Chrysler - 300 :: 2008 - Won't Start - Installed / Uninstalled Transmission Several Times
I bought my 2008 Chrysler 300 used at a car auction and its been running fine for the past couple years. About two months ago the transmission needed repair so I took it out and took it to a mechanic to get fixed. All i had to do was install the transmission back into my car. My car was still running when i took it to the mechanic. Once I picked it up from the mechanic i have been installing and uninstalling the transmission several times and yet my car still won't turn on. I don't want to have to buy a new one...

I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla 1.8L, the base model.
I recently had a check engine light, VSC off light (blinking) and traction control light come on. I took it to Autozone and had a p0037 code ring up for a new Bank 1 Sensor 2 oxygen sensor (downstream). I believe I have found the correct sensor (located under car, approximately near drivers seat) and it looks simple to replace, aside from the fact that the wires go through the car body.
Can confirm that I have located the correct sensor? And if so, what is the best way to get to where the wires connect?
Is it located under the drivers seat? What should I do about the rubber grommet located under the car where the wires appear to pass through?

I have replaced the 02 Sensor, Passenger Side (Pre-Cat), with a Motorcraft DY831...
I reset the Check Engine fault codes, and took it out for a 50 mile journey... Check Engine light is back on, with the same exact code... What next?
I understand that it may be a fuse, and/or it may be a short in the wiring... Exactly how to test the wiring from the connector at the 02 Sensor all the way back to wherever I need to test?
I really need detailed directions, like wire colors, voltage required, or ohms, or whatever is included in this process...
Toyota - Camry :: Heated O2 Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2 Is Failing
I just had an OBD code pulled on my 2010 Camry and it turns out that my Heated O2 sensor for Bank 1 Sensor 2 is failing. I'd rather do this myself if I can but I can't figure out where this thing is. Is this something I can access myself and swap out? Or does this need to be fixed by a mechanic?

I took the car out for a little spin about 8 miles. We where about .5 of a mile from the house and there is a section where you have to stop on a little bit of a hill. I stalled the car due to the new Dm clutch then headed to the house and the car started to run like crap. I hooked up VAGCOM and had this code:
17748.P1340 camshaft position sensor-G40/ Engine speed sensor-G28: incorrect allocation(#1)
I swapped out the 2 cam position sensors and cleared the code and started the car and it still ran like crap. I just happen to have a new Cam position sensor(hall sensor) so I swapped it out in both cam positions one at a time and cleared the code and the car still runs like crap.
Is there a way to check(test) with vagcom to see if its one of the engine speed sensors?

I recently picked up a 2000 jetta vr6 for a very good price its a glx I have owned a vr6 before and done timing chains myself on it this one is a glx , I am having 5 fault engine codes on my vagcom they are cam position sensor , knock sensor, secondary injection pump, and mass air flow it ran fine 100 miles yesterday this morning the epc came on then went off and ran bad can these codes all be related or do I have to replace each sensor individually..

For some reason the MAF Sensor always goes bad on my car. I've had to replace it a few times already. Any better quality MAF sensor I can buy. Sometimes if I clean the sensor it will work again but otherwise I have to replace it.

Just yesterday on the way to the shop (Phantom Autowerke) I hit a bump and my cel immediately came on. Car is running the same, boost is the same just have the cel on my dash. When i got to the shop they used to the vag com to see what are the faults. Turned out to be my 2nd and 3rd 02 sensor. The owner informs me that it may be a tuning issue.
I have spacers on both the 2nd and 3rd 02 sensor, not the 1st (but that one is not the issue here). Owner of Phantom tells me to ask John if they gave me GIAC file for someone with a cat. John informs me that GIAC software is meant for people running a cat. which I was not aware of however i have never had a cel before and before and after the stage 2 Giac software I had no cel.
Now my 02 sensors can not be bad considering my car only has 9,400 miles.
Passat (B5) :: Possible MAF Sensor Malfunction

Was told it COULD be :
1) Mass air flow sensor
2) Crankcase breather

The car seems to be dogging when I slow down at lights or take corners and whatnot. It did have trouble turning over but chalked that up to not running it for a day and it being -20 degrees for a stretch. I was told it would be easy to rule out the MAF sensor by running the car and unplugging the sensor, and drive it a bit. Is this recommended? If so, where on earth is this dang thing? I followed the hose from the air filter housing cover down towards the engine but cannot see it. What am i looking for here? I hoped it would be easier to find from all the forums and videos i've seen but none working on passats in those videos. Can it be easily accessed? The guy at the VW dealership in town said its tough to get at, but so is money. I should have said that. Dang it.
Passat (B6) :: Shutting Off O2 Sensor?
I am pretty close to buying a B6 Passat 2.0t, but it has some mods on it. GIAC stage 2, with cat-less 3" down the pipe. the guy says he has tried almost everything he has read to get the light off and its not working. He even has a O2 sensor spacer on it. How I can get it shut off??

so I have been getting a 'hiccup' if u want to call it that, with the tps sensor and/or throttle bodie. every so often I like to scan my car for kicks :p and noticed that (not all the time) my g188 or g187 tps leave a code but no CEL. I know I been getting an odd bog like feel when flooring from a stand still or low RPM and have done some reading on it, the tps could be related to that and since I do get a code but no failure I want to see if maybe it's going bad? also since the tb and tps are one unit and $$$ how often do they go bad?

Touareg :: Brake Sensor Just Went Off
My brake sensor just went off at just above 30k miles. She's due in for the 30k service anyway. I've already got the front and rear pads and front rotors ready to install. Those were ordered from Geoff at Allretta some months ago. How long before the remaining pad is worn down completely? Or is this like a "bring it in right away" thing?
I was hoping that the rear rotors would have arrived prior to my sensors going off. Now I suppose I'll just have to swap out the rear pads and reorder new pads when the rotors are available from Allretta.
