Frozen Shoulder :: Hydrodilatation - Plenty Of Gas And No Adhesion Around Joint

so, I had the injection today after 9 months of suffering with a frozen shoulder. Well, the doctor did the deed and when she had finished she said there was plenty of gas around the joint meaning I already had a full range of movement. She 'felt' as she injected the joint, that there was no adhesion? Go figure? Why can't I move my shoulder, furthermore, why have a been in excruciating pain? Apparently it is all muscular?

I feel I have been passed from pillar to post. I feel negative and angry, frustrated and fed up quite frankly?

Hidradenitis Suppurativa For The Rest Of Our Lives!

Just had my recent abscess drained and have walked out of the hospital today. I have suffered with abscess for at least 12 years. I never even knew this this disease existed until yesterday when the doctor at the hospital told me what it was. I had always been told by doctors that it just one of these things I am prone to.. So upset that it hasn't been picked up on before. I'm hoping to be referred to a dermatologist, has anyone else been referred??

The doctor told me that it can be helped with a long term course of pills as this disease is with us for the rest of our lives (we lucky people).  Can we get a Nhs exemption card?? I am completely in the dark. After spending so much money through the years on washes, pills, bandages, creams, solutions and paste.  Feel frustrated but relieved that I have a little light at the end of the tunnel.

Asthma :: Daily Shortness Of Breath At Rest

For two years I have been battling daily shortness of breath at rest.  Every month or so I have a bad bout with struggling to breath that lasts a few days to about a week.  I finally got a diagnoses of Bronchial Ashma.  I was never able to tolerate steroid inhalers.  I have now been put on Spiriva.  I have read that it doesn't usually work with ashma.  Is it normal to have shortness of breath daily with asthma.  I quit smoking when this all started two years ago and have not touched a cigarette since.  I was hoping to feel better.  I have never had such breathing problems as I have these last two years.  I am trying to feel confident that I was given the right diagnosis.  It is very depressing to feel I have to live this way for the rest of my life when I am only 46 years old.

Genital Herpes Simplex :: For The Rest Of My Life?

I recently contracted oral AND genital herpes. Myself and my DR were almost certain it was HSV-2, but yesterday, my results showed that they were BOTH infact HSV-1! So I know this is the cold sore virus, but I'm wondering if it acts the same as HSV-2, will I get flare ups every now and again for the rest of my life? Do I need to let potential partners know I had this virus?

Hip Replacement :: Be Prepared For Pain The Rest Of Your Life?

"Be prepared for pain the rest of your life. You may be able to walk unassisted, but the evenings you will pay, a different pain. A continous ACHE!"

Someone (aged 39) who'd had the op wrote this in 2014 on a site that was about post-op tips.

Is this really true? I thought we were all going dancing in a few months' time...

Frozen Shoulder :: Days Of Constant Pain, Even At Rest?

I'd like to know if others share some of my symptoms and which ones?

1) Days of constant pain, even at rest?

2) Pain in the upper arm, often in the inner upper arm?

3) Pain in the back of the shoulder?

4) Pain when laying on the scapula of the affected shoulder?

5) No increase in pain while doing therapy exercises? But, an increase sometimes afterwards?

6) Mostly bad days, but some random low-pain days? And, often no clear reason why I have those low-pain days.

7) Pain that seems to move around. Sometimes arm pain, then back of shoulder pain, then arm pain again?

8) Typically either arm pain or back of the shoulder pain, but typically not both at the same time.

Relationship Between Heart Rate (at Rest) And Blood Pressure?

I would be interested in your views on whether you believe that there is a relationship between heart rate (at rest) and blood pressure? My bp monitor always gives me my heart rate, which I guess is standard? But I got to thinking (my wife says this is dangerous for me!) why do bp monitors register heart rate unless there was a link to bp? I have "googled" it and can't find anything that is definitive. My resting heart rate hovers around 60 BPM which is quite good apparently. How much attention do you all take of the heart rate readings on your monitors?

Possible To Give Chlamydia By Sharing A Bath?

We only shared a bath once also, is it possible to get chlamydia any other way other than through sexually contact? I've read horrible stories about children getting it from their parents without sexual contact and having their children taken about way because they assume rape.

Hysterectomy :: Dead Sea Bath Salts

Well I got some Dead Sea bath salts today and have been looking forward to having a bath.

Poured a lukewarm bath and in I go..........bliss

it was so relaxing - I felt great.

And then the problem ......... How do I get out?

had to shout on my hubby as I was well and truly stuck. I managed to get onto my knees and out that way. Was not a pretty sight.

That's what I get for being too confident.

Pregnancy Age 35+ :: Gave My Dog A Flea Bath Using Shampoo

Not thinking yesterday I gave my dog a flea bath using shampoo containing pyrethins .15% and piperonyl butoxide 1.5%. I'm nervous of the effect this may have on my pregnancy and brain development especially at this time. I'm reading these chemicals can cause autism. I washed my hands repeatedly after I realized this was a stupid thing to do. But I also had a small cut so I'm more worried about the chemicals absorbing in my skin and blood. Do you think I caused permanent damage? I'm a nervous wreck.

I gave her a bath today with regular shampoo and used a glove.  However I reached my hand into the rise water to pull the drain, would that be a second exposure if flea shampoo was in the water?  I washed my hands again repeatedly.

Movement Disorders :: Tremors/involuntary Slow Finger And Hand Movements At Rest

I'm seeing a neurologist next week because of the above symptoms.   I'm a 68 year old woman and my GP said it's the way my body is aging!  I'm not so much worried (about for example Parkinson's) as intrigued.  I know lots of people suffer hand and finger tremors but I am a bit unnerved by my hands and fingers moving very, very slowly on their own.  As I stop typing for a moment my right little finger has raised itself from the keyboard as if it were being pulled but very very slowly.  My whole hand will slowly curl and even my arms will move on their own if I am "at rest".   It's probably something with no explanation but I wonder if anybody else who has been diagnosed with a neurological/muscular  condition has experienced this symptom.  I do feel as if I am trembling right through my body and my feet will also move independently if I keep still long enough. I don't seem to have any other Parkinson's symptoms.

Common Table Salt In A Warm Bath Cured My Scabies

I was very happy to find that common table salt in a warm bath cured my Scabies. After soaking for 15 minutes, get out of the bath and drip dry. Do not use a towel, but if you must, just pat dry with kitchen towels as they are more hygienic. If needed, repeat after 4 days.

I feel this treatment should be made public, as it is free of harmful poisons associated with common cures prescribed by the physician.

The salt will get into the mite holes to kill the eggs, and also kill the mites on the surface almost instantly.

This is something all families have readily available in the kitchen, and is very simple to use.

Make sure all bedding is washed in at least 50 degrees, and clothing is changed and washed as hot as possible.
