Prius (2004-09) :: Check Engine Light Just Came On - Coolant Control Valve Sensor?

My wifes 2008 prius check engine light just came on. Its the control valve sensor. My question is, does that have any serious impact on safety? I've heard mixed on what this valve does (overheating etc).

Prius (2004-09) :: Code P1121 - Coolant Flow Control Valve Position Sensor Stuck?

The check engine light on my '05 Prius has gone on and off a couple of times and is giving me a P1121 code, which I found out means "Coolant Flow Control Valve Position Sensor Stuck". Does this have anything to do with the hybrid electric coolant pump that was replaced under recall a while back?

Prius (2004-09) :: Code P1121 - Coolant Flow Control Valve Position Sensor Stuck

It's been a long week for me and my 2007 Prius. Brought it to the dealer after receiving my first ever CEL. I have 222,000 miles on the vehicle. The a/c was also blowing warm when the CEL came on. They checked that and told me that the compressor was "breaking up." Then they call me back to tell me that my 12V battery died. They asked me if I had problems with starting the vehicle. I said never. Never had any issues with the car in 222,000 miles.

Well, told them to replace the battery (no choice) and the car is 5.5 years old in Florida heat so it was ready to die. Very suspicious that it died while they had the vehicle, but what can I say. Told them to not repair the coolant flow valve or the a/c until I could investigate further on my own. CEL is now off. The a/c is blowing cool again.

Prius (2004-09) :: CEL Code P0505 - Idle Air Control Malfunction

My check engine light has come on twice now and I'm getting a p0505 code, idle air control malfunction. It seems as though there could be a couple causes for this. All my hoses seem tight, so the cheap fix seems out of the question. What could the other causes be, and more importantly, about how much for a shop to fix it. I have a 2006 with 155,000 miles on it.

Lexus GX 2004-09 :: Fault Codes P0037 And P0057 - Oxygen Sensor Heater Control Circuit Low

What can be done regarding these faults? P0037 and P0057

Description:
Oxygen Sensor Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 1, Sensor 2)
Oxygen Sensor Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 2, Sensor 2)

The catalytic converters have been removed but the fault was present before that anyway. All I want is the VSC function to work again and the lights to go off. I have heard you can put dummy sensors in.

Prius (Gen 2) :: Check Engine Light Might Be Idle Sensor?

The check engine light came on in my 05 so took my local shop and they checked the code and said it was the Idle Sensor. They were not able to make the repair. Since then the light went off for a few days then came back on. I now notice the gas motor does not turn off when I stop at a traffic light.

Ford F-150 (2004-2008) :: Misfire And Rough Idle - EVAP Sensor

My 2004/ 4.6L F-150 had misfire issues and rough idle. Since changing the plugs and a COP the idle is better. It seems to stutter a bit at low RPMs around town, but it fine at higher RPMs. What to check next. Also since fixing the misfire and clearing the codes from the computer it won't enable all the emissions monitors. I've drive over 100 miles and the EVAP monitor still isn't on. The truck has about 213K miles on it.

Ford F-150 (2004-2008) :: Check Engine Light Is Flashing / Throttle Actuator Control System Forced Idle

I have a 2005 f-150 street boss with 79000 mile, and it is shooting off going down the road, and the check engine light is flashing. The first time I started it back up and it would idle fine, but the throttle wouldn't do any thing. After setting about 15 min. I started it up and it ran good. I checked the codes and it had a p2104 Throttle actuator control system forced idle. It happened again with my wife. This time when I checked the codes it had the p2104 and a p2112 throttle actuator control system stuck closed code. What could be the problem, or a troubleshooting guide I could use to try and diagnose it.

Prius (2004-09) :: Springs On Load Leveling Sensor Keeps Going Bad

The springs on my load leveling sensor keep getting corroded. This time I sprayed them with contact cleaner and then dipped them in dielectric grease so hopefully they won't go bad again, but I fear they might. It looks like there was some kind of anti corrosive treatment on them which was removed when I cleaned them off.

Prius (2004-09) :: Faulty Oxygen Sensor Caused CEL To Came On

We took our 2008 Prius in for a check engine light. The dealership said oxygen sensor was faulty. Changed that and had them change the serpentine belt while there due to cracks in the belt. My wife filled up the car the next day ( it took 13 gallons) but gas gauge was not registering a full tank. We drove 67 miles and I decided to pull into a gas station and see how much it would take since the gas gauge was not working properly. It took over 7 gallons.

Prius (2004-09) :: Repairing Headlight Leveling Sensor?

I just got the warning symbol that mine has failed, so I'm thinking of trying the repair myself, too. But I thought I'd ask here: how have people's repairs held up? Have you had to go back and eventually replace it? Is there anything you wish you had done differently when you repaired it?

On a related note, I see that the Toyota Service Bulletin for this problem instructs the mechanic to "Perform the Headlight Leveling ECU Initialization procedure using the SST" and then to "Perform the Headlight Aim Only procedure." This doesn't seem like something an individual can do without specialized equipment / knowledge. Is there a way to do it? Is it unnecessary?

Prius (2004-09) :: 2007 Passenger Airbag Sensor Does Not Respond

My 2007 airbag sensor does not respond to a weight of 20 pounds or more, it continues to read "off". The dealer said the problem is in the female end of the seat belt; however, the seat belt sensor works perfectly. It sounds like the wrong diagnosis to me.
