Lexus RX 2010-15 :: 2013 RX350 - Footwell Lights Not Illuminate When Driving
Does the 2013 RX350 footwell lights not illuminate when driving as they did on previous models? I also do not see a light on the interior door handles.

I find it a little concerning that I can actually drive off in our RX350 without the key fob in it. I know there is a warning on the dash, but that doesn't stop someone from stealing it. May be a park lock out would be a better solution.

Recently when starting RX350 the check engine light and Check AWD lights went on. Driving the car for a short distance it idled very roughly and had no power (could not exceed 50mph). Drove home, shut car off, and restarted within 5 minutes. All lights went out, and car performed well. No problems since....what could have caused this problem?

New owner of 2014-RX350. I have figured out most stuff simply using the owners manual (go figure), but this one continues to stump me, as I have repeated the procedure right out of the owners manual without success.
Manual states to have only one fob or card present, car in park, "ignition on" position (I interpret this as two pushes to the ignition switch), push desired memory button and hold while pushing either lock or unlock button till chime sounds. I get the chime. But when I lock the door, wait a minute, and unlock the door by touching the handle, the car unlocks just fine, but seat does nothing. When I manually push L2 (in my case), the seat does indeed move into position. But I cannot for the life of me get this function to work.
Lexus RX 2010-15 :: 2013 RX350 - Puddle Lights Do Not Turn On When Touch Handles To Unlock Doors
I've looked in the owner's manual, but only find that they exist, no instructions on turning them on. I know I can unlock the doors with the key fob at night and the lights will come on, including the puddle lights on the bottoms of the rear view mirrors. If I touch the door handles instead of using the key fob (my preferred method of unlocking the vehicle), the doors unlock, but the puddle lights do not come on.
I would also like to be able to turn them on when I am getting ready to exit the car, especially so the wife does not step in a puddle.

2013 RX 350. Noticed the driver's side mirror vibrate or shake a lot more while driving on some bumpy roads and freeways?
Compared to the passenger side which is pretty stable and to a 2012 RX 350 which is stable too.
Lexus RX 2010-15 :: 2012 RX350 - Road Noise Transmitted Back Into Cabin When Driving On Rough Road Surface
My 2012 RX350 now for over a year and like it a lot.........BUT.
There's seems to be a lot "road noise" that's transmitted back into the cabin, like driving over expansion joints on blacktop or rough road surface, is this normal?
I drove a 2000 RX300 for 100,000 miles and don't remember it being this noisy. Interior noise is great and quiet.
Lexus RX 2004-09 :: 2007 RX350 - Airbag Lights Comes On Once In A While
My parents have a 2007 RX350 and they had the airbag light come on once in a while. I have the car right now so I could figure out the issue for them and get it fixed.
The light wouldn't come on for the first couple days and it off today for a while until I move the seat fully backward and then forward. After I restarted the vehicle the light came on.
I got to work and tried tightening all connectors under the seat and the light did go off and stay off but I didn't drive it after that.
When the light is on it blinks in the 1-second on / 1-second off pattern. When my dad's friend-mechanic checked it out, he said that the description of the code he could read was something like "open [squib] circuit connector", unfortunately, he can't remember.
Lexus RX 2010-15 :: Dashboard Lights Going Out Whilst Driving
We were on a long drive on the motorway and suddenly noticed that the dashboard lights went out. The clock and GPS map were dark. They came back on but would intermittently go off. The dealer will be checking this for us (it is a new 450h, we have now 3000 miles on it; it is 9 months old. Perhaps a loose connection ? (We love this car but still not familiar with all of the electronics!)...

Looking for a new luxury SUV - had a 2001 RX-300 and put 230,000 miles on it and gave it to my daughter. The local Lexus dealer seems to have only AWD models and is not real useful in getting a FWD stripper (don't want nav, etc.) The local Acura dealer has several base MDX's in FWD and seems more useful. Drove both AWD versions and thought the Acura was much better handler and better road feel. Am leaning towards Acura but don't know about service costs and long term reliability - we will keep either car for 12 years probably. What say you? Doesn't seem to be a decent Acura MDX forum out there.

I have a 2013 RX and the other day experienced the ABS Malfunction lights coming on while driving on the fwy. The error went away when I turned off/on the car. I did take my car in last April to get the recall fix on this error (which was just a software update apparently).
The dealer is saying that they will do the diagnostics, but if they can't find anything, then there's nothing else they can do AND I'm responsible for a $175 diagnostic fee. Perhaps I have unrealistic expectations, but I don't feel that I should have to pay $175 for them to do the diagnostic work since the error did occur.

I have HID low beams and Halogen high beams on my 2015 RX 350. I'd like to set the HID low beams just a touch higher. The manual shows where the adjustment screws are located, but does not indicate which way (clockwise or counter-clockwise) to turn the screw to raise the position of the headlight. Yes I could just start turning one way or the other to figure it out...

While doing regular checkup on my car, I noticed that both radiator fans (left and right) are on when the engine is on even though the A/C is not running. Is this normal? Is this a minor issue that needs to be resolved? No faults on the dashboard btw.

I heard noises like a small pump noise and a hissing air sound above the muffler area. The car had been sitting for hours and no key fob close to it. I was climbing under it looking at something else when I heard it. Sounds like a tiny electric motor running with an air hiss. Passenger side. Just bought the vehicle last week. It has 27k miles on it. Had to replace battery the other day. Said battery was replaced a year ago. Wonder if this is hurting the battery? Start great in the morning. Vapor fuel pump?
