View 2 RepliesLexus GS 2006-11 :: CD / DVD Player Won't Play Or Eject Any Of Discs
My ML player all of a sudden won't play or eject any of the discs that are in it. I was watching a DVD waiting for my wife and it must have had a scratch on it because the picture got stuck. I ended up turning it off to listen to the radio. The next day when trying to play a CD all I get is a light grinding/churning noise like the mechanism is stuck or something.

View 6 RepliesFord F-150 - 1997-2003 :: CD Player Refuses To Eject Any Of The Discs - Error
I have an 03 F-150 XLT with the 6 disc changer, and I can't get the dang thing to eject. It plays most of the cds fine (sometimes it won't play a certain couple of the six that are in the changer, and reads "CD ERROR" after trying to play the disc for a moment) but it refuses to eject any of the discs. It pushes them out just a little bit and then errors. I've attempted to pull the disc out once its pushed itself out a little, but it won't release them.
I then have to mess with it for several minutes to get it to retake the disc and quit pushing it out again, and then a few more to quit erroring when I change it to disc. I've tried to disconnect the battery (I read in a forum that that sometimes works) but to no avail. I know its a frequent issue with these. I figure I can pull the stereo out and take it apart to get the discs, but how can I fix the issue for good?
Lexus RX 2004-09 :: Error 4 On CD Player
I am able to reproduce an error on my 2005's audio system. What "Error 4" means? I have to actually turn off the car to reset the CD player.
Here's how I reproduce it:
Background:It's a non-ML system
6-CD changer, cassette, AM/FM
I have six CD's loaded into the system
Steps:When listening to FM radio, push the CD button
Press the "Disk" up-arrow button rapidly (it is the radio station preset #4 button) to change disks. I usually cycle through five or six rapid disk changes, normally going from Disk 1 to Disk 6, in a fast manner.
Sure enough, after the fourth or fifth (maybe sixth) button press, "Error 4" flashes on the display. At this point, I can't do anything with the CD player. I can, however, switch to radio and listen as usual.
To reset the error message and to begin using the CD player again, I have to turn off the ignition. Turning off just the audio system doesn't reset the error.
Ford Audio/Video System :: 2010 - Nav / CD Eject Button Not Working - Display Saying Eject Error?
I was adding some CD music to my jukebox on the stock 2010 Ford NAV radio today. I hit the eject button, but the disc did not come out. I tried hitting eject a few times with no luck. Only once when I hit the eject button did it make any noise like it was trying to eject. The screen read "Eject Error". How to get the disc out?
View 1 RepliesCamry :: CD Player - MP3 Disc Won't Load Or Eject
I can't get my CD out. It was an MP3 disc, it won't load, and it won't eject. I thought maybe I took it out and forgot but it still says CD IN and I can see it. How can I get this out?

Actually it does eventually but you never know when it is ready to eject so I am afraid to use it anymore.
View 1 RepliesAccent MC (2006-11) :: 2007 - CD Player (Cannot Eject The Disk)
Accent 2007 year, 3-door.
I'm having a problem with MP3/CD Player that came along with the car, i.e. I didn't install it myself. Basically, after I inserted CD, I can't eject it back, nor can I switch in CD mode, by pressing CD button.
It looks like it jammed inside. Is there any way to work around and retrieve the disk, or the player must be disassembled for this?
CD didn't have defects or scratches, the surface is ideal.
Touareg :: Undersized CD Stuck Into The Dash CD Player And It Won't Eject?
I have the basic radio and my 7 year old stuck an undersize round CD into the player which won't eject it, won't recognize it, and won't mount another regular disc. The dealer says that I need to send the whole player off to be repaired and that they have no tool to fuss with it for this - I know that undersize discs are a problem for the computer industry, sadly, my little guy jumped into the car and did this without my foreknowledge. We were preparing to leave the house.

View 1 RepliesLexus RX 2004-09 :: Nav DVD Will Not Eject
2008 Lexus RX400h... Granted, she rarely if ever uses the navigation system, but I have the latest edition DVD and would like to install it. Unlike several of the threads I found when searching here and the world wide web, I know where the nav system is and how to eject the disk. Unfortunately, the slide and push mechanism will neither slide nor push and therefore the disk will not eject. I tried ejecting the disk with the key in the accessory, on and engine running positions. I also removed and unplugged the DVD and let it sit for over an hour. All to no avail.
View 1 RepliesHonda - Accord :: CD Player Does Not Play Discs Above Freezing Temps
The CD player (6 disk changer) in my 2006 Honda Accord will not play disks above freezing temperatures. (To clarify, it is the model without the GPS.) I say temperatures because the playable cut-off usually fluctuates between 30 and 36 degrees F. Below that temperature, the disk plays fine.
Above that temperature, I will be lucky to get 15 seconds of play before the disk begins to skip and eventually error out. Additionally, the disk will skip and error after the cabin warms up. Over the last 9 or so months, this has been consistent behavior.
I first noticed this last summer in very hot weather when a disk began to skip. Since then, there is only one disk that plays reliably in any weather.
TrailBlazer :: 2004 - OEM DVD Player Occasionally Displaying Disc Format Error Across The Screen
The OEM DVD player in my '04 started having problems with occasionally displaying a disc format error across the screen. The movie usually still plays, but the lettering is stays on the screen. If you go back through the menus it will sometimes go away or you just have to eject and reload the DVD. Now it does it pretty much everytime we turn the player on.
View 8 RepliesLexus GX 2004-09 :: Cannot Get Rear Screen To Come On Or DVD To Play
I'm new owner of 2003 GX and just tried to play a DVD in the rear seats for the first time. DVD loader is below glove compartment, passenger side, and monitors are in the headrests. Was able to get power on via the remote, and load the DVD, but could not get the rear screens to come on or the DVD to play. Perhaps the little white rear seat remotes weren't working? Is there another way to get it all going once the DVD is inserted? Couldn't find anything in our owners manual that explained.

View 5 RepliesLexus GX 2004-09 :: No Sound At All From Radio Or CD Player
My wife went to start up her 2006 GX470 and there was no sound from the radio or CD player.
All the lights and buttons seem to be working properly but no sound at all. I suspect it may be the amplifier.
I checked the fuses under the hood and radio 1 and radio 2 seem to be okay. Is there anyway to check if the radio is and or the amplifier the issue?
My second question is it worth buying just the factory radio/amp or is it better to upgrade the radio and amplifier?
Are there plug and play wiring harnesses so I don't have to splice the wires? It is again a 2006 Gx470 with Navigation without Mark Levinson and with rear entertainment system.
