Avalon 2005-12 :: Tire Pressure Warning Symbol Just Displayed - Reset Switch Missing?
My tire pressure warning symbol just displayed - steady - so I aired up the tires -winter here -. The Quick Reference guide says /shows a reset switch located to the left of steering wheel . I can't seem to locate this. I have an '11 LTD but without navigation. Did they omit this switch on some models, or do I need a bigger flashlight ?

I finally got my Treg back from Montana today, on the drive back to WA, several times I get the message "tire pressure warning temporarily unavailable" or something along those lines.
Also, the VW shop in MT, only fixed the steering/suspension issues, they temp fixed the door so I could drive back to WA, I have an OffRoad Grey Treg with a purple mirror from some car, and a plexiglass window caulked in, hopefully it will go to the bodyshop tomorrow.
700 mile drive, 4 hours of which were through snow, the touareg was as surefooted as a mountain goat.
Touareg :: MFI Tire Pressure Warning Every Time On Startup
The Tire Pressure Warning went off every time I started the car. Checked pressure, no problems. I told the dealer, and he said that if you park next to another Treg, it can cause problems. I guess that the tire sensors are wireless and the interfere w/ each other.

OK, so I started the T and got the low tire pressure warning. I began to cycle through the MFI to see which tire was low and poof! I was in the convenience setup sub-menu. Now that's all I get. No other menus. I've tried everything I can and it seems to stay that way. been about a week now.

My tire pressure monitor is acting funky again in cold weather. For the past few days when the weather is around 30s i get flat tyre warning when i first start my car. then after drive for about 5 minutes, it goes away. Seems like once the tire warms up the warning disappeared.
I have standard 18" wheels... currently the tire reading from the MFI is 34 front 37 back. I remember i had them set in the summer for 37 front and 42 back. Should I put more air in? is that why?

At what low pressure the tire low symbol will turn on? This morning was coldest day of year and it would not go off. Any way to look at each sensor's reading? Car is a 2013 Accent SE.

I have about 1K miles on new steel springs V8 Touareg. In my dash, I have a yellow symbol that looks like a "slippery when wet" street warning sign....(minimally outlined body of T'reg with 2 squiggly lines under it), exactly in the spot for the ESP warning light (this is NOT a triangle with an open at the bottom circle around it). The symbol stays lit. I get nothing when I press my ESP button, other than it says ESP OFF. It suddenly came on this morning.
I looked through the whole manual. Nothing actually shows the console area that matches mine. The only console pictures are of the air=springs equipped models.
Nothing in the manual explains this exact symbol either.
Touareg :: Yellow Warning Light With Key Symbol Appeared
A yellow key symbol appeared atop the speedometer. I searched the manual and found no reference to this. I assume this to mean the battery may be low in my key fob. Am I correct or does this mean something else?

The tire pressure warning light has been on in my car for about a week. The dashboard computer says that the tire pressure in the front right tire is 17 psi, but when I use the pressure gauge, the reading is almost 40 psi. Is this something I should be concerned about? A couple days ago my tire pressure warning came on. I checked the manual to see if there was a way for the MFD to tell you which tire is low. I couldn't find anything. Do I have to go around and check each tire for the proper pressure? If the car knows the pressure is low shouldn't it know which one? Also I'm wondering after only a couple months of ownership why my tire/s are low on air.

I had this warning come on a couple of days ago on my 2008 VR6 with 46k miles on it. I wasn't surprised since the temperatures have finally dropped in Wisconsin and the car has not been driven much in the last month. I checked all the tires and they were at 30 PSI so I pumped them all up to 35 PSI, but the warning won't clear. The last time this happened a ride around the block cleared the warning.

About a week ago my tire pressure light came on indicating that my tire pressures were low, I checked all 4 immediately and they were all around 35psi so I figured the light would correct itself after a little while. Fast forward a week it's still on, I tried clearing the code with vagcom, but it comes back immediately after it is cleared.
I'm assuming the warning threshold is bogus, how can I reset it?

Last night after I got off of work I fired up the car and the Low Tire Pressure Warning light lit up accompanied by a chime sound. I checked the tires they were fine. I stopped by a gas station with bright lighting and the tires looked fine. I checked them again in the garage when I got home and they were fine. Why did this light come on? How do I turn it off? 2012 Golf TDI... No tpms? I just got back from a road trip and noticed I have a flat and most likely drove on it for an hour. I thought the car came with a tpms system. I checked the glove box and there is no reset button (which I read should be there if you have the new tpms system that works with the abs system). I have the Canadian Highline 2012 Golf. I read through the manual and didn't find anything about tpms. Does this come with the GTI only?
