Golf V R32 :: Front Side Markers Suppose To Light Up?
Just got my R32, used. I noticed that the previous owner had replaced the front side markers with clear ones. I checked that there are no bulbs inside, and they don't light up. Are they suppose to light up?

Gen III base model. I think i read somewhere from the manual saying that the dome light suppose to shut off automatically after 20 minutes. But not in my case. My kids always left the dome light on and I checked one hour later it was still on. Or must be swtich off manually?

I have a 2007 Toyota camry and my stereo will not go to Aux. Before going to pay a ridiculous amount I want to try to work it out myself. So far the forums I've read have been because of bad ipod cable or cables not plugged in all the way. I've checked to see if the back is plugged in to the stereo and it is, tried new cables with ipod. I know its not the cable im using and ipod because I tried it on my brothers car and it works fine. something on my stereo.

My 2011 Toyota Camry LE doesn't have a GPS system. I want to buy a portable, 3rd party GPS system. I have heard that my car has Bluetooth capability, although I'm not certain this is true. I have the following questions:
1. Does my car really have Bluetooth capability?
2. Is Bluetooth the only relevant technology for my needs?
3. Do I plug the GPS unit into the car's data port? Where IS the car's data port?
4. Do I need a GPS service provider?
5. What about a power source - do these things run on batteries, or can I plug it into the thing that used to be for the cigarette lighter?
6. Are these 3rd party products reliable?
7. Could I get the kind of GPS unit that actually talks to you inexpensively?
8. Is there anything else I need to know about 3rd party GPS systems?

How to lock the trunk on the Camry? I used to be able to lock the trunk with the main key, and give the valet guy just the valet key. No I cant seem to find the lock on the trunk.

Haven't tried that fix yet. I was wondering if there anything else I could consider, due maybe to disconnecting the battery causing computer problems or something like that?
So I decided to run it for a while, thinking maybe the computer needed some more data. Idling about 100, but driving OK (around the block) but definitely not right.
Then the check engine light came on; I need to pull the code of course but need to borrow a code reader.....
Camry :: 2004 Toyota XLE Low Idle When AC On
I have a 2004 Toyota Camry XLE with the 2.4 Engine. When I am driving the car it runs fine. When I stop the Idle goes way down if the AC is Running. What could be causing this problem?

I have a 96 camry that has a minor oil leak. I have taken it in to get checked, and the mechanic told us that as long as I'm willing to keep putting oil in it every month, I don't have to fix anything. However, lately the car has been making a burning smell, especially when I turn on the heater, and when the car is low on oil. Also, my oil cap has some yellow gunk on it. I'm concerned that this means water is mixing with my oil.

After driving our 2015 Camry XSE for the last year, we feel the suspension is too stiff. I guess it is for the "sport" crowd, but we do not like feeling bumps on 3 to 5-hour road trips. What is the best approach to softening the suspension? The dealer says they can put in suspension components from the XLE for a couple grand. What should I focus on to soften the ride, shocks, struts, springs?

I have a 1995 Toyota Camry that has 214,000 miles on it. In the past month the car when accelerating seems to sputter and act like its going to stall but it never does. The problem only happened when I was accelerating at low speeds or stopped at lights but recently the problem has been happening at higher speeds especially when going up hill. A few hours ago my friend was getting off the interstate driving a 99' Toyota Camry. She went to use the brakes and they had no effect. They did not go all the way to the floor and she says there was a lack of pressure/resistance , then a grabbing feeling before the floor but no effect and no sounds. She had to use the emergency brake. It was 14 degrees last night and above 32 today. The brakes worked from the house to the interstate, then did not.It has been towed and so far the mechanics say they can't find anything wrong.

This is Toyota Camry 98 with V6 3.0 engine.After smelling burnt oil while driving (mostly during stops, to be more precise), I took the car to Toyota service mechanics. They found leaks in both valve cover gaskets, and a leak from behind the timing belt cover. The leaks from valve covers were dripping onto exhaust, causing the burning smell.
The total repair cost is quoted at around $2k ($700 for valve covers and $1300 for what is behind the timing belt assembly).
Is it worth doing ? My worry is that, since 3 separate seals are failing, it is likely that other seals will start failing soon.Should the whole engine be rebuilt instead ?
Toyota - Camry :: No Click / Car Would Not Start
Strange things happened to my 1994 Camry.
1) Car would not start - no click, engine would not turn over. But I noticed some low voltage interior lights still on.
2) Jumped it. Started right up.
3) Took it on the road to charge the battery.
4) ABS light cycled on and off.
5) Felt like the timing was being cut back from 1500 to 1200 rpm. Could not go over 20 MPH.
6) Was able to drive it about 1/4 mile, but the car died while moving - fortunately coasted back into my garage.
7) Went out to jump again later, same symptoms. 8
8) An hour later, tried to start without a jump, and it started! No ABS warning light.
9) Replaced battery and checked ground. Battery was toast, alternator fine, ground ok.
No symptoms since, other that several dash lights no longer working. What happened? What was wrong? Is it fixed for good?

The 98 camry squeals when started with the ac on. I think it is the ac belt. Does that mean the compressor is bad or the belt isn't tight enough. Also the car idles roughly and at low rpms. 500 rpm namely. Sometimes on rare occasions, the car will die when put into drive. I want to pass smog but i don't know if it is going to! i cleaned the throttle body, no change to the idle, is my throttle maladjusted.

I have a 99 Camry 4 cyl, 146k miles. I change the oil every three months since I never hit 3k miles in that time. I noticed that when I drain the old oil only about one quart comes out so I've started adding a quart between changes when it starts getting low. I haven't seen any oil spots in the driveway or smoke from the tail pipe. I know there could be other reasons for losing oil, is there possibly something wrong that's worth fixing or is it just older and high mileage and I should expect to have to add oil?

So my friend was driving her car and the sunroof won't close. When it gets to the end of the track, it opens itself back up again. We found a piece sitting on the right-hand track but don't see anyplace where it would fit. It's Saturday pm on a holiday weekend and no place is open.
