Phaeton :: Reverse Lights Not Working
My reverse lights aren't working. I assume the trunk cable assembly is fine, as all my trunk opening and latching works and there is no viable damage to the cable. I figured the bulbs were burned out but I pulled the trunk liner today and at least one of the bulbs looks intact. I don't see any fuse listed for reverse lights.

Twice this week, when I went out to start my car after dark, the lights did not come on automatically, even though the switch was set to auto. The headlights were on, as in DRL, but none of the dash or interior lights came on. I could turn them on by turning the switch to the on position, but then they would go back out when switched back to auto. If you shut the car off and restart it appears to correct itself. This is not a big deal by any means, but it never happened before and now it has occurred twice in a matter of a couple days. I tried to search the forum before posting, but it appears the search function is not working.

After the recirculation motor being replaced on the air con either coincidence or not the hazards are not working, had read somewhere can be a pinched wire behind the infotainment. I have found the main fuses in the cabin but no detail card.

I have a 2007 3.6 wagon. Tonight, I opened the tailgate with the remote and when I pushed the button on the gate to close it, nothing happened. The close button has suddenly stopped working. I called the dealer and he told me to push it down by hand. That's fine for now, but I want the button working.
There isn't something I did wrong to get the button to refuse to close the door is there? I am assuming the button is broken and needs to be replaced, unless someone tells me that this is a common problem and there is an easy fix.
Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: Replaced Stolen Tailgate / Camera Not Working
I left town and accidentally left the tailgate on my 2011 F250 SuperDuty unlocked. It was stolen.
Found a replacement, replaced the broken handle, installed new key lock, transferred to camera and plugged it in. My rear-view mirror is not receiving the signal, just a blue screen. Is there something else I need to do to complete the process of connecting the camera.
Dodge - Ram :: Brake Lights / Cruise Control Not Working - High Lights Working Intermittently?
I have a1994 Dodge 1500 Ram Hemi extra cab 4door. The brake lights on the bed of the truck not the high light will blink on and off and sometimes stay on the other day my son-in-law narrowed the truck and a trailer and the trailer also blinked but again not the high light. Also the cruise has stopped working about the same time this started. At one time it was infrequent now is most of the time. Wondering if it could be part of the alarm system or something else it is driving me crazy.

I have a 2003 santa fe and the blinkers are not functioning but the hazard lights are working fine. I checked the fuse and that is fine. Is there someway I can take apart the handle assembly where the switch for the blinkers are? Also, sometimes they would work and other times they wouldn't so that seems like a loose connection somewhere. The indicators for the blinkers on the dash do not work either so there has to be a problem giving power to the switch.

I have a 2001 Excursion, 6.8 V10, with the factory fog lights.
The fog lights worked fine, until a few days ago until they suddenly stopped working when just the parking lights are on.
I can still pull out the switch, the indicator light does not come on but the parking lights still work. When I turn it to the headlight position with the switch pulled out everything comes on and works like it should.
I tried checking the fuses but I didn't see one labeled in the manual for the fog lights so I don't know for sure which one to check. Could I possibly have a bad switch?
Brakes - Lights - Nissan - Pathfinder :: 1994 - Blinkers Quit Working / Brake Lights Went Out
Nissan Pathfinder SE-V6 4x4 My blinkers quit working, but flashers still come on. All 3 brake lights also went out but tail lights still work. when the car is cranked and blinker is on there is a buzzing (alert) sound and the oil temp light comes up on the dash, there is no sound when the key is in the on position, only when it is cranked. Occasionally there is a crackle through the speakers that usually goes away when I turn it off. I don't know if the last part is relevant but I figured I would put it in anyway. Is this an easy fix or are there serious electrical problems?

Turn signals quit working on my 2006 E-150. Swapped out the relay under the dash and it did nothing. Also noticed the brake lights aren't working. The headlights and taillight a are working. I pulled the fuses under dash for the lights and they tested ok. I did notice the flasher relay was making clicking sounds intermittently even when not touching anything.

So after driving my new phaeton for 3 months i realized that my AC recirculation does not work. When i press the re-circle button , it shows up in the screen. but i don't hear the sounds of the fan any different from de-activating the re-circle. I can smell the bad air from outside even though re-circle is activated.
I believe that the re-circle should function like in other cars. more strong air flow and more colder. Just wondering if it's just the switch that needs to be changed or if there is a valve/door under the dash that I need to look into.
Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: 2004 F250 - Rear Tail Lights And Front Running Lights Not Working
The rear tail lights on my truck have been out for a while now. I wasn't doing much driving at night so it wasn't much of a bother but the new job is getting me home a little later and having to drive with my hazards on is getting old fast.
My radio wasn't working either and I disconnected it a while back hoping maybe it had something to do with my lights shorting out but no luck. It remains disconnected. Just in the past few days my front running lights have went out as well.
I've tested all fuses multiple times (and replaced a couple of them) and checked and replaced bulbs. My brake lights, headlights, dash lights and hazards all work fine. I have the trailer light hook up on the rear bumper and disconnected it at the wiring harness as well hoping it was the problem but it wasn't.
Phaeton :: Do Wipers Would Cause The Lights On Car To Come On?
I've had my Phaeton for almost exactly one year now, and these are the two things I'm still not sure I have set correctly. I swear I read in the manual that turning on the wipers would also cause the lights on the car to come on. What I'm finding is it seems that when I reach a certain speed or there is enough rain the lights come on.
Do the wipers not activate the lights and it is just coming on in the rain because it has gotten dark enough outside?
Second related question is that I would like the light sensor to be a little more sensitive with regards to automatically turn on/off the lights.
Phaeton :: No Lights In Dashboard
I have a problem with Phaeton dashboard. There are no more lights in dashboard (speedometer, tachometer, etc.)
The small screen between speedometer and tachometer works just fine. If I use + and - buttons (which are designed to operate dashboard lights), the only thing that works - red arrows. I mean that red arrows in speedometer and tachometer DO LIGHT, but everything else remains black. No matter what position lights switch is in, dashboard has no lights.
It has happened when local dealer has updated engine software, but now they tell me it's a dashboard problem and they have nothing to do about it (unless I will pay for new dashboard). I guess software updating to version 0223 (I have 0220 now) won't work?
Phaeton :: V8 - All Of A Sudden Remote Key Not Working
All of a sudden my remote key (phaeton 2004) stopped working. What could be wrong? Batteries or does it need to be reprogrammed again.

I recently bought an 2005, 3ltr diesel Phaeton (though packed with options) in Germany. I drove it home and was, and am, in awe of the motoring experience.
As a fan of cars I am lucky to own a Opel Speedster (VX 220 in the UK) and a Buick Riviera Boattail from 1972. But the Phaeton beats all of them together!
But......my newly acquired Phaeton failed the technical control over here in Belgium due to the headlight washers (squishers?) not working (coming out of the bumper). Not even with the manual override through the control screen.
Dealer have checked every fuse, replaced on of the batteries which was not functioning properly (and was causing numerous 'power' errors). The car has been with them for two weeks now and I am getting desperate to drive my car.
