Lexus SC430 :: Driver Side Door Not Closing When Window Is Up
I guess the roof needs adjustment since my driver side door won't close if the window is up all the way.
Checked the roof and found there is a larger gap on the passenger side than on the driver side. That causes the unevenness of the roof, I think.
Chrysler - 300M :: Driver Side Window Shattered Into Pieces When Closing The Door?
I have a 2000 Chrysler 300M. Recently I got in the car and shut the door normally, not a hard slam or anything, and the driver side window just shattered to pieces. After having the glass replaced I had my mechanic check out the window regulator thinking that may have have been loose or in some way caused the glass to break. It checked out fine, no problem with the mechanism could be found. I've been using the window since then for about 3 months with no problems. What could have caused this window to crumble?

Is it me or rattles are common thing in Tiguans? I can hear at least 3-4 different rattles when the radio is off. I eliminated one by pulling iPod interface unit out and applying some felt pieces around.
It is now snug and quiet. I still hear one coming from the front passenger door, one or two from the back seat and possibly one more from the trunk area. There is also a faint buzzing noise when I apply gas, it sound like a loose or rattling heat shield or something (can't pinpoint that one).
I also wanted to ask how to remove a door panel, I'd like to take a peak in it to see if I can find the culprit myself before I get "problem can not be replicated" from the dealer.
Tiguan :: 2012 - Rattles Over Rough Pavement
I have a 2012 Tig S. I hear a rattle coming from under dash by steering wheel. It happens over rough pavement. Had it at the dealer, they replaced the sway bar linkage. The noise is still there. Service rep. says its normal. I drove another new Tig and it felt tight. I only have 12000 miles on it. Really like my Tig.

I drove and opened the windows. I came to a stop and tried to close the windows but passenger window wont go up. the lights radio speedometer and everything work but windows still wont go up. i tried the switch on the passenger door also. no luck.
I accidentally pressed the window lock.

Passat B6: i'm having problem with my front passenger window. When i flick (not pull hard) the window button to close window, it rolls down instead and then the "One-Touch" Feature stops working.... At least until i turn off and back on the car.

Just purchased a 2013 Lexus GS 350 Luxury with 22,000 miles. I took it to Lexus service for a recall and the rear window shade was not closing on one side. Service declined to cover it under warranty because they claim it was broke by a child or person. I purchased the GS 350 at Manheim using me dealer friends incense. I have a 2010 F150 Lariat Super Crew. The rear sliding window does not completely close. I have read a few posts about lubricating the cable and tapping the window motor. I have leather seats with the rear arm rest, but cannot locate the window motor. I have lubricated the cable, on both sides while someone opened and closed the window.

Golf/GTI VII :: Car Cause More Rattles In Resolving The Window Dilemma
Im tentative to take the gti into service for a window rattle/rub because I know they will pull everything off the door and cause more rattles in resolving the window issue.
However, the issue is when the windows are all the way up or almost all the way up there is this "rubbing" noise, not really a rattle, coming from the top corner of the windows.
Its almost like they are forcing themselves up to far and creaking over every bump in the road. Its loud enough (and close enough to my ears) that its pretty damn annoying.

Ok on my 07 camry se, my right front passenger window rattles when in the up position. I noticed after the car has been sitting for awhile, that it's quiet but when I decide to open the window and then close it it starts to rattle. I notice there was a rattle coming from driver's side near the door/window while I was driving in uneven NYC road going about 30mph. I would not have noticed it had I not been on hold while speaking to someone over bluetooth.
After spending few hours trying to figure out where the rattle is coming from, I have found out it's indeed driver's window. If I just open the window tiny bit, the rattle will go away.

2000 Camry XLE. Driver's el.window quits on way up, but will start again if I wait for one or more minutes before retrying. The longer I wait, the farther up it will go. Not fun at toll booths on rainy days. Started a few month ago when I forgot to close windows and the controls got rained on. Initially, a blast of WD40 seemed to cure the problem, but no longer. Took arm rest controls out, but couldn't see any obvious problems. Is this an aging motor problem? Do I have to get ripped off by dealership serv. dept., or can any reputable garage do it? I'm worried about taking the whole panel off myself. Don't have the tools to do so, and don't want to rip "leather."

I have a 2006 Saturn Vue and if drive with the sunroof open and the driver side window open I get periodic thumps or knocks from below the front seats or the dashboard (not really sure where it is coming from).
If I open additional windows or close the driver side window it goes away. I am sure it is an air flow issue.
Camry 2012+ :: Loose Driver Side Window - It Rattles When Driving Over Small Bumps
I noticed my 2014.5 camry has a loose driver's window. When rolled down between 2 to 6 inches, it rattles when driving over small bumps If I actually feel the window, it moves about 1/8 inch to the sides when open 2 to 6 inches. I mentioned this at my one year service. The tech showed me other 14.5 SE's they had the same problem only on the driver's window. He said the dealers can't do anything about it because it is how Toyota designed the cars.

Every time I get out of my 2012 prius and close the door with the key in my pocket, engine running, i get three exterior beeps. if i then open and close any other door while outside the car, i get three more beeps. i can imagine this is toyota's way of reminding me that the car is running and key is not inside. is there a way to disable this annoyance, either myself or at the dealership?
