Prius V (Audio/Electronics) :: Response Feature Of NAV Won't Work

I just got my new Prius V, Five with AT package. It's a fantastic car, but the NAV and phone integration is still somewhat confusing. I was surprised when the car suddenly popped up a message on the screen that I received a new email. And it then has the capability to read the email. That all seems to work great. However, what does not seem to work is the "response" feature with the predetermined phrases. Whenever I try to use that it tells me "Error sending message" or something similar.

I have a Blackberry 9810 Torch, which is paired to the car using the MAP (message access), AVRCP (A/V Remote control), HFP (Hands Free) and Audio Sink protocols.

Gen 3 Prius (Audio/Electronics) :: Bluetooth Won't Connect With Portable Audio Player

I noticed that when I active BT on my phone it connects to my cars phone BT automatically. But has a harder time when I try to connect to the portable audio player to stream music. I have to turn off the BT on my phone and turn it back on and then hit the "connect" button for the audio player and it works. Then I have to go back to the phone screen and hit connect again.

Prius C (Audio/Electronics) :: IPod Or Bluetooth Audio - Skip To Next Song?

When I am listening to songs from iPhone there are buttons on my head unit (C2 radio NOT nav system) for play/pause, fwd, rewind BUT the rewind and fwd buttons only forward through the song it's playing (like you used to be able to do with cassette tapes) and it does NOT skip to the next song. How stupid is that? I have never seen a digital audio player that did this, the fwd/rewind always skip back a song or fwd a song BUT the prius head unit only skips through the song itself.

Prius V (Audio/Electronics) :: Bluetooth Audio Connecting / Loading - How To Default Maps Setting

Everytime, I get into my V I play my various podcast (via iPhone). However, its takes about a minute (as compared to my wife's RX which connects instantaneously). Why it takes such a long time? Bluetooth is always on and its be "paired".

Also, when I turn off audio, the screen simply shows blue screen with "audio off". Is there a way that I can always default to the map screen instead of going to apps --> maps --> show map? Not a biggie, but a nice to have for me.

Gen 3 Prius (Audio/Electronics) :: IPhone 6 - Bluetooth Connects But No Audio

2013 Prius. Audio worked fine yesterday but on my way to work this morning the car would not play audio from my iPhone 6s. The Bluetooth is connected fine and calling still works but when I play music the screen shows that the music is playing but I get no sound from my speakers. I've tried resetting my phone and turned the car off and on to no avail.

I bought a cheap alternative bluetooth receiver at radio shack to try to create a workaround and it synced up perfectly. So, I believe it has something to do with the car BT. How to get it to work right?

Gen 3 Prius (Audio/Electronics) :: 2011 - Music Through Bluetooth Without Nav Possible?

I have a 2011 Prius III without Nav. It has bluetooth pairing, and pairs with the Galaxy Nexus phone (android) to make and receive calls just fine. However, there seems to be no way to play music through the phone? (I currently have an audio cable which I plug into my phone. But for various reasons, this is far from an ideal solution for me.)

I have contacted the Toyota dealership where I bought the Prius and they seem to think this does not work. However, can this really be the case?

(1) Is there something I'm missing in order to play music through bluetooth on my phone?
(2) If there isn't, what are my after-market options for doing so? (I don't need navigation or anything else.)

Gen 3 Prius (Audio/Electronics) :: Bluetooth Always Remains Connected

Just got my Prius III last week and I've noticed that every time I leave the car, the bluetooth on my phone shows its still connected, even though the car is off and I'm no where near it. What's worse is that when I return to the car, it doesn't reconnect. So I'm not sure if its the phone or the car. I had bluetooth in my Tacoma for years and it worked fine, so it has to have something to do with the car. Its a Droid 4.

Gen 3 Prius (Audio/Electronics) :: Bluetooth - Never Know What Will Start Playing

I have an Android phone paired to the bluetooth and I love being able to listen to audio apps on the car stereo. However, it has a most annoying habit. The most common app I listen to through BT is Audible recorded books. I also have Pandora and the stock music player on my phone. Generally, before I shut down, I press the pause button on the audio screen and turn off the audio power switch. When I restart the car and the BT audio, while it will usually start with the app I was last listening to (i.e., Audible), it very often decides it is going to play something from the music player. I don't understand why it makes this decision because it isn't because I have been listening to the music player since turning off the car!
