Lexus SC300 :: 1993 - Sharp Metal Contact In The Left Rear When Suspension Begins To Load
I have a 1993 Lexus SC 300 and have met all maint milestones. Recently had both rear shocks replaced and am getting a SHARP metal contact in the left rear when the suspension begins to load. Mechanic spent afternoon looking in shock mount, trunk, spare, jack, spare and antenna mast-can't find it. New tires. New rear brakes-told me that was it. Still there.

Have a 2007 LS460L. Recently, I notice when I start the engine, it would start and then, in a fraction of a second, it will shut off. I then have to start over again. This is happening too frequently to be something I'm doing wrong.
Took it to the local Lexus dealership and they could not reproduce it, but told me they have had similar complaints from other owners, including other models as well, with keyless starters.
Lexus ES 2007-12 :: Have To Disconnect Battery To Shut Off The Engine
My 2007 lexus es 350 engine will not shut off after I push the off button.
The everything goes off except the engine and the dash lights. I have to disconnect the battery to shut off the engine. The car does not have a remote start. could it be a relay and if so which one.
Last night I left the car battery disconnected and then this morning reattached and everything seemed fine. I started the car and let it fun for a couple minutes and then pushed the button and the car shut off. Then about 2o minutes later the alarm went off. The remote would not respond so I started the car and the alarm went off. Then I pushed the button to turn it off and the same problem occurred.

I am a proud owner of a 2008 gx 470. So far I absolutely love the truck! How to get the "engine immobilizer" light to stop blinking. The other night my battery died. While waiting for a friend to come give me a jump, I noticed the car emblem with a key in it started to blink. After a successful jump, the engine immobilizer is still blinking only when I shut off the car. How I can stop it?

I started my car this morning around 12:00pm (noon) for the first time of the day. It's about 21 degrees outside and very windy. My engine started but it really sounded like a jackhammer and was shaking. It ran for maybe 15 seconds then I shut it off. Started it back up again with my phone ready to record and it happened again.
Went back inside to call roadside assistance to bring it to a service center. Went back out to move it in the street while in neutral. Got it into place and attempted to start it again, it started and drove normally.
I'm still bringing it to Lexus on Monday so my issue can be documented especially since I have it on video.
Please check the video (more for the sound). I'm thinking it was just due to the really cold weather? Everyone kept saying with such confidence that it's the battery. I hardly think this is a battery issue.

Are we able to recalibrate our speedometers. Mine is about 5mph off. And can we shut off our TPMS? I remember 10 yrs ago I was able to in my old 745.

I heard noises like a small pump noise and a hissing air sound above the muffler area. The car had been sitting for hours and no key fob close to it. I was climbing under it looking at something else when I heard it. Sounds like a tiny electric motor running with an air hiss. Passenger side. Just bought the vehicle last week. The CHECK VSC light and traction light came on in my vehicle. I called the dealership, made first available appointment, and asked if car was okay to drive. The service man said "Yes, as long as the signals are not flashing" so I made my trip to Walmart and five miles from the house the car shut itself off, in like a stall mode with no power. Additionally, smoke was coming out from right side of hood. A gentleman stopped and said "you're overheated..." All gauges appeared normal but the battery light came on. Tow company took to dealership but I am petrified of what I have read and thinking the engine is fried!!!! I can't sleep because I'm worried of thousands of dollars of damage. While driving to work this morning driving about 25 MPH and increasing speed gradually in traffic the lane I was traveling came to a sudden stop, I slammed on the brakes, ABS took over and I steered around the stopped lane of traffic with no issue. Here comes the problem, I never stopped rolling and traffic was coming up behind me in the lane that I just went in to and I stepped on the gas pedal and got nothing, truck was running, no lights or warnings just a dead gas pedal. This only lasted maybe 5 seconds and then it went but it was totally dead no matter how hard I stepped on the gas and vehicles were beeping at me from behind me. It finally went (5 seconds seems awful long when cars are approaching fast from behind) and it drove fine from there on. I guess I plan on trying to recreate this issue but thought maybe there is something with these trucks that caused this that I don't know about?

Ok, I been through 2 Lexus dealerships and they wont shut off the gosh darn seatbelt beeping noise this car is driving me crazy. I always wear my seatbelt but not when I hop into and drive out of my driveway.
My question is just like how BMW has there's is there a computer program where you buy a usb of some sort and plug it into your computer to shut it off yourself? It's those machines that let you check engine RPM's and what your car is doing and such.
