Prius V :: 2013 - Auxiliary Port / Cell Phone Charger Plastic Ripped Off
While I was pulling out my charger from the port of my brand new 2013 Prius Two, the whole plastic housing the auxiliary/charger ripped off. Nothing was damaged, nor was any plastic bits pulled off. I bought a new auxiliary battery online and installed it. I reset the driver's side power window. But my CD changer now beeps four times, all the lights turn green and orange, and I cannot play a CD from the changer or eject any of the discs. Both discs currently stuck in it are store bought Third Eye Blind CDs with no stickers, labels, etc.
I'm assuming that the CD player needs to be reset. Someone in another thread mentioned unplugging the battery for 20 seconds, while someone else said I need to enter a code that I can get from the dealer. I can go without the changer but the beeping is maddening.

So today after I got done working for 9 hours today, I start my car and immediately I hear my auxiliary fan running on high as if I had the AC running. Unfortunately the car was still cold when it started and being that it was in the high 50s when I left work, I had no need to turn the AC on. Why the fan is running on high even when the car is cold. I am wondering if it could be the auxiliary fan switch. And if it is, where exactly is it located.

I have a 2006 GMC Sierra with 90,000 miles and a 5.3 engine. Never any issues but I've noticed that when I start the truck up the electric auxiliary fan comes on immediately. This is when the truck is cold and the fan should not be needed. Never had any issues with it overheating or anything. Is this just a sensor gone out or something or is it normal? If it is a sensor which one is it and where would it be located?

Ford A/C :: 2006 F250 - High Side Service Port Schrader Valve Leaking
I have a 2006 F-250 6.0 diesel. The high side service port schrader valve is leaking. Currently there is a charge on the system but its low. I planned on evac-ing the system, replace the cores and refill until i came across this valve remove/replacement tool from MasterCool. The only problem i have is not knowing whether or not this tool fits the valve cores I have. I see already that the high side is quite a large core. I cant even find a core removal tool at local auto parts stores to fit. What size my valve cores are or if the following would fit both high and low sides?

I have this problem code P0405. At fist it come up with a turbo under boost. I have replaced the Turbo and egr valve and I still have the P0405. I did notice a oily residual in the port for the egr valve I see no deference in coolant. She idles good I just have no power when I put it in gear to move.

On my '06 XL F350 I want to know if and how I can hook up an auxiliary input. It has the AUX button ,but it doesn't have any aux audio port in the dash anywhere like some of the nicer F-series have. When I push the AUX button, the screen reads "NO AUX AUDIO". Is there an adapter I can buy to plug in the back so I can actually have and auxiliary input?

Okay, this is my problem. I bought a HID kit for my 08 Passat and did a little searching and found that I need to get into the computer and change the settings to where it thinks I have the Xenon lights already. If I didn't do it, that it would burn my ballast So I spoke to someone who knows about Vw's. Was told to download the software from Ross-tech and instead of paying the $300 for the VAG-COM, that I could get one off Ebay and I would be good to go. But to my surprise, I downloaded everything, got my OBD-II wire but I keep on getting error codes and cant get into the computer to change anything. I have installed and deleted the program, spent hours trying to fix.

I just bought this grill [URL].... and it fits great. However, the grill does not come with a emblem so I was just going to put mine from my 06 Passat on but it is a lot smaller than the opening on the new one. Am I just missing something here, or are there different size grill emblems on some cars? Or is my new grill just messed up?
