Santa Fe (DM - 2013+) :: 2014 - A/C Freezes Up And Won't Blow Air Through The Vents
I have a 2014 Santa Fe and after about 2 hours on the highway the A/C freezes up and won't blow air through the vents. If I shut off the A/C and run just fresh air in about 10 minutes the volume returns, and I can once again turn on the A/C for another 2+ hours. I run the A/C on fresh air not recirculate.

I started using Bluetooth with iPhone 5s today on my new GTI (2013 DE)... Everything works as planned except that when I push for Siri while playing bluetooth audio, I hear the beep, it mutes the music, I get the SIRI display that lists examples of different commands, then it goes back to regular screen and music resumes. I am not given the chance to use Siri... This stinks... I use SIRI a lot!

My iPod usually plays just fine in my ES350, but once a week or so it freezes up. I have to reboot the iPod and then all is good for another week or so. I have two iPods; this happens to each of them. The iPods do not freeze up when tied into my home stereo system. Usually there is an iPhone in the car, using the blue-tooth connection; no hardwired connection for the iPhone in the center console. I am using an Apple connection cable, not a cheap knock-off cable.

Occasionally when I start my car my phone won't connect and the only way to get a connection is to restart the car. Trying to connect through the system doesn't work.
Sometimes I have to restart the car several times to get a connection.
The phone is an iPhone 6.

I've got an iPhone 6 running iOS 8.0.2 and a 2014 ES300h, and the car won't read texts or even alert me that I got a new text at all. Everything else seems to be working fine, such as phone calls, Bluetooth audio, and engaging Siri.

I have a new 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited with the factory navigation system installed.
The car recognized my iPhone 4 and connected with no problems. The manual says that the contact list uploads from the phone to the car automatically. My contact list did upload to the car automatically, but about 20% of the contacts did not transfer. I tried it several times with the same results.

The Bluetooth audio works fine w/ Enform for apps like Pandora when my iPhone is not plugged into the USB port on the car. However, when the phone is plugged into the USB port (so that I can charge it) the Bluetooth audio cannot be heard. The car looks to still be receiving data from the phone, as the song & album info appear on the display but there is no sound.
Wondering if when the iPhone is plugged into USB port it "mounts" the phone as a drive (for the media player) and therefore shuts down the audio portion of Bluetooth?

I have a new 2015 Es 350 (Great car!!). I have paired an iPhone 5s to the Nav system but have not been able to receive e-mails or Text messages on my screen. I have followed the directions but so far nothing transfers. The other iPhone features appear to be working fine. I have activated "send Notifications."

I have a new 2015 Camry SE (Without the premium Audio) and yesterday drove from Ohio to Florida and during our trip the TouchScreen would "go out"/lock up/freeze (whatever you'd like to call it) about 5 times. When the touch screen goes out, all the audio controls would also go out. This means all the audio controls on the dash AS WELL AS all the audio controls on the steering wheel.
In order to fix the issue, you need to turn the car off, then start it back up again. Once doing that, everything will work anywhere from a few minutes to hours. I was wondering, I was going through the options on the screen and found an "update software" option, but was unsure how to actually check for an update.
Prius (2010-12) :: Touchscreen Backlight Not Working
One random day the back light on my 10 Prius III touch screen went out, so can't use features effectively. Screen does a QuickFlash when I turn the car on and most of the functions work on screen when I get lucky enough to touch the right spot. Radio works. CD check! Nav works, just can't really see it. Warranty is long past expiration.

My 2010 Prius' touchscreen went from working perfectly fine one day to not working the next. When I try to tap one of the virtual buttons, it will trigger something else, leading me to believe it is misaligned somehow. For the second-generation Prius : I was wondering if there is some way to make the screen stay on the mode that you are in and not switch back to consumption/ energy by itself all the time? For example you push audio to see the radio station info or the CD track info and it will stay in audio mode until you change it. Or if you want it to stay in climate mode and not Have it change back to energy/consumption after about five or 10 seconds.

i have a 04 f250 cc short box 6.0 and im installing a 7" indash dvd/radio player along with a 9" universal monitor, 12" kicker sub, and amp.
my question is i have matched up all the speaker wires no problem power ground and illumination wires good.
now on my ford end of my harness i still have a pink wire a black/green wire and a red/black wire.....what are these wires for?
