Santa Fe (DM - 2013+) :: Passenger Side Windows Not Rolling Down
This is a 2013 Santa Fe Sport. This started as intermittent, but the windows for passenger side have stopped responding to the switches. I can hear the relay in each of the windows click when we hit the buttons but the motor doesn't engage. Sadly I couldn't reproduce before the 60k warranty went up and they won't cover it. They have said its the master control switch, but I don't believe that being that I can hear the individual relays engage on each of the windows when the buttons are pressed. They want $500 to do the master control switch.

I have a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder and the front windows keep going down when the engine is off. It first happened two days ago and then last night as I removed the key from the ignition I would hear clicks like the turn signal and then the windows would just go down. I had to restart the car to roll back up. This happened for almost an hour until I could get the battery disconnected. I originally thought it was the keychain because it wasn't working and then the lights would flash and then windows would go down. We've had alot of rain in south Florida. Could this be the problem? If its electrical, is this an expensive problem?

Occasionally and randomly, my front two windows will lower themselves. Most of the time... all the way. But sometimes only half way. Both windows lower at the same time to the same degree. This happens only when parked and unattended, not when the engine is running or someone is in the car. It has happened in parking lots (outside) and also in my own locked garage with no one around. Sometimes the car is locked and sometimes (in my garage) it is unlocked. My Nissan dealer has no idea what is causing this nor how to correct it.

I've searched the inter tubes, trying to find out if there is a fuse or relay or even circuit breaker that needs replacing. From all I've checked, I can't find a fuse, relay or circuit breaker labeled to control window and door locks.all 4 windows don't work (with exception to front passenger window occasionally goes down but not up.)finally figured i should have come to this fine forum first! (especially after hearing 'car talk' today)some other pages with similar questions had answers referring to fuse #12 or relay F (mine aren't identified that way). The windows/moonroof wont open when using the fob. I unsuccessfully tried pressing and holding multiple button combos. with every other car I've had. I just had to hold down the unlock button or press it a few time.

Prius 2013. After I power off the car with the Power button there appears to be a little bit of time during which I can push the window buttons and get the windows to close. Maybe five or ten seconds. If after that short period I notice that the windows are open I have to push the Power button twice to get to a state where to use the window buttons to close the windows. Is there any way to extend that time to a longer setting?

When I drive with windows down I can hear a whirring from the motor. Its like if it is low on power steering fluid. Its not constant with RPM. I am pretty sure the steering is electric but WTH can it be? I am dreading winter cause I will have windows down all the time then and I will have to crank the stereo to block it out.

Whenever I turn the wheel there is a ticking that seems to be coming from the front wheels. You can only hear it with the windows down and going slower than 10 mph. The rate of ticks seem to speed up or slow down depending on how fast I am going around a corner. I don't have a lift at my disposal and don't particularly love going to the dealership.

I've a Venture 98' & lately I noticed that there are times when I can't close the passenger's side window from both sides. I can open it from both sides but the problem is closing it. Then there would be occasions that it's working ok. But it seems to be getting worse lately.

So I noticed some pretty extreme fogginess and internal condensation on my windows the past few days (spring has sprung, but we have had some colder days in SE Pennsylvania). Then after taking a bag out of my passenger side floor I noticed it was soaking wet. Couldn't figure it out until I saw that my passenger side carpet was soaked.
It can't be a leak from the windshield or above because only the bottom part of the bag that was touching the floor was soaked.
We did have a pretty rainy day about 2 days ago, and I did use my AC for the first time in a while as well in the past few days so not sure if it's an AC tube problem or seal and drainage problem somehow.
Passat (B5) :: Front Passenger And Back Driver Side Windows Won't Go Down At All
I have a 2001 vw passat v6. The drivers side window works when it wants to, the front passenger and the back drivers side windows wont go down at all and the passenger back window works only when the front drivers window does. The switches are lit up with the windows that don't work..like there is no power going to them. The power locks do the same..with the same problem windows. It has an after market car alarm, so could that be the problem.

my 2006 f150 fx4 super crew power windows wont go down on the passenger sides. The driver side works fine. i went the owners manual and changed our the fuse in the fuse box and same thing still. just to make sure, i put the fuse and tried the driver side and it did not go down. what could it be? should i just take to one of the local mechanics and have them look at it?
