Prius (2004-09) :: 2005 Air Conditioner Resets Constantly To 75 Degrees
My 2005 Prius, 88K miles, has developed an odd quirk. For about a month, the AC will not retain the last temperature setting. For example, you drive the car, set the temperature to max cold, arrive at your destination, turn the car off and when you start it again the temperature has reset to 75 degrees. Never used to do this before. I'm hoping it is just a module of some sort and not a major AC repair.

2000 1.8t ATW/AEB auto. We completed the motor swap and the car ran/runs perfectly. Everything functions but just outta the blue the aux fan decides to run when the key is on the on position. And no the A/C is not turned on.
Pulling relay 214 does nothing! It still runs. Pulling ALL relays does not do anything...it still runs. It has constant voltage to it while the key is on. The car runs perfect otherwise but the aux fan is incredibly loud and makes the driving experience suck.
Passat (B5) :: 1999 1.8T - Brakes And ABS Lights Constantly On
I bought a 1999 1.8T Passat B5 about 10 months ago. The BRAKE and the ABS lights both were constantly on. The car also beeped at me everytime I turned it on. Obviously, the ABS control module was bad. Then, I bought an used ABS control module online, replaced it and the BRAKE light went off and the beeping stopped as well. The ABS light still stayed on.
Next I had the car scanned (VAGCOM). Below is what it reads. Both right front and rear ABS sensors were bad. I replaced them. The ABS light still stays on. I am wondering what this means:

Is the replaced ABS control module still non functional?
Should I have the car scanned again and reset the light since I replaced both faulty wheel sensors? Is it obvious that the ABS control module still needs to be rebuilt?

Passat (B5) :: ABS Brake Light Flashing Constantly
1999 Passatt ... My ABS system is shot and the "ABS BRAKE!" lights flash constantly, as long as car is on. I have been told to not replace the ABS system as it's incredibly pricey. I was told by another owner that he had heard there was a way to have this blinking stop pretty easily.

I've had my T-reg for almost a year with no problems....until now. I recently bought another car with a tire pressure monitoring system. When I park the two cars close together the TPM on my T-reg picks up signals from the other car, gets confused and (apparently) resets all programs (lights, locks...everything) to factory defaults. I took it to the dealer for this problem twice and they are clueless.

I am having a problem with the stock radio resetting itself after turning off the car.
Just recently had to replace the battery which was not an issue. After the new battery was installed I set the clock, cabin temp, and radio stations. Came back to the car later, turned it on and noticed the radio was off. Hit the power button and it came on with the default stations, volume settings, etc. This happens every time the car is turned off and left for more than a few minutes. What's odd the clock and temperature controls DO keep their settings. It's only the radio that's the problem and resets back to it's defaults.
How to correct this?

So everything in my car has no memory issues but my clock always says 1:00 ... when I start the car....
I have tried another control unit (the climate control, nav screen, etc buttons) where the clock is located to see if I had a bad unit and it still did the same thing.
I have a brand new battery from Lexus and everything else in the car seems to be fine....this was an issue before I bought the new battery.
Lexus LS 2007+ :: Climate Control Resets Itself When Set On Auto
I usually set my climate control to 78 degrees and leave it on Auto, but whenever I leave the car for more than 5 hours then the climate control somehow resets itself.
The "Auto" light would stay illuminated for about 15 seconds, then it turns off and "Air Conditioner Off" flashes on the Nav screen. Then when I press the "Auto" button again, the climate displays 75 degrees. This has happened everyday for the last 3 weeks or so.

Had my 2015 GTI for two months now and I've been experiencing so minor issues with my stereo. Sometimes when I start the car it will reset the radio to 87.7FM which is completely static and not an actual radio station does it completely at random. Second issue that I've had is when my Ipod is plugged in it won't allow me to change the song, either from the screen or from the steering wheel. The only way to get it to work again is pulling over and restarting the car.

Well this past week I have been getting the ESP light lit in my cluster during my weekly commutes. 1st: My car is a 2005 05 V8 model with 96K miles. The ESP light resets every time when the car is turned off and comes on after driving (varies), no hard CEL triggering with the condition. I notice yesterday that the ESP light comes on faster when I am coming up a hill. Yesterday when I started out on flat ground the light was off most of the trip (about 10 miles), it wasn't until I hit the hill on my way home that it illuminated (the final mile of my trip). One other major symptom, the Cruise Control does not "SET"; Cruise turns on and I see the indicator in the cluster, but when I hit the set function, it doesn't set the speed control. This happens both before and after the ESP light illuminates.
I have a VAD Pro and I ran a scan, both at the halt and on the move, the ESP light does NOT throw out a DTC in the ABS module or any others. However, their is one persistent fault that reoccurs (00526), faulty brake light switch; the Ross Tech site stated this is normal in some Automatic transmissions; if you do not push the brake pedal before the scan. My brake lights work fine & I understand their is two sets of contacts in the switch. Again, this DTC (00526) does not set the CEL. But, I am not ruling out a faulty brake light switch.

Santa FE SM (2001-06) :: 2005 - Clock Resets At Random
I am the happy owner of a white 2005 Santa Fe 2.7l with 105,000 miles on her. Trying to figure out why the dashboard clock resets itself at random.It doesn't do it while I'm in it or driving. Only when I return to it when parked at a store or wherever, or mornings. The car seems to have plenty of juice when running. New alternator and battery were installed last November. Triple-checked those parts and cleaned some connections under the hood.

I have a 2006 Explorer XLT. Each time I drive it, the trip miles have been reset to zero, and the gas mileage re-starts at zero, and the truck seems to not run as smoothly as it does in the midst of a couple hundred mile trip.
If I stop for gas and take the key out and open the door, the ECM seems to reset itself back to factory defaults. It don't seem to store anything. It seems like there may be a blown fuse for memory storage or something similar, but I haven't found a blown fuse anywhere. It acts like it would if you remove the battery ground and touch it to the positive to reset the ECM.
Which fuse this may be and its location? Is there another possibility of failure?
