Touareg :: Seat Position Memory Gone

I've noticed over the last few days that my seat position memory is gone. I thought maybe it was because i was using a different key, but that is not the case. I tried resetting buttons 1, 2, and 3, and neither set my seat to the position i specified. Button 1 is the only one that works, but it puts the seat all the way forward. Is my comfort module shot??? brand new car.

Lexus GX 2010+ :: How Passenger Seat Position Can Be Saved To Memory

I picked up our ("our" means my wifes) GX last Friday. I'm a sports car and sports sedan guy. But I love buying vehicles, and I a huge car nut. It's a heck of a nice Luxury SUV with a lot of nice features.

One question so far. The web site specifically says the passenger seat position can be saved to the memory, but for the life of me I don't see how. Can it?

Every time, I move the chair back or recline the back, in intermittently beeped every 1-2 seconds. It does not beep if I move the chair forward. Could it be the fuse? or what could be wrong?

Golf VI R :: 2012 - Driver Seat Won't Hold The Position Of The Back?

I have a 2012 2-door R with sunroof and navigation. Almost from the very beginning the driver's seat had a problem. It would not hold the position of the back. It would slowly keep going back. Over a couple of days of driving (less than 2 hours per day) I would have to adjust the back about a 1/4 turn of the wheel to get it back to the original position. I have taken it back to the dealer twice for this and they could not find anything obvious.

They said that they would need to take the seat apart in order to figure it out. According to them I am the first one with this issue they have heard of. I am debating if I should keep adjusting it every couple of days, or take the chance and let them take it apart, hoping that there will be no collateral damage in the process. How easy/difficult it is to get to the guts of the seat?

Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: Instrument Cluster Memory Function Quit Working

Have a '13 F150 Platinum. Recently three things "broke" at the same time and I suspect a fuse but cannot locate the right one. At first I thought it was just the GD Opener, but when trying to reprogram it, I realized the red lights were not lighting up and the Drivers side Vanity Mirror light was not working.

About the same time, I noticed that the Instrument Cluster Memory function quit working and weirdly, every time the truck is switched off and then back on, it always comes back to the trailer tow screen for my Snowmobile trailer.

I thought i had it solved when I found that the trailer back-up lamp relay power fuse ( #43 in fusebox under hood) was blown. I replaced with a good 15 amp fuse and the problems are still there. I have searched high and low and cannot find a fuse for the Car2u GD Opener or the Driver Vanity Mirror Light (neither Vanity light for that matter. I tested all under hood fuses, but the kick panel fuses are impossible to check one-by-one.

Toyota - Sienna :: 2005 - 3rd Row Seat Stuck In Up Position

The larger (60) side of my 2005 Sienna's third row seat is stuck in the "up" position. That is: the seat back will fold down, but the seat will not release from the floor in order to fold down into the well at the back of the vehicle.

The pull tab on the back of the seat that releases it moves in and out too easily. I viewed the mechanism under the seat and it appears that the pull tab is linked to a cable which rotates an armature, which in turn pulls one cable for each leg of the seat to release it. It looks like the cable connected to the pull tab is properly rotating the armature, but the legs aren't releasing. I can't tell for sure but it seems like the armature is rotated into the "release" position but it hasn't released the legs. I've crawled under the seat and tried my best to rotate the armature with my hands and a pair of pliers to no avail.

I was thinking my next step would be to try to rotate the armature with a little gentle persuasion (e.g. a hammer and a screwdriver or piece of wood).

Toyota - Avalon :: Radiator Fluid Not Being Going Back Into Engine When It Cools

99 Toyota Avalon, 3.6 L engine, 160k milesThe engine sends radiator fluid to the overflow reservoir but doesn't suck it back into the engine when it cools. My mechanic replaced the radiator, cap, and hoses...no change. So. he put a chemical in the radiator fluid that is supposed to form a plug to stop a leak. After ~5 months of waiting, still no plug...no change. Tomorrow, I'm bring it back to him. If he says it needs a new head gasket, do you agree? If so, what would be a reasonable cost? Also, this timing belt has 68,000 miles on, do you think I should have him replace it, too (since he is doing work on the engine)?Do you think I am foolish to put the cost of repairs into this vehicle? The rest of the vehicle is good. We've had it since 2000 and have kept up with maintenance and services.
