Prius Plug-in 2012-15 :: Instrument Cluster Display Digital Shadow

Noticed a digital "shadow" to the electronic speedometer display? Below is a picture of what I'm seeing. It's not a viewpoint or reflection that goes away from a different angle. It's like there is an alignment issue or something.. I know the display image is a projection from below, to create a distant focal point. But I see this image shadow.

The one in my 07 Prius doesn't do this. Click on the pic below...

Prius (2010-12) :: Low Beam Headlights Burning Out?

Have had my 2010 just under 2 years. Have about 61k on it.

A couple of months ago, the passenger side low beam lamp went out. When I tapped it, the tiny bulb on top of it went back on, but not the low beam lamp. High beams were fine.

Took it to the dealer asking them to check for a short. They said there was none, it was just the bulb.

Tonight, same thing except on the driver side. Tapped it and the small bulb went on, but not the regular one.

I am finding it odd that both bulbs would burn out like that. One, maybe, but two so soon...?

I had my '03 for seven years and 112k and never had an issue with the lights. Very few issues overall with that.

Prius (2010-12) :: Headlight Low Beam Bulb Replacement

How to replace low beam bulbs? all info i found was talk about whether they were covered under warranty or not? I got extended maintenance warranty to 100k miles, but bulbs, I don't think so. I just noticed today that both were out on low beam, high beam are fine. Should I take car to dealer? or is this something I can do myself?

Prius (2010-12) :: Rust On The Rear Axle Beam

I recently found rust on the rear axle beam, on both sides near the strut/shock absorber bolts. They are actually bubbling and the original black paints are peeling off. I brought it in to a dealer for inspection today, but they said it's only surface rust. Does this look like it?

I owned the car for 18 months but it did not look like this 6 months ago.

Yesterday my 2010 Prius 4 (98k miles) was normal until I switched the lights from normal to hi beam and then back again. The hi bean works but the regular headlights do not. All other lights work and there are no warning lights lit. Turn signals are normal. Could this be a circuit breaker?

My car is having a problem of passenger side light (low beam) being always on even after turning the switch or engine off. I have to unplug it to prevent it from draining the battery.

I am not too familiar with electrical system on the Prius, but suspect bad relay or something related. Where the relay for the headlight is?

Golf/GTI VI :: Distracting Noise When Accelerate From A Standpoint Or Making Turn

My GTI is making a very very distracting and annoying noise when i accelerate from a standpoint or when i make a turn, it sounds like if a couple of rocks were rolling in between the roof and the exterior of the car. At first I thought it was something on my trunk/hatch but it is completely empty. The sound is coming from the back but I can't exactly locate where it's coming from.

I bought a 1991 Dodge Shadow from a private owner and he told me it needed a trans mount but upon inspection the mount seems to be fine the car will shudder upon first acceleration and a louder shudder shifting from 1st to 2nd. So I was leaning more towards a cv axle rather than the transmission mount still not sure. Only have this problem under a load 60-65 mph seems to drive fine and no viberations!!!!

Dodge - Shadow :: 1994 - Intermittent Headlights / Flicker Several Times

the headlights stopped working on my 94 shadow. I replaced the headlight switch (on the dash, not the multi switch on the steering column) and they worked again... until I was about 15 minutes into a 30 minute drive @ 2 AM. The lights went out (headlights, dash lights, everything) and came right back on. They flickered several more times and after I move the switched, stay on for the remainder of the drive. i figured there was just a bad spot in the switch (it seemed dependent on the dimmer position at first). It turns out that it seems to do this at the same point in the drive every night independent of the switch position, speed, engine revs, bumps. the only thing that seems to make a difference is the time before flickering is shorter when I use my brights. I should also point out that my speedo has always stopped working @ about the same time frame if I have the headlights & vent fan both on....

Golf/GTI VI :: HID Light Throw Narrow Shadow Angled To Right And One To The Left

When my xenon lights are on they throw a shadow out to about 20 feet in front of the car. This is on a golf 2010 TDI.. It is a narrow shadow angled to the right and one to the left.

Is there something wrong with my Lights or do I need to change setting somehow? They are plenty bright but it is odd the lighting in front has this marking in it. BTW the fogs are not on nor does putting them on change this.. Noticed this on low beams and perhaps on high as well..

Lexus RC F 2015+ :: Low-beam Triple LED Headlights Aimed Way Too Low But High-beam Okay

My car is fully stock, with all options available to me (cold weather package not available here). The low-beam triple-LED headlights are aimed way too low compared to all my previous cars, and where they should be. BUT high-beam is aimed properly. So if I adjust the low-beams up, my high-beams might end up lighting up the trees, not the road.

If adjust the headlights up on a fully stock car (not lowered at the front)? Are the high beams still lighting up the road fine? And if you can be specific as the number of turns on the screwdriver, it'd be good too to have an initial adjustment reference.
