Passat (B5) :: Car Is Totally Immobilized, Engine Won't Start
I'm in some sort of crises (passat 2002 GLS); I was trying to inspect the fuel tank release switch on the driver door panel, Now the the car is totally immobilized, can't bring the window up, the remote doesn't open or close the window and most important, the engine is not starting.

I have an LS600hl (2008) that has behaved spectacularly well, except until recently when it started to deplete the key fob battery fast! I resorted to replacing the batteries once a week (yes it was that bad). that was up until today when the car refused to start completely. Everything in it is dead, including the horns.

I have a 2009 that seems to have issues in the lower gears, I think that I have a transmission issue.
When I'm coming to a stop, I feel the transmission downshifting from about gear 3. It's not wildly jerky or abrasive, but it's not smooth either (or I wouldn't feel it). When it downshifts, after it engages (or torques down for lack of a better term) it feels as if it releases a bit, which makes me have to compensate with harder braking (again, not saying I am slamming on the brakes, but I have to brake harder so it doesn't feel like I am now going to coast into the car in front of me). It doesn't feel like the transmission is going to take off on its own, but it definitely feels like it has a certain threshold it wants to stay above.
In the loaner I have (RX), when coming to a stop the best way I can describe it is it feels like the transmission has completely disengaged and I feel NO transmission downshifting at all. The only way I get this type of braking in my LS is if I throw it into Neutral and take the transmission out of the loop. On the way to the dealership this morning to drop it off for other issues, I was at a stop light and went to accelerate and it felt as if it skipped a gear because I was stalled for a second (acceleration wise, not that the engine turned off) before it took off as it should. Also my acceleration seems to be a little hesitant when starting off .
Lexus LS 2007+ :: VSC Warning Light - Car Is Completely Dead
"VSC" warning light...my car is completely dead, with warning light "VSC". Other than what the acronym Vehicle Stability Control stands for, I don't know what the issue is or what VSC is relating to. I can't get my car started to take it in for diagnostic testing.
The car is 2008 Lexus IS 250.
Lexus IS 2014+ :: Steering Wheel More Responsive In Sport Mode
Recently I started driving on eco mode to have the smoothest ride/acceleration. However, yesterday I wanted to get my dose of sport mode and WOT, so I switched to sport mode and stepped on the gas and during a small curve I felt the car steering is stiffer than usual, so I thought it could be due to speed. After that I reduced my speed and tried switching between sport and eco back to back and the sport mode steering actually is stiffer and more responsive! . I was surprised because my car is not the F sport, it is the normal is350 with tech package, and Lexus didn't mention this when describing the sport mode.

Is it possible for the IS200t brakes to malfunction? My car is only 1600 miles and the brake doesn't feel responsive/snappy. It feels like the car is very heavy to brake anywhere from 10 - 40 mph. I have to step on the brake pedal deep to feel the brakes. I don't feel that pump (I think it's called hydralics) feel when I step on the brakes. Even at 20mphs, the braking doesn't feel sensitive. Is it possible for some brake parts to break. I think one time when I was going down hill, I stepped on it really hard to stop at the bottom at the stop light and it made some weird clamping noise.

Recently purchased a certified 2011 Lexus ES350 with navigation. I noticed that when pressing the mode button on the steering wheel, the radio toggles from AM, FM1, FM2, and Bluetooth, but completely skips satellite radio. The satellite radio is active and I set presets for all the stations. I can access the satellite radio stations fine when pressing the button on the dash or on the touch screen but the mode button on the steering wheel completely skips the satellite selection.

2008 GX470..... Car died 3 times on the way...engine started missing a bit then completely died. First time n of Dalhart TX pulled off the road and restarted in a few minutes ran ok for about 30 miles died again. Restarted in a few minutes, filled up and drove 120 miles to Trinidad CO no problems....stopped at Toyota dealer in Trinidad, ran full diagnostics, said fuel mixture would run too high, car was fine now, maybe bad gas. Drove 150 mi no problem to Co Springs. Car died again climbing up to Breckenridge, pulled into gas station, shut down, filled up, restarted and no problems the last 100 miles into Breckenridge? Only commonality when the car died was that I was at half tank of gas. If fuel pump issue should full analysis have showed that?

Posting for a friend, 2002 Volvo s60 5 cylinder N/A. She got in a fender bender, only seems to be cosmetic damage. Airbags did not deploy. Says it stayed on long enough to pull off the road and then cut out and wouldn't start. I'm not familiar with volvos and any information i have found online is completely contradicting.
Assuming Ecu cut fuel after impact, I have read there's " a switch under the dash" which I find unlikely. Other info say to replace fuel relay and many say it has to be taken to dealer and hooked up. Any information as to reset the pump after it's been immobilized?

Purchased this vehicle new in Dec. 2011.Within a day or so,I noticed a hesitation when completely stopped and waiting for traffic to pass to make a left turn.
I started to proceed for this turn,but,no power when I slowly accelerated. All of a sudden,big surge of power ! Went to the Dealer to check this out.They said they drove the car for 7 miles,checked it scanner,etc.,but could not find the problem.

Any fuse/relay of any sort for the ac system. My ac stopped blowing cold completely, didn't even fade out. So I was wondering how is best to troubleshoot and also had questions if I could recharge the system myself if that be the problem.
Passat (B6) :: Car Is Not Responsive After Coils Replaced
I had to have 2 of my coils replaced a few weeks ago... since I got it back, the car is not as responsive as it used to be... I noticed it when i first got it back... it went away, and now it feels that way again. When I hit the gas (Floor it), its like it has to think about whether it wants to produce full power. Can even see the RPMs hesitate just a little.

This evening I had an interesting hiccup happen. Out of the blue the car would not recognize any function of the key fobs (both) inside or out. Recently changed batteries in the fobs and the red LED was coming on with button presses so those weren't the issue. But as I mentioned, the car wouldn't recognize the fob for any button press or proximity for unlocking/ignition.
There have been a few times where the fob right next to my phone would throw the car off, along with a few random scenarios where I had to be right next to the car for remote lock/unlock to work. I figured this was some type of interference as all the occurrences seemed random.
Anyway, after nothing working I tried the fobs again and they worked as if nothing happened before. So, where the car possibly resets or in some way refuses to acknowledge the key fobs for a short time.

I just had a rental for the new corolla, and noticed that the moonroof rolls out immediately after you press the button.
On my 2012 camry, i would have to hold the button for it to roll out, otherwise more often than so, i hold the button and it takes a while to act on that i press the button. (or doesn't even roll)
This would be covered under warranty right?
Touareg :: Manual Transmission - Down And Up Shifts Not Responsive?
I have a 2011 Hybrid Touareg. I'm just curious if other's are having a similar issue as mine with the V6 or TDI version.
When in drive mode and I shift the shifter to the right for manual down and up shifts, at times, I notice it's not as responsive. I try downshifting, and it won't downshift, it takes maybe 3-4 tries at times. Sometimes it works fine, other times it doesn't respond which can be frustrating. This goes the same with up shifting.

My daughter received a warning for her driver side headlamp being out. When we checked it, we found it working but with a pulsing. Later as we worked on the car for routine stuff the headlight went out completely.
