax with the curette, and sometimes it seems to make it a little better, but it never restores my hearing to normal. Sometimes I feel like I am right at the spot where it is clogged up (if indeed clogged ear wax is the problem), because the curette seems to be hitting a spot that's clogged with ear wax (judging from what it feels and sounds like), but then when I dig out a bunch of ear wax at that spot, my hearing is still the same or perhaps only slightly better. Perhaps I am actually pushing the ear wax further inside, which was mentioned as a possible negative effect of trying to remove the ear wax yourself. Also, I am wary of not poking too hard or too deep, as that was also a warning given at the sites I visited in my research.

Swallowing never seems to do anything, but it's interesting that when I have a strong belch, I can feel pressure inside that left (bad) ear, and it really feels like it's about to burst out and expel whatever is stuck (if it's the case that something is stuck), but it never does. Maybe whatever is stuck in there [ear wax, presumably] is just in so tight that nothing seems to be able to remove it. However, the odd circumstance that occurred when the problem first originated - which is the fact that it got better right after getting clogged up, and then got clogged up again - would seem to suggest that there may be another reason for this happening, other than plugged-up ear wax.

Spinal Cord :: Neck Clicking, Crackling. Pop Rocks Sound When Walking After Neck Adjustment

I went to physical therapy for TMJ 4 days ago, I'm 31 years old. While massaging my jaw the physical therapist went on to my neck, and without me knowing out of nowhere cranked my neck super hard and it popped 3 times on the left side. My neck has been stiff on the left ever since with some pain and when I walk I hear loud clicking crackling/pop rocks sounds in my neck right before it meets the shoulders. Did he injure me? anyone else experience this? will it go away.

I was so upset he cracked my neck like that he isn't even a chiropractor but said afterwards when I got upset with him that he knows chiropractor movements.

I've never been to a chiropractor so I don't know how it compares but it seems really hard and forceful when he did it. Its weird that when I move my neck I don't hear the sound, only when walking. Someone please advise me on this.

Also what type of doctor should I see for this issue, i'm going to schedule an appointment tomorrow, but don't know the type of doctor who would be best. My GP just gave me ibuprofen and said it should go away on it's own.
