Avalon 2005-12 :: Smart Key - No Seat Movement Upon Door Unlock
Just bought a 2012 limited Avalon and am trying to link smart key door unlock to seat memory. Have followed directions in manual (ignition off, door closed, seat set to desired position - press 2 and unlock at same time, hear beep). After doing this process, I move the drivers seat and close and lock drivers door and wait until lights go out. No seat movement upon door unlock. Have to press seat memory position button to move seat back.

OK. I have done some searching and see that there are a few different options for motor, trans, and snub mounts. I am going to have them all replaced on my 99 1.8T wagon that currently has 130K with a manual trans. The only mods so far are Meyle HD control arms and 16" rims with Continental Extreme Contact Tires. I am looking for less movement in the drivetrain when accelerating and I want to get more power to the wheels. I am looking for an upgrade from OEM but do not need something track stiff. I care more about handling and performance than I do noise and vibration. But my wife also drives this car so it can not be ridiculous. I am thinking of the RS4 mounts mostly because they are an "OEM" upgrade. Which mounts do you like and WHY? Cost is not a factor.

I recently installed an updated 13.1 navigation disk for my car, all is working well. However on occasion at start up the navigation round icon bounces to a location down the road from my actual location, like I pushed the screen?? However my location on the screen is accurate.
I thought at first I may have pushed a button or something but quickly figured out it does it on its own. I can hit the map button and all is good.
So I tried the old disk and it still does it, in the few months I have had the car its never done this.
So maybe did the new disk screw something up??
I just don't want to push another button to start the navigation since I did not have to do it before.
Passat (B5) :: High / Erratic Idle When Raining
The other day when it was raining out my car started idling below 1,000RPM/running rough. I was thinking it might be the coils, so I changed those, cleaned out my TB (Throttle Body), did a TB alignment (with VAG-COM) and now my car is idling at 1,200RPM and jumping up to about 1,600-1,800RPM, like I'm constantly revving it. I even swapped out my whole TB from my A4 and it still does it! If I disconnect the throttle position sensor it seems to idle normal.

From the first day i bought this car i had a strange noise coming under the hood. Every time i leave my car for at least 2 hours parked and then started, when i do a few meters i hear a noise like a hydraulic valve comes in place and my brake pedal does a small movement. After that everything is normal.

I have a 2006 Camry and the front driver seat is making a rubbing/friction noise when moving it forward and backward- mainly in the back half track, and of course it is worse when sitting on the seat.
I checked closely and it seams that the seat has a little wiggle side to side when moving on the track. Not sure if this is normal (the wiggle) and if it just needs lubrication, or a track adjustment? It started last week and sounded worse yesterday when sitting on it.
The motor and all other seat functions work/sound fine.
Azera TG (2006-11) :: Passenger Power Seat Failure
I have an 06 Azera LTD with about 40k on it. Recently the passenger power seat stopped working. Only going forward, all other directions work. Now the seat is all the way back with no way to move it up. Can't be a fuse, but maybe a loose connection?

I recently purchased a 2006 Chevy 2500HD pickup truck. The previous owner installed what looks like a power seat from a Ford. It's a very nice seat, probably much better that the Chevy seat but even though power is wired up doesn't work. Where can I find the wiring diagram for both the truck and the seat? The problem is the seat has been adjusted for a slightly taller person than myself which I may be able to overcome with a thin cushion and seat back cushion for myself. However my wife and my daughter are both shorter than me so the seat will need adjustment for them to safely and comfortably to drive it.

just got a new Passat 2008, 6 MT, when I go on the freeway the passenger seat belt winding starts rattling, I have to buckle it for the rattling to stop. also, it seems like the passenger seat appears to be vibrating but the car itself is fine.

I am able to operate my power drivers seat in all position except for reverse. My wife was the last one to drive and the seat is stuck in almost the full forward position. I can move the seat forward but not in reverse.
I've already looked under the seat for blockages along the railing and didn't see anything. I would try to remove the seat, but its positioned too far forward to access where I think the bolts would be. I did notice one unconnected wiring harness coming up from the floor under the seat, but it looks like it doesn't go to anything. Maybe its for models with heated seats or something because I don't have heated seats. My car by the way is a 2009 sonata GLS.

Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: 2006 F250 - Passenger Seat Won't Move Forward
Bought this truck (06 F250 cclb diesel) earlier this year and (as far as the seat is concerned) worked perfectly until about 2 weeks or so ago, when I learned that the passenger power seat works in every direction except for to move the seat back. Since every one that got in the truck didn't believe me and now the seat is almost at the glove box I finally decided I should do something about it. I have removed the fuse and let is sit with the the fuse out for about an hour, no change. I had read on another fourm that if you recline the seat back a few times it resets the module, attempted with no change. It is to the point I need to get into a bit more serious diagnostic processes however I am unsure exactly where to start.

I'm currently moving cross-country from LA to St. Louis. Had routine maintenance done b4 I left. I've only made it to New Mexico so far b/c my car is losing power after logging 250 mi. RPM's also become erratic. Doesn't completely stall, but won't let me go more than 45mi/h. After a rest break, the problem doesn't re-create.
At my first mechanic stop, the computer checked-out as ok. That mechanic changed the spark plugs and also told me the 2004 has no fuel filter (fuel filter being my suspicion of what was wrong).
Today it lost power again. Jim Bob at a rural garage said maybe the alternator or fuel pump. I have an appt. at Pep Boys tomorrow, as the dealers don't have any avail appts. until Fri.
The contents of my apt. are in the trunk and backseat. Is it worth it to remove them (to get to the fuel pump) at the cost of another hotel day, or should I limp home at 250 mi. a stretch?
Passat (B5) :: 1999 - No Power To Glove Box Light / Memory Function On Driver Seat Not Working
99 Passat GLX Electrical Gremlins!! Glove box light, out, no power to light, fuse perfect, bulb fine. wiring fine. Also memory function on driver seat not functioning. All power adjustments on seat fine. I think problems are linked. Looking forward to access to wiring diagram? Seems to be a open circuit somewhere.
