Sonata I45 (YF - 2011+) :: Shift Interlock Failing And Rattling Noise From Engine Bay
2011 Sonata. I just started hearing, and feeling as well, a clicking noise from the shift lever while in drive. I understand this is the interlock feature, however, I do not recall feeling this before. I also thought it only activated while in park, but I could be wrong. Is this normal?
I also am noticing a loud rattling noise coming from the engine bay, behind the speedo, under certain conditions. If I use light throttle, the 1-2 shift produces a loud rattling near 1900rpm.
Elantra GD (2013+) :: Phone Doesn't Connect On Its Own
My Galaxy S3 would auto connect every time I got in the car; good thing since it was in a holster on my belt. Now I have a Galaxy Note 3 and it's paired to the Elantra but it doesn't connect on it's own. You have to touch "Elantra paired" then it says "connecting" and does. I don't see any settings on the phone that are different. I don't like to have to take it off my belt then out of the holster and manually connect every time.

I had to replace my 12 volt battery a few weeks ago. I'm also having issues with my samsung galaxy s4. For the last 2 to 3 weeks the phone in the car won't connect and the bluetooth is not working. Is it the car or is it the phone? If I uninstall the phone and reinstall it does connect but there's no guarantee that it will the next time.
View 5 RepliesSonata I45 (YF - 2011+) :: While Connecting Phone Or USB With Bluetooth Can't Control Audio
I just purchased a 2012 Hyundai Sonata GLS certified pre-owned. When I connect my phone the car, an iPhone 4S, the Bluetooth does not allow me to control the audio on the Hyundai Sonata.
Also when I connect my iPhone via a standard USB cable, it does not allow me to pause the music. Whenever I pause the music on my phone it stops for a second and then keeps playing. When I am connected via USB, I am able to control song advancement. I am just trying to find out if this is normal for this car?
Gen 3 Prius (Audio/Electronics) :: Nav Displays Talking, Won't Connect Phone
So all I wanted to do once I got my new Prius was set up the bluetooth. What a nightmare! Got the phone to recognize the car. Tried to upload the phone bock from my blackberry and all I got was a display saying "talking" . I waited and waited and gave up after 15 mins as I only have 50 names in the book. Now the radio isn't on when because this stupid "Talking" is on all the time. When I verbally dialed a number I tried with the 1 at the start, then without, but the area code and then no area code, and still no dial....
I have had the car 5 hours and if I could pick it up and throw it I would.
Gen 3 Prius (Audio/Electronics) :: Bluetooth Phone Will Pair But Not Connect
We have a 2010 IV and a 2012 pip. My Android phone will pair and connect with the 2010. It pairs with the 2012, but the 2012 will then say "Connect Failed" when my phone is selected. My wife has an iPhone which pairs and connects to both cars. My phone uses Bluetooth 4.0 profiles. And after pairing I've limited it to telephone audio only. I've deleted and repaired countless times with the same result.

I noticed last night that my phone wasn't charging when plugged into the port under the dash. I tried the port in the arm rest and it too wasn't supplying power. The USB port did charge, however; so it's a limited issue, but one that will require a service call. My Prius is only two months old...

It just came apart. I tried for so long trying to put it back in, but to no avail. Here's the picture on Imgur: [URL] ....

Recharging the A/C on a 2006 Hyundai Sonata GLS.
I think I have a slow leak, so I bought a DIY and was going to recharge it and see if that fixes it. Where exactly is the low pressure port so I can charge it?
Is it complicated to do? Looking for a picture of the location?
Sonata NF (2006-10) :: Charging Port To Stay On All The Time When Car Turned Off
I was wondering if there was a way to have the charging port to stay on all the time when the car is cut off. When i leave my phone in the car charging, the charging port cuts off and my phone is dead when I come back in the car. If there is a way, how to do it.

View 2 RepliesFord Super Duty (1999-2016) :: 2011 F250 - CEL On - CAT Converter Failing At 39k Miles?
Recently my 2011 f250 sd 6.2s check engine light came on so I took it to my local dealer it was throwing a p0430 code, they said bank 2 cat converter wasn't do it's job so it needed to be replaced. I am concerned that there is an underlying cause of the premature cat fail. I pushed the issue with the service manager and he told me that's all they could do was replace the cat and refused to check anything else on the truck. Is this common? The truck runs and drives fine. I'm just concerned that they are just throwing parts at it to get it out the door.

I just replaced my OEM battery with a duralast from autozone. The battery had 138,000 miles. Shortly after, the check engine light came on and code says P0106. Map Sensor. Seems like to much of coincidence that this happened. Have read that disconnecting battery cables for 3 hours may do the trick.
View 8 RepliesSonata I45 (YF - 2011+) :: A/C Will Not Come On
THis is about the 5th or 6th time in the past year (2X in past 2 weeks) that the A/C will not come on. Two times took to Dealer & it worked just fine. Ir worked when I drove it, then parked it for 2 hours, and then it wouldn't work. Parked it, and then it worked fine again.
Dealer has no knowledge of this being an issue.
Similarly, my iPhone does not connect on an intermittent basis - again, always connects when at dealer.
Golf IV R32 :: DEQ Can't Connect To ECU Of Car
So picked my .:R up last week from out of state. Go to register it yesterday and find out DEQ can't connect to the car's ECU. So then I took it to my local VW shop and the owner couldn't get the car to connect using VCDS. My immediate thought is, I wonder if he swapped the stereo at one point OR a fuse was blown. Contacted the previous owner and he told me he never messed with the radio on the car, he left it stock (just like the rest of the car - in immaculate condition) and that he had plugged it in last summer and it worked fine then - the last time he used the OBDII port. Today after work I get home and checked every fuse on the drivers side panel of the dash, by pulling each one out and inspecting. Every fuse was good, not one blown fuse.
Still I'm having issues connecting to the ECU... not linked to the K-wire? My buddy and I pulled the deck out on Monday night, and the previous owner had the OEM 30-pin ipod interface installed and it looks like they tapped a few wires on the factory harness. That interface pigtail replaces the factory pig tail for the changer if equipped in the rear, and goes in the big connector in the back of the OEM deck..

View 8 RepliesSonata I45 (YF - 2011+) :: Downshifting From 4th To 3rd Right Around 35 Mph
Just picked up a 2012 GLS two weeks ago. So far I like the car. Unfortunately, I do about 40 miles a day of traffic driving. I have noticed the car seems to downshift from possibly 4th to 3rd right around 35mph. This downshift is noticeable and the engine has to rev to match the change. It is not a high rev, just a noticeable engine braking. Is this normal? I dont feel like anything is wrong just seems like the computers are not sure when to downshift.
When the car comes to a complete stop with your foot on the brake, does the car lower its rpm by 100-200pms? Seems like this is a gas saving technique. I have noticed it when While at a light and I lift my foot slighty the car feels like either the brakes are grabbing or the rpms are to low.
