Dodge - Caravan :: Interior Lights Stopped Working When Doors Opened And Keyless Entry Activated
I have a 1995 Dodge Caravan le which is in perfect condition throughout. But recently the interior lights stopped working when the doors are opened and when the keyless entry thing is activated. The overhead lights do work when manually pressed but the dashboard switch that is supposed to turn them on when in the far right position doesn't do anything. If I hold the drivers door open and push in the activation button on the door jam, I can hear the relay clicking but nothing happens. My mechanic said he thinks it might be a bad computer part and will replace it but didn't really want to. I can't find a fuse for the interior lights so don?

I have a 2015 Somata ECO, while backing out of the drive the mailman came so I stopped (car running) closed the door went got the mail returned to the car and the doors automatically locked. This is not the first time this has happened, lucky I was at home and went inside to get the other key. What did I do wrong or how can i prevent this from happening again?

'98 Regal LS. The car was parked with the engine running, and the doors locked spontaneously. Starting then, noticed that the fuel gauge and coolant temp gauge were pegged out.

I can't find an explanation for this but I dropped the car off to have windows tinted.
This AM I picked the car up and when I press the lock button, the doors DO lock but there is no longer a chime and the lights dont flash.
I've gone into settings and made sure that that setting is turned on and it appears fine but it still doesn't work like it did yesterday.
FWIW - the chime does sound for UNLOCK, just not lock.

2001 Dakota: With the Ignition "ON" (engine running or not)any lights that are ON blink off and on. if the Ignition switch is in the "OFF" or "accessories" positions they work normally. It can be just the dome lights, the Park lights or all of the lights. It some times takes 10 to 15 minutes for this to begin, but once it starts, it is continuous. I have checked the switches, the relays, and every connection I can find. I unplugged the connector from the dash to the chassis and it stopped. I ASSume that means it is probably not the "Central Timing Module," otherwise the problem would continue. I don't know what could be in that circuit that would overload the system only with the Ignition ON.

Blower, seats, locks, blinkers stopped simultaneously, abs and airbag light came on. The internet suggested it was the ignition switch, I changed it to no avail. My friend (yes, really, a friend, not me) parked her 2004 Dodge Caravan in the driveway the evening before. The next morning it would not start. No crank, no grind, no click, and no dash lights, nada, nothing. She took it to the shop she's taken the car to for years for repair and maintenance. She trusts them. They've replaced the battery and run a full diagnostic on it, but are unable to solve the problem. The shop is telling them her it could run into the thousands just to figure out the problem. I have a 2005 Dodge Caravan, modified for use for someone in a wheelchair. On two occasions now I have been driving and have lost ALL power, including all dashboard lights, signals, power steering and power brakes. Luckily both times I was able to pull over without much problem (aside from problems steering and having to mash really hard on the brakes). Turned off the motor, restarted, and everything seemed fine. The first time this happened I took it to my mechanic who said he was unable to duplicate the problem. The second time this happened (yesterday) was after a severe rainstorm. I can't remember what the weather was like the first time it happened.

I have a 2005 Excursion V10 4WD Eddie Bauer edition. Within the past month I have noticed that the interior dome lights and running board lights don't always come on when I open the doors. The dimmer switch is set to the highest level without being turned on and all of the dashboard lights work. I turn the dimmer switch on and sometimes the interior lights work and sometimes they don't. The door switch seems to be in good shape as well. If I turn the dome lights on individually they work so I know that there is not a problem with the bulbs. Where I can look for the problem?

Ford Wiring/Electrical :: 2000 F250 - Dash / Parking And Tail Running Lights Not Working
I have a 2000 Ford F250 lariat 7.3 .... This vehicle has an aftermarket double din stereo pillar gauges for Pyro meter and transmission temp and has also had a snowplow attached but since re moved since I purchased it. It also has H ID headlights, which are run by the passenger side headlight connection.
The problem I'm having is that whenever I turn on the parking lights it is blowing the number eight fuse under the hood. Which is giving me no dash lights running lights parking lights or taillights. Initially the fuse would last for a few minutes and then burn out. I should also add that the trailer wiring harness doesn't work either and the driver side headlight will work sporadically.

I have a 2006 F350 CCLB FX4. Is there a way to allow the running/parking lights to come on when I open the door like my dad's 2012? I don't have any roof/clearance lights yet, I'm a little on the fence about drilling holes in my roof but it seems the truck should have them, especially being an F350.
