Elantra GD (2013+) :: Rough Idle / Center Stack Lights Flickering
Today when I got to school and put my car in park the idle immediately went unusually rough. Then I noticed my passenger airbag light was flickering but also were all the other lights around there (Climate control, heated seat button, etc). I took a video to show it but you have to really look closely at the airbag light and even the ring around the fan speed dial. Now it gets even more interesting when I start my car to leave I notice it isn't on the average MPG screen anymore but rather trip A. So I switched it back but the average MPG had reset... but ONLY the average mpg and the time elapsed clock. Finally when I started driving it felt as if the transmission memory or the part that "tunes" the transmission to your driving habits had also reset as it was jerky, downshifting mainly (I know this because I've had it reset multiple times for various reasons and also when I disconnected the battery once). Loose battery terminal? HID's have anything to do with it?

Prius (2010-12) :: Speedometer And Fuel Level Indicator Blank - Instrument Cluster Failure
While traveling speedometer and fuel level indicated blanked out. No other problems--I could see our speed by using GPS.
Toyota service said a circuit board was burned out. I searched and found numerous such problems with 04 up to 09 and eventually (in 2012) Toyota initiated an extended warranty to cover replacement of the board.
Prius (2004-09) :: 2008 - Speedometer Panel Will Not Light Up
I have an intermittent problem. Sometimes when I start my 2008 Prius, the speedometer panel will not light up. Also, when that happens the backup camera will not work. I tried starting the cal 4 or 5 times with the same result. When I got to my destination I stopped the car and 4 hours later started with no problem. It has done this 2 or 3 times now. Is my speedometer (instrument) panel about to fail?

This truck is from Canada. I need to convert speedometer cluster from kilometers per hour to miles per hour. The kilometers are on top and miles per hour under them. Want to convert. I have viewed kits to change the face. They have the miles per hour on top.
BUT! Does the tranny need to be re calibrated?
Camry :: Suddenly Instrument Cluster / Center Facia Went Out
I have a 2005 Camry with 150K miles on it. Last night while driving home from vacation, the instrument cluster and center facia (AC controls area) went out all of a sudden. When the front headlights are on the inst cluster and AC facia lights dont work, but when the front headlights are off the instrument cluster lights work. I checked the 10 A panel fuses and they are ok. The tail lights are also working.

I am having a slight issue with my cluster. When I turn the key on or start the car, the speedo needle goes crazy for about a minute then stops above 0mph (points at 5mph when im not moving). While that's happening, the other needles don't work until the speedo normalizes. It also does this when i turn the car off. What this could be? I heard about the VSS can cause speedo issues but what about the rest? I also heard the mk4's can have cluster failures. it's a 99' mk4 vr6 jetta 5spd.

Town and all shops nearby have a week wait to get the truck in there. This happened once or twice a year ago but I'd pull over, shut it off and when I restarted it everything was fine. I'll be driving and all of a sudden the information display on the cluster will show a wrench signaling something's wrong(see image), then the speedometer will go to 0 and all information in center display will show flat lines. This started up yesterday but is now doing it after about 10min of driving every time I being driving. What's worse is the truck will randomly start shifting or shift extremely hard even when driving at a consistent speed. This was taken while truck was going about 45, but shows 0...

With the car OFF, there's a blinking light in the lower row of the instrument cluster, right to the left of the ABS indicator. Can't find any reference to it in the book. It blinks just fast enough that I can't really decipher it, but if I stare at it long enough, I see a padlock and maybe a car outline. What this might be, and is there a complete mapping of all lights in the cluster anywhere?

I have a 05 Prius that is having an issue with the cluster not lighting up occasionally. Sometimes what i have to do is turn the car off and press the panic button, disarm the alarm and then restart the car for the cluster to light back up. Ive taken it to the dealership a couple times already but every time they have the car the problem doesn't occur.

I have 228,000 miles on my wonderful GX 470. Love it!! Very Few Problems. My Airbag Light on the Cluster stays ON sometimes and sometimes is OFF. There is no consistency. I will be driving and the light will come ON and stays ON. And then, it will stay OFF for few drives. Why the light would sometimes come ON?

My cluster went on the fritz and i bought a used one off ebay. (caused dome light to randomly come on and off as well as same thing with the brake light). Any ways I did some research and searching for compatibility in swapping clusters, my truck is an 06 f150 5.4 chrome package. The cluster I bought was from 07-08 but the look identical. Anyways I hook it up and everything works fine, all gauges warning lights everything. The only problem is that i have a tire pressure light on that flashes and stays steady.
My 06 wasn't even equipt with the tpms system, not sure how it even has power for the indicator light now. I know from what i been reading that its "illegal" / dealer wont turn it off, but for me its really doing no good just an annoyance since I don't have tpms. My question is is there a way on the cluster i can make it go out, i realize there is no bulb for the warning lights like in older vehicles or maybe a wire that feeds to it? Or possibly something i can do to the circuit board to make it stop? Looking for a cluster schematic?

2005 6.0L F250 Lariat. I picked up a couple weeks ago. The message center in the gauge cluster will only show my mileage (kilometres) and engine hours but nothing else.
Also the three buttons/controls to the right of the steering column don't do anything. I checked the wiring behind the dash and it's all plugged in... The other problem is the SRS light will flash on and off while driving.
Prius (2004-09) :: Engine Shuts Off But MFD Stays On - Cluster Dead
Cluster dead. Held power button for 3 seconds. Engine shuts off but MFD stays on and green power stays on too. I've tried holding the power button for 20+ seconds. I can restart the car normally and and the engine starts up. Holding the power button for 3+ seconds turns the engine back off, but not completely. When I walk away from the car, it complains I'm leaving with the key and beeps at me. It's still powered on in my garage.

This happened last year right at the end of winter and than stopped during summer, just started back up today, just so we have all the info- my airbag light in cluster comes on and airbag off light come on above radio and both turn off. Once the truck is started a very loud ear piercing single tone comes from under dash (130 dB at least) this can range from 5-30 seconds depending on how cold it is outside.

Started about a month ago, no speedometer or fuel gauge (the display up on the dash). So, somewhere I found out about unplugging the 12v battery and that worked...for a while! After a few times doing that, I read somewhere that it is a sign that the 12v battery is going. So, I took it in to the local auto parts store, they tested it and said it was good.
I bought one anyhow since it was about 3-1/2 years old. That worked for about 2 weeks, but now it's back! I've unplugged the battery and again it has ( temporarily ) fixed this issue. The other thing that happens is that it is difficult to turn off and requires you to hold the power button for an extended period of time. I guess part of my problem is I am not sure what to call that display and my searches are coming up with all sorts of things. I have about 160,000 and have had no problems.
Prius (2004-09) :: Center Dash Display Does Not Come On At All
My wife has a 2009 Prius and the center display does not work. At first it was intermittent but now it is off and does not come on at all. We can still control radio & AC through the controls on the steering wheel. I checked the 2 fuses the manual associates with the display(s) and they are both still good.
