Lexus RX 2010-15 :: Door Lock / Unlock Indicator - Horn Beep Missing?
Miss the horn beep on my Murano when I locked or unlocked the RX doors. The RX blinks it's lights and I guess there is a dash beep (which I can't hear). I read and read and read the manual but can't find where I can customize to get a horn beep.

I searched Vortex and Googled for quite a while, and already ran through VCDS for a good half hour, but I can't seem to find the option to disable the beep when we lock the car. I have a 2014 1.8T Wolfsburg.
Based on some of the other threads, it looks like it may have been possible to disable it via VCDS in previous years. However, the option is gone for me when I go in now, and I'm wondering if it's no longer possible?
Passat (B6) :: Turning Off Seatbelt Chime And Horn On Lock?
Is there a way to turn off the overzealous seatbelt alarm? It chimes constantly when the seatbelt isn't on, even when the car is in park. Sometimes I unbuckle my seatbelt to get my crap together before I get out of the car, but its hot here so I like to leave the AC running while get set. I know some cars have some obscure series of button presses to turn this off. Also is there a way to stop the horn from honking when I press the lock button on the remote?

My new Passat has the keyless locking system and ATA (anti Theift Alarm) and the ATA confirm is enabled . When I lock the doors the headlights flash but the horn alarm does not sound unless I lockthe doors twice. My 2014 Passat sel with the keylass lock system horn sounded when the doors were locked the first time. Also on the 2014 if the trunk is opened with the doors locked the horn would sound when the trunk lid is closed. This is not the case with the 2016.
I have been in contact with VW customer care. The rep has been trying to resolve the problem to no avail. VW is trying to tell me that due to consumer complaints the 2016 was changed to sound horn on the second locking.
This sounds like a copout to me when the ATA confirm can be disabled in the MFI settings.

So all about the same time as far as I can tell, some electrical type issues cropped up.

The Horn is now making a lower pitch wimpy sound

The 'Hey you left your Lights' on Chime does not always Ding
The Drivers Side Rear passenger Door Lock does not lock/unlock
Since they happen intermittently it would not seem like a fuse issue, more like a relay or loose connector?
Golf/GTI VI :: Car Won't Make The Beep Sound With The Horn
I got my GTI exactly one week ago. I brought it to the car wash today. When I got home and hit the lock with the remote, the car did not make the "beep" sound with the horn. I unlocked it and checked all the doors and the hatch to be sure they were properly closed, and they were. Then, I hit the lock from the remote and the doors locked, but no "beep".

Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: Horn And Chipper Randomly Beep Twice While Driving
2003 Ford F150, 101,000 miles. While driving, the horn beeps twice, and so does the chirper (makes chipping sound). This is the same noise the truck makes when you reconnect the battery after changing it. Its been really cold lately, and seems to get worse when the road is bumpy.

I just bought a 2010 f150 and it came with the single button remote start. I've been reading lots of posts about remote start but none with my issue. Mine when you push the button the horn beeps, ignition comes on, the seat slides forward, then the horn beeps just one time again, and it just sits there with the radio playing and not running. Normally when I lock my '14 'v' I touch the sensor on the drivers door handle and I hear the beep and the doors lock. Today I had one instance when I touched the sensor (bare handed) and the doors didn't lock and I got a continuous beep until I opened the door.
Checked and everything looked OK. All the doors were closed, etc. Tried it 2 or 3 times and the same thing happened. I finally gave up and locked it with the fob, which worked fine. The next time I went to lock it, several hours later, it worked fine.
I couldn't find anything in the manual that would indicate why I got this continuous beep and no door lock. Why it did this?
Prius C :: No Longer Will Beep On Lock / Unlock
When I lock or unlock my Prius C with the handle or the key, it used to beep, now it no longer will beep, I've checked the doors and hood to make sure they are all shut and it will still not beep.
