Prius (2001-03) :: Water Leak In Trunk / Dripping From Left Side
For a while now I have been getting water in the trunk of my old 2001 Prius. Its dripping from the left side (driver's side) cutout in the upper part of the trunk.
I tried resealing the rear window and I am confident there is no openings there. The only thing I can determine is that I need to replace the trunk gasket. Having a hard time finding a replacement seal for that model, 2001 Prius?
Sonata I45 (YF - 2011+) :: Water Dripping Under Car Without AC On
I was coming back from work today and it was about 75 degrees out. Turned the temp control as low as it would go and without pressing the a/c button. When I got home I saw fluid marks where I pulled in on the concrete pad. Looked under the car and there was a good sized puddle of water dripping from the car like the a/c had been running but I never turned it on.
So I guess my question is, when you turn the temp control as cold as it goes or close to it, does the a/c automatically come on even without pressing the button or the light for it coming on?
I just wanted to bring in cool air in just running the fan to reduce road noise and not using a/c, and thought the air was pretty cold and at 75 degrees it shouldn't have been that cold. I didn't notice any power loss which I had been used to with my other car running a/c as well.
Hyundai - Sonata :: CEL Came On - Water Dripping From The Back Of Engine
So after getting a right axle changed on a 2008 Sonata my bloody check engine light come on right after leaving the repair shop at closing. 5 minutes later at home I checked under the car to see the axle repair and noticed a water dripping from the back of the engine. It only lasted a few minutes. So the next day I had the engine warning light coded and it turned out to be a' heated oxygen sensor heater control circuit low.' From an auto code website:
"Water getting inside the heated oxygen sensor connector can cause the heated oxygen sensor fuse to blow, which is a very common problem for this type code."
The water was dripping right below where the oxygen sensor is located. It wasn't raining that day.Could a repair shop accidentally or worse yet cause this to happen to increase repairs. How would you proceed at the repair shop?

View 3 RepliesHonda - Accord - Leaks :: 2015 - Water Leak In Trunk After Rain Storm
I have a new 2015 Accord. After a recent rain storm I found about an inch of water in the well where the spare tire is stored. I took it to the dealer and they ran numerous leak tests but could not reproduce the problem.
Since the car was parked during the storm, I don't see how the water could have gotten in there except via one of the light assemblies or by getting past the gasket. In other words, it wasn't blown up into the trunk from the roadway. The puzzler is that the carpet in the car was dry when I found the water. I googled this for hours and I don't find others with 2015 trunk leak complaints. All the complaints are for earlier model Accords.
Sonata I45 (LF 2015+) :: Trunk Will Not Open All The Way
Trunk not open all the way when using the button on the remote, inside the car, or the smart sensor? It is pretty useless if your hands are full and the trunk opens a few inches and you still have to manually open it the rest of the way.

I have had my car for a week and use the trunk every day. Tonight the trunk wouldn't open. Brought it to service and they were just closing, but technician looked quickly and didn't know problem and told me to come back tomorrow. I called Blue Link and they didn't have a clue either. I tried the remote, the trunk release in the car and the release under the trunk itself. I hear a click but it won't open. I even tried the second remote.
View 9 RepliesSonata I45 (LF 2015+) :: 2016 - Trunk Automatically Open After X Seconds If Key Fob Is Present
I went from 2014 Sonata Limited to 2016 Sonata limited. Have had the 2016 for a day now. On balance I like the changes with one exception. On the 2014 if I had Keyfob in pocket there was button underneath trunk lip I could press to open trunk. On 2016 that button is gone. Trunk is to automatically open after x seconds if Keyfob is present.
The problem is the trunk will automatically open as I walk past trunk to enter driver door. Then sometimes if I want to open trunk it never opens when I am standing next to it. I think they thought this was a cool upgrade but it is worse. I may have to turn that feature off.
Sonata I45 (LF 2015+) :: While Closing The Trunk Makes Long Beep Sound
I have a 2015 sonata sport and every time I close my trunk it makes a long beep sound and then goes off. The sound is almost like if you close the car door and leave the keys in the car, almost like a warning sound.

View 4 RepliesPrius (Gen 3) :: Water Dripping And Car Floor Is Moist
Just after getting my Prius I one day noticed water dripping down on my feet. I was just wearing my Tom's shoes so I noticed the quite small amount of water falling down on my left foot. I figured it had to be water stuck on the brake pedal dripping down...
A few weeks later my girlfriend complained about the same thing, but this time on the passenger side. Did not find out where the water was coming from.
Today it happened again on the drivers side. After heavy rain I sat down in the seat, started the car, and removed the parking brake and then it happened again. This time it was quite a bit of water! The floor is moist and it's wet up against the torpedo wall.
The car is a 2010.
Touareg :: Water Dripping From Compass Area
I have been having the drip problem from the area around the compass every time it rains hard and i accelerate. I told the dealer and they stated that the problem was the drainage tubes were clogged and charged me to clean them out. Since then i have had to have the drainage tubes cleaned 3 times and it solves my problem for a short period of time but then i have to do it again.. I have had several cars with sunroof as well as a cheapo explorer and not once did i ever even have to have the tubes cleaned.
View 2 RepliesGolf/GTI VI :: Water Dripping From Mirror Housings?
I have a Golf-R with 2500 miles on it and when I finish washing it, water drips from both side mirror housings for a while. I have tried tilting the mirrors up and blowing water out but they continue to drip and leave drip marks down the side of the car, especially if I drive soon afterward.
I had a similar issue on my 2012 Wrangler and I drilled drain holes in the mirror mounts which allowed them to drain quickly. I'm not really wanting to take that approach with the Golf-R.
Golf/GTI VI :: 2010 - Water Dripping From Door Seal
On the way back from work, yesterday, i ran into some rain, and noticed that there is water dripping from my door seal (right about where the oh sh!t handle is on drivers side). Now it's not a whole lot but its enough to make it annoying, about 3-4 drops per minute. Is this one of those defects i should live to live with, as with all the other cracks and noises, or should i take it to the dealer? I really don't like taking my car to the dealer for service .
