Mini - Cooper :: 2002 - Buzz Sound Near Center Console / Trip Odometer And LED Clock Reset

I have a 2002 Mini Cooper I bought a year and a half ago. The last couple of months when I shut my car off I sometimes hear a buzz sound near the center console and my trip odometer resets to zero, and my LED clock resets to 12 Midnight. Sometimes it happens when you open the door after turning the car off. In the Mini's there is a feature that the windows automatically lower a 1/4 inch when you open the doors, allowing air to escape when you shut the door after exiting. When this happens, sometimes that triggers the "buzz" sound and the reset thing happens. This doesn't seem to effect anything else, its just bothersome because I keep track of my miles with the trip odemeter, and I have to keep correcting the clock. Oh Yeah! one more thing that happens, when i am using the Air Conditioner and slow down after full speed, there is what I would describe as a power surge. All the dash lights go off for a split second then come back on.

Phaeton :: 2006 - Clock Does Not Move Nor Light Up

The clock in my 2006 Phaeton is not working. The time is correctly set in the Settings on the electronic display, but the analogue clock does not move nor light up when the internal lights are on. I was wondering if the clock had its own fuse, but there is no mention of a separate fuse for the clock in the manual. So I don't know which fuse i would need to check or what else might be causing the problem.

Phaeton :: Clock Stopped When Switched Off The Ignition?

I am the very proud owner of a (European) blue 04 V10 with around 65k on the clock, having taken delivery in the spring, it's put a smile on my face almost every day that I've driven it. That's the great part! As with all cars I have some niggles, but yesterday my lovely analogue clock stopped (along with the back illumination) at the moment I switched off the ignition following my 5 mile commute to the office. I suspected a fuse, but on checking the fuse plan in the manual, I couldn't work out which one would be responsible. I will shortly begin removing and inspecting fuses, but I was wondering if this had happened to any other members and what fix was required to get the lovely clock going again. One other bit of information that may be relevant is that it was the first morning that I'd used the heated seat and heated steering wheel since buying the car.

Other minor niggle is that the parking sensors have never worked (I suspect a paint job is responsible).

Phaeton :: Temperature Control For Center Air Vents

How are you supposed to use this switch? (the switch below the clock) I'm also confused how this switch affects the overall pre-set temperature. Is this switch supposed to allow the air conditioning system in the center vents to get colder than the other vents? If so, how can that happen?

Phaeton :: Center Differential - Right Rear Wheel In The Air

Today, whilst changing to my winter tires, I noticed that with just the right rear wheel in the air, it was possible to freely spin it (all 3 other wheels firmly on the ground). Gear was in Park, engine cut

As I understand, the rear axle has an open diff, so the center diff has to spin too. Is this possible for a (Torsen) center diff?

I experience quite annoying speed related vibrations, so was wondering whether this might be an issue.

Camry :: 2007 XLE - Radio And Clock Quit Working / Screen Is Blank

I have a 2007 Camry XLE with a four cylinder engine. Noticed radio and clock quit working. The radio screen is blank. None of the buttons work. Popped hood open to check fuses and noticed corrosion on positive battery terminal. Cleaned battery terminals up and still nothing on radio and clock. Everything else seems to be working correctly. Checked smaller fuses for radio1 and radio 2. Checked all other small fuses in engine compartment and under dash. Still not working. I also pulled battery out and had Oreillys check it. It was good. Not sure what it could be.

Camry :: 2004 - Radio And Clock Not Working After Removing Remote Starter

I was removing a remote starter off of my 04 camry because it no longer worked. After I removed it i noticed that the radio and clock were not working. I checked the blue/red accessory wire on the ignition harness and noticed it looked like it had seen better days. So i decided to make the connect more solid by cutting the weak point and crimping it back together. Now I put the key in and turn it to run and I ONLY get the CEL light, the airbag light and the brake light(parking brake is engaged). I can't utilize the windows, it wont even attempt to crank, the a/c and heat don't work now. I checked all the wires in the area of the ignition harness and all are solid connection (tested with a voltmeter). I have tried to jump start the car with another car as well as unhooking the battery for 2 hours and nothing has changed. I also triple checked every single fuse i can see in the passenger compartment and under the hood and all are good. I also checked the circuit board behind the fuse panel under the dash and everything looked ok.

Sonata I45 (YF - 2011+) :: Clock / Courtesy Lights And Remote Unlock Not Working

Today while driving my clock/temp went out. After I parked, my remote lock/unlock was not working. At first I thought it was a battery issue in my key fob but then remembered the clock going out earlier while driving. Then it dawned on me that a fuse must have gone out. I checked to see which one was the clock fuse (third one over from the left on the top row, 10A) and saw that my add-a-fuse was in that exact slot that powers my interior LED's. I removed it and put in the original low profile 10A fuse to diagnose if this was the issue and the clock did not come back on. I tried several different fuses with no success. My first question is, what could have been damaged since evidently it is not a fuse? Second, could this be an issue that is not covered if I tell them an add-a-fuse was in there? Obviously I will just not mention it and remove it but what could be the issue here?

Toyota - Avalon :: Clock Does Not Keep Correct Time And Auto Lock Not Working

I have a 97 toyota avalon. I just had the battery and alternator changed. Now my clock does not keep correct time (I believe this is only when the car is not running). Also my dome light will not work any longer. My car auto lock does does not lock on its own any more, and if I use the power locks and turn on the dome light, the car unlocks, but the dome light still does not come on. This all started about a week or two ago after installing the alternator.

Phaeton :: TCM / ECM Don't Communicate - Center Vent Door Cracked

What is involved in fixing TCM system and ECM (I could not start my '04 Phaeton, had it towed twice, only to find I needed a switch, frame, and a mechanism [shifter]).

Now I notice the center vent door that goes over the clock has two cracks in it and I also noticed some other scratches on the so-called wood area on the console. What is a TCM, and an ECM, and what would have to be removed to replace brake switch, PRNDL sensor, and shifter mechanism? Before work was done, service writer said the steering column and the center console would have to be removed. I know when I go back to the dealer Monday (2.8.10) there will probably be denial, so I would just like to know in advance what had to be removed.

Phaeton :: Green Cruise Lights Up In The Center Display

When I turn the cruise control on, a green "cruise" lights up in the center display. When I "set" the cruise so it actually holds my speed; no additional lights come on to indicate the cruise is set. I was wondering if this is normal or should there be one light to indicate the cruise system is on and another when the cruise is set. My Phaeton has the standard cruise and does not adjust for distance.
