Lexus RX 2010-15 :: Protruding Shift Lock Button?
Why my car is fitted with a shift lock button cover and when needed, has to yank out the cover and use the key and cause a lot of scratch damages ? The European LHD and the Asian RHD RX each has a convenient push button shift release.) I want to change the compression spring and the button.

Is there a way to have the 2011 RX350 lock all of the doors/trunk automatically when I press the close buton on back of trunk?
Once I press trunk close button on back of trunk, it seems have to wait until it closes before I can lock he entire car and walk away?
If I press the lock button too early, I get the alarm.
Lexus LS 2007+ :: Hold Key Fob Lock Button To Close Windows?
The other day I got out of the car and forgot to close the windows. So I tried to hold the key fob LOCK button to close them. Nothing. Yet holding the UNLOCK will OPEN them? Now how often will someone want to OPEN windows with the FOB versus close? Put another way, I am assuming that there IS a definitive way to use the FOB to CLOSE the windows/roof but I can't figure it out.
As an aside, I guess I a bit "slow". I JUST figured out, after almost 2 years of ownership, that the CD player will read MP3 files...hundreds on 1 disc versus about 20 song on an old style CD.
Lexus GS 2006-11 :: Keyless Entry Button To Unlock And Lock Car Not As Loud As Before
I have a 2006 Lexus GS 300 and I have had the car for almost two years now. I have noticed that when I use my keyless entry button to unlock and lock the car, its not as loud as it was in the past. My key fobs all have new batteries in them (2 kays for the car). Could this mean that I need a battery soon? When I first got the car, the "beep beep" noise from when you lock and unlock the car was louder, now you can barely hear it.

2010 ES350, 84,000 miles. I have seen many threads on door locking/unlocking issues but none quite like mine that I've been able to locate. The key fob stopped locking the doors a few weeks ago, neither will the lock button on the drivers door inside the car. No sounds, beeps, lights or mechanical attempts to lock the doors. There are no indicator lights or messages suggesting an issue.
I can go around and manually lock all the doors, hit the lock on the key fob, and the car will beep and light up as if the locks worked fine. I also manually locked each door separately and in all combinations, the only combination which will enable the beep as if the door locks work with the fob is if they are all locked. The fob will unlock the doors however, unlocking has not been an issue.
My first attempt to correct was to disconnect the battery for a few minutes, reconnect and they worked fine for a week or so. The next time, with all the same symptoms, disconnecting the battery did nothing, the fob, however did start working a day or two later. The third time it happened we took the car directly to the dealership who has had it for 5 days and have been unable to identify an issue (the fob started to work on day 3).

I have a 2007 AWD GS350. Came out to no power - jumped it - got a new battery. Now it's as if the window lock button doesn't function. Passenger side switch will operate the Windows but not from the driver's side switch?

Prius (2010-12) :: Regen Braking Force Less At Higher Speeds At Over 45 MPH Or 70 KMPH
I have noticed recently that I seem to be getting less regen braking force than I used to. Particularly noticeable at higher speeds at over 45MPH or 70 KMPH. The regen seems to have very little effect now until I have slowed down. I seem to have to use much more brake than I remember recently. And by the way the battery in not nearly fully charged....Regen does come on but seems to have very little slowing power....

Car still vibrates between 65 on up. However it is intermittent. Sometimes it will vibrate at 70. Sometimes smooth as silk.
I got the car road force balanced all wheels are between 6-7 lbs. I am going to go to the shop have them lift it up and check the lower ball joints and all the control arms.
QUESTION: Can I just replace a ball joint or do i have to replace the entire arm? Is the ball joint connected to the control arm in any way?

Both enter buttons , nav and menu button not working.(mouse) Navigation is working and there is display. When i put movie it start automatically.

A lot of times I jump out of the car to grab stuff but my wife and kid stay in the car and would like the radio to stay on but with the engine off.
Is there a quick way to go from engine on to just electricity on?
Or is it 2 step process, press start button to turn engine off, then press start button again to go to electricity only on?

I just got a 2015 RX, loving it so far, I have been able to fiddle around with some settings to get it the way I want like keyless unlock drivers side door to unlock all doors, keeping iPod screen on with auto changing to maps, and track up on Navi.
However I cannot figure out how to get windows to go down but not sunroof when I hold the unlock button? Is there a way?

I just bought an used 2010 RX350. It has a button on the key that automatically opens the trunk, a button on the left of the drivers side that automatically opens the trunk and the button on the trunk that automatically closes it (so you don't manually close it). But after I bought it, I noticed that when I push the button on the underside of the trunk it does NOT automatically open.
