I can get it started and let it idle for an hour....idles smoothe. As soon as I try to move the car or step on the throttle...it stalls.

When I have my a/c on, every time I step on the throttle it changes where the air comes out of the vents . Under normal power the air blows out the front vents, step on the throttle and it switches to defrost , let back off and it goes back to normal.?????

A question for you 3.6 owners. I have a 2006 3.6 Sport that I love, but I have this throttle thunking that drives me nuts. What happens is, when I'm going about 25- 30 miles per hour at around 2000 rpms and let of the gas for a second or two, then just lightly punch the pedal, I get this slappy thunky noise that I hear and feel.
I've had it to two different dealers and both told me they can't find anything wrong and it's normal. They acknowledge that they hear and feel it, but again tell me it's normal.
I've driven a lot of cars and never felt this sensation, so to me, it's abnormal. Since I've never driven another 3.6 I have nothing to compare it to and of course both the dealers didn't have a V6 on the lot for me to drive to verify that it is indeed "normal".

i just got a 2008 FEH 100K paid 11500 out the door 12800 is that a good deal? everything is clean. It has the upgraded sound system but i noticed that some feh have the mpg displayed on the screen it look like the feh with navigation not sure if this is seperate from nav or just part of touch screen. in any case is it possible to just install the stock dvd/nav stereo to get the mpg avg screen? if so is ther a guide
also is there a good read around here for new feh owners? looking to get the most mpg out of this ride.
Passat (B7) :: 2012 TDI SEL - AC Cuts Out When Step On Brakes
Love my 2012 TDI SEL. Lately I have noticed that it seems that the AC cuts out when I step on the brakes. I typically notice when I get off the freeway and come to a stop at the end of the off-ramp. The air coming out of the vents will be warm for some 5 - 10 seconds then get cold again.
I have also noticed this symptom from time to time when cruising along on the freeway. I know that some cars will disengage the AC if you really step hard on the gas, but that's not what's going on here it seems..... I have never had that happen in any other car. Is this normal for the 2012 Passat?

Just purchased my 2007 Passat 3.6 FWD and we just love it but having hesitation problem? This only happens from a stop, when you step on the accelerator it seems to have a delay of a second or two before the engine response.

I'm sure it's something worse, because I've had very bad luck with my 02 Volkswagen Passat. Since last Wednesday, my car has been stuttering when I step on the gas in the early gears but when you get to about 30-40mph it runs fine with an occasional light stutter. Saturday the check engine light came on, then went off. Yesterday it came on while on the highway and has not shut off yet.
My VW has 105K miles on it and hasn't had a tune up since 50K. Does it need a tune up or isn't it something else if the check engine light comes on? If it is a tune up, is it possible to do it yourself? I don't really tinker with engines much, but I like to think I can be somewhat handy. I've changed my brakes and rotars, headlights and other things. Is it just spark plugs, oil and air filters?

I have a 2003 volkswagen passat, front wheel drive with a 1.8t. I was told that I could get more boost out of my turbo without having to do any major modifications. Is it possible or not. Because as it stands right now I am completely lost when it comes to this.

I have a 2001 Honda Odessey with 114K miles. When I step on the accelerator I hear a whistling sound. The sound sounds louder as the RPMs go up. However I don't hear the sound when I take my foot off the gas or when the RPMs are 1,000 or less. What the sound is and what I should do? Windstar :: Rubber Squeaking Noise When Step On Brakes / Changes As Wheels Turn

I recently replaced wheel bearing on Front driver side, the noise was present before replacement. When I step on the brakes I hear a squeaking sound like a rubber bushing squeaking, also it changes as the wheels turn. I have also cleaned the brake rotor but have not had it turned for being warped, could this be the piston seal in the caliper or pins.
