Prius (2004-09) :: Red Brake And Orange ABS Lights Came On
I had the brakes on my 2004 Prius replaced. Recently the red Brake light and the orange ABS Brake lights come on some of the time - but not all of the time. I took the car in to my local repair shop. They said it would cost $300 to diagnose the problem.

I have a 2010 gen 111 with nav system etc, the other day a orange check engine light came on, I took it to our Toyota Dealer and they said that I had mud and gravel up in the car, near the fuel intake area, and that the carbon capture canister/switch was damaged by the dirt and I need to get it replaced. I asked if I could simply not make the repair due to the fact that the electronics system would eventually not be able to read the H Carbon readings and the car would burn more fuel.

I have a 2005 prius with 38,160 miles I started it and shut it off and then tried restarting and now does not want to start. The ready light does not go on and the start button becomes orange.
I checked my 12 volt and it gave a reading of 12.2 volts. These are the engine codes that come up:

Prius (2004-09) :: 2007 Won't Start - 5 Orange Dash Lights
I got in my car today, put the key in, put my foot on the break, and pressed the start button, but instead of starting up, the start button turned orange, and 5 orange dash lights came on in the lower corner. I tried persistently to start it, and eventually it did try to start the engine, which worked fine. I drove around the block and then parked to see if I was going to have the problem again. This time the problem was more persistent the car never started again.

I have, on several occasions seen an orange light flash to the right of the speedometer when releasing the throttle abruptly.
I cannot reproduce this, but it only happens when it's wet (so far).
I think it *might* be the skidding-light, it is about that location in the dash, but it flashes too short to be certain. And it wouldn't make much sense, there should not be enough friction to stop the wheel rotating, should there?
Prius (Gen 2) :: Key And Car Frozen When Push Power Button / Light Turns Orange
I put the key in. I hit the Power Button. The light in Power Button turns orange. The car doesn't start. The key can't be removed from recepticle. The following message comes on the screen: "Caution: The transmission lock mechanism is abnormal. Park your car at a flat place and apply the parking brake completely." (Except it is already parked in a flat place with the parking brake completely on).

My wife's Prius now has the check engine light, the orange triangle, and the car with the exclamation point lit up. It only has 96,000 miles and hasn't been in a wreck that we know of. I've read that it has to do with the HV ECU, but I don't know much more about it. Is there any chance it's just a loose cable or something simple? It doesn't seem like her car should already be having so many extensive problems all at once. We haven't had any in the past, except the car with the exclamation point came on for a few days and then went away on its own.

Prius Plug-in 2012-15 :: Orange Caution Light On Dash And Clicking Sound From Engine Area
I got to work this morning and had about 3.5 miles left with the EV. Tried to go home and nothing works. I could not open the door. I thought it was my remote battery so I Changed the battery and still nothing works. I get the Orange caution light on the dash and a clicking sound from the engine area . No lights come on. Nothing.

I replaced my front struts today and afterward the ABS and "(!)" light came on as soon as I turned on the car. I checked the speed sensor lines and they all look okay so I didn't damaged them in the process. The car brakes quite soft but still works and the regenerative braking still works. The mechanic pulled the following codes: C1300 and C1319. I went ahead and reset the ABS light by crossing pin 4 and 13 on the OBD2 connector technique. That reset the lights, and the brake also works as normal as well. After driving around a bit, turned off the car, then turned it back on the lights came back on again.

I bought a 2005 prii with 145k miles about a month ago and have since driven it 1,200 miles. A few days ago, the red triangle light came on when I started the car in the morning. I had to get to work so I unplugged the negative on the 12v and reconnected it. It started and it drove just fine. I get off work and the same thing happens. I did the same thing and drove home just fine. I then ordered a optima yellow top from elearnaid and it was shipped and arrived in 1 day!!!
I installed the battery this morning and called the dealer to notify them of my situation. The light didn't come on so I thought it may just be the 12v. But of course I didn't wanna run out of warranty and then the hv battery completely goes bad. The dealer tells me to bring it in and I did. They "diagnosed" the car and could not "repeat" what had happened to me. They said because I unplugged the 12v, it erased any codes. I thought it's always saved on the ECU? anyways, I told them about installing a new 12v battery and they said, "that must be it." I'm at 147k miles right now and I don't want my 150k / 10 year warranty to expire before something really goes wrong with the hv battery.
Am I just screwed and hope for the best for miles to come? Or is there a Toyota number I can call to tell them of the situation? I'm almost hopeful that it was only because of the 12v but at the same time, I have doubts.
Prius (2004-09) :: Red Triangle Warning Light Started Coming On When Stopped
I have an 06 Prius with about 170k miles. The hybrid battery was replaced shortly before I bought the car last year.
About a month ago, the red triangle warning light started coming on when I'm stopped. It usually stays on for a few seconds once I start moving again. The MFD just says "Problem" for a few seconds, then displays the icon for a headlight. Once the light clears, the MFD goes back to its normal display. Originally, it was lighting up once every other day or so, but now it's lighting two or three times per trip. I'm going to have to do something about it, but I'm trying to get my head around what to expect.
My understanding is that the red triangle could mean anything from "The door is open and you're moving. Please close it." to "Your car is about to melt down! Seek cover!". I have an Automatic OBD dongle, and it's not reading any diagnostic codes. But as I understand it, there's a whole different set of diagnostic codes that a "regular" OBD reader won't catch.
I keep seeing reference to ScanGauge devices -- do they read the second set of diagnostic codes? I talked to a mechanic in the area who will read the codes for about $100. Is the mechanic likely to be reading the codes with that tool/is that what a dealer would use to read the codes? Is the dealer likely to charge to read the codes?

This past Wednesday evening, on my way home in Palm Beach County, the flashing snowflake appeared in the MFD.....39 degrees!! (I know this is an normal, everyday occurrence for y'all up North. I am trying to change the color of the light on my dash board and center console from the standard orange to a light blue color. I've tried searching the internet looking for any advice but I haven't come across anything for a 2009 Toyota corolla. I understand that some cars need to have the light bulbs soldered and some can you can change out a colored film. Which of these options applies to my car? If it's the light bulb change then what size and how many. Also, how to take out the instrumental cluster.

Last night I made a U-turn (a slightly sharp one) on the road and suddenly I heard a beep and then a symbol of a snowflake appeared in the MFD. I thought maybe it had something to do with the snow tires setting, but according to the MFD that setting is unchecked. This morning the car still has the symbol on. Just today, my '05 Ford Focus began flashing in orange it's O/D Off light. It seems to only happen when I am going over 40mph between 1800 and 2000 rpms. The light flashes for no specific amount of time and doesn't come on at specific intervals. I have also noticed that the car is shifting (it's an automatic) in this RPM range as well. I am worried because I just moved to a new area and am unfamiliar with the automotive services in this area. Another interesting thing that has happened along with this problem is that prior to this, my oil light had been coming on periodically. When I had that checked out they told me it was the oil pressure sensor. However, now that light hasn't gone on and I haven't had that replaced. Am I looking at a lot of trouble ahead with this car?

I am lucky my SO (more on that in FHOP) had the diagnostic tool to see why my Prius woke up with a headache as I was starting my day. Displaying the orange triangle, telling me to park and then telling me to shift to park... Yet I parked her in the garage the night before. I should have had a pen at the ready as I did not get the three codes that came up (they are stored on my SO's work computer now). Two were about some miscommunication - one having to do with navigation; the third was a malfunction with the USB port... I have had a few issues with connecting my iPad to the USB port.
I am getting close to 10K as well. Very fortunate to have a Prius doc in my world!
Lexus GS 2013+ :: Check BSM System Orange Error Light Came On
So tonight I was parking the car next to the wall in front of my garage like always and an orange error light came on to check BSM system what is that? Although, I turned the car off and on it stayed on I took it for a drive down the street and it went away now every time I turn the car on its not there anymore.
