I had my passenger side window replaced, and the car now has a strong smell of adhesive. I have left the windows open for a week, and the smell just gets stronger.

I have a starting problem that is a new one to me. After leaving my car at the airport for two days, when I returned the instrument lights lit up but engine would not turn over. I had it washed too, so I figured the guys left a light on...nope. So I turned the ignition switch off a waited a bit, and the engine made 1/2 a turn. I waited a bit more, then a full turn. Long story short, after enough of these cycles, the engine started and I drove home, no problem. The next morning, I figure the battery is well charged, but I get the same behavior. I've had many experiences with batteries getting progressively weaker as I try to start, but this is the first time I seen a battery (or at least starter) get stronger with start attempts. The battery is well within its warrantee period, but this is Texas, so maybe it's dying already. But I don't want to go drop $120 if there's something else to look at first.

I have a 2001 Toyota Solara Convertible, V6, low mileage (92,000), and it will reliably NOT start when the temperature gets below freezing. I have tried a couple of tank fulls of injector cleaner on advice from a friend, but no success. Once the temp falls below freezing overnight, the engine cranks but never catches. Once the temp is above freezing for a few hours, it fires up fine.

my toyota solara v6 SE 2000 has as i think trans problem it won't reverse yesterday as i took it last week to semeone to do engine oil change but instead he drop off the trans oil and add more oil to the engine , and as i don't know i drove it like 1/2 mile with no trans fluid , we figured out that late ! i keept shifting between D & R, 2 & L IT ALWAYS GO FORWARD and no more reverse, what's going on ? before i replace the trans !?

The engine light on my 2001 Toyota Solara V6 keeps coming on with a code that indicates the Catalytic convertor. The convertor has been replaced 3 times with Mineke non-OEM replacements. The O2 sensor on the muffler has also been replaced.
Question, is there any other repair that can be done to correct this short of Toyota doing a full exhaust replacement?

I have been hearing a knocking sound from rear passenger side wheel. My car is a Toyota Solara 2007 with 87k miles on it, tires were changed last week so the issue is not with the tire. I have attached the video url. Why am I hearing this noise. The noise starts after I drive for some distance (15-20 miles), it does not start as soon as I start driving.

2005 Toyota Matrix. I know, bad year. Occasionally, I turn the keys in the ignition and I can hear the starter initiating, but the engine doesn't turn over. It's a seldom occurrence, sometimes lasting 5 minutes, sometimes 30, usually 2-3 times a week(car driven 4-5 times daily). Usually best practice for me is to walk away from the car for a time and come back later to try it. Shorter trips and rainy months tend to increase the problem. Took to Toyota dealer: replaced EMU(three times), oxygen sensor and fuel pump. None of which made any impact on problem. Dealership as never actually SEEN the problem, despite holding it for an entire week. Where should I have them poke around next?

This is a great little truck we only use occasionally. It has 145,000 miles and runs great, but the a/c temperature is very sporadic, and this week it is 100 degrees! I have a 96 camry that has a minor oil leak. I have taken it in to get checked, and the mechanic told us that as long as I'm willing to keep putting oil in it every month, I don't have to fix anything. However, lately the car has been making a burning smell, especially when I turn on the heater, and when the car is low on oil. Also, my oil cap has some yellow gunk on it. I'm concerned that this means water is mixing with my oil.

I have a 1993 Camry 4 Cylinder Sedan with the automatic transmission. It's done a grand total of just 71k miles and hasn't given me any problems until now.
Recently, due to our living situation, I've had to park our car in the garage and seeing as I don't typically do this, it takes a few tries to get it in there. I've noticed that when I park in there the car smells very, very strongly of (I believe, I'm not 100% certain) un-burnt fuel. I've noticed the same thing happens when I make a few attempts at parking on a hill or parallel parking. This doesn't happen when I just drive head-first into the driveway or into angled parking, etc. I've also noticed that the fuel economy seems to be awful for a 4 cylinder. I've driven the car a grand total of maybe 150 miles in the last week and have refueled it to the halfway point from near empty on the gas gauge twice (that's 8 MPG for those who care). I drive it like a mattress salesman so I know my driving habits are not the source of poor mileage.
Took it to the stop, no leaks were found, nothing has failed. Mechanic told me that it's normal for the car to "run rich" at idle speeds (which is when I would notice the smell) and that I had nothing to worry about. Decided that since it was there I would get the rear brake pads replaced and resurfaced. Stops like new They also said that the gas gauge in the older Camrys would often move around like crazy at the slightest suggestion of inclination so my refueling it all the time was unnecessary. Relieving to hear.
Camry :: 2002 Toyota - Gas Smell In Cabin When AC Turned On
I just got some work done on my Camry (CEL P0440 and P0446). The lights have been taken care of after the Charcoal Canister and hoses above the gas tank were replaced. Since then, I've noticed that I'm getting a gas smell in the cabin when the AC is turned on and when I turn the AC off and roll the windows down. No CEL is on, and I was able to pass emissions.

I have a 2001 Toyota Avalon with 139,000 miles and runs excellent. I recently just got an oil change and it smells like something is burning. More of like a burning rubber smell. I know my car does not have an oil leak but what else could it be. I plan to take it out of town very soon. Should I not take it anymore? Also, when my A/C is on and I'm sitting idle it sounds like my car wants to turn off every time the the a/c kicks on but it doesn't. My RPM'S are fine. (600-700).

I drive a 2007 Toyota 4Runner. Recently the weather has been nice enough to drive with the windows open. I've noticed a very strong ammonia smell from the exhaust - so strong at times, that I have to roll up the windows and use the a/c. I use Shell gas with no ethanol, but it has a nitrogen additive. Is it the gas I'm using, or is there something wrong with the vehicle? It's definitely ammonia, and I can only smell it while I'm driving.

I recently (about 2 months ago) purchased a '04 Prius with 122k miles on it and it now had 124k. The only problem that it seems to have it a sporadic P0420 cel that come on and off every once in a while (even while on the same tank of gas); I always make sure the gas cap is on tight. On my last fill-up I got about 50mpg, so nothing seems out of the ordinary.
