Ford Ranger / B-Series :: Wiper Control Lost All Function Save For Fastest Setting
My Ranger 2004 Edge wiper control lost all function save for the fastest setting. The day before I lost the lower settings but then they were there as usual. This also happened once before about a month ago and then it came back. Last night no such luck. Everything else seems to function fine. Where to begin?

Just got a set of Michelins and love them. I have been driving on them at 36 psi cold and 40 warm but was a bit concerned since I have always run my 22s at 41 cold and about 44 - 45 psi warm so I took the car in for a quick air check. The techs at the shop said I should do 40 cold at 44 warm to support the weight of the car. ( T they actually calculated it based on the weight of the car and load rating s on the tire). After I filled up I just feel liek the car is harsher and noisier . Its odd because I never noticed that much of a differnece with my other tires.
Just wanted to see what ranges others are running on their LS460s with aftermarket 22" wheels.
Lexus LS 2007+ :: Musty Smell In Cabin When Run Fresh Air Setting
I bought a used a 2008 LS600hL and noticed that when I run the fresh air setting with the AC off (like in winter) I get a musty smell in the cabin. I had Stevens Creek Lexus (Santa Clara Ca.) check it out and they tried to put a fragrance on it but that wore off after a few days. I have no problems with the water drainage (they checked) but wonder if I need to pull the AC coils and replace or something like that.

I have the lights set to auto , push the stalk forward and press the auto button; however, the brights do not go off when approaching oncoming vehicles at night. I have a 2007 Nissan Versa and my AC will only run on the highest setting. The dealership suggested that the whole panel with AC dials needed to be replaced, they did say they were not sure this was the problem. In doing some research on the web I did see discussion regarding a Nissan Altima that had what sound like a similar problem and the fix was a part called the "blower resistor" which was much cheaper and could be fixed at home.

I had to drop off someone, wait 2 hours on the spot, and pick up. I powered off the car after the drop off. Turn it back on right away without stepping on the brake - to bring up accessory mode so I could listen to FM radio. Exactly 60 minutes later, all inside courtesy lights lit up for 15 sec, radio powered off, and the dash displayed "auto power off - to save battery". very cool.

My system won't save the standby after 10 seconds setting. Every time I get into the car, I have to turn it on again.
Also, there's a setting that says it'll display the date and time while in standby mode but it never does when selected. It's just a black screen until I set it off with the sensor.

I have 3000 songs in folders on a USB stick. I understand how to get random play both within the folder, and for the entire USB. (Pushing and holding the button) What my frustration is is that everytime i take a phone call, or everytime i turn off the car, the random setting gets erased and it is back to sequential play. Is there a way to get this to a default permanent setting of "all random".

I have a 2.2 CRDI Manual - new 2010 model - bought from new approx 16 months ago. Live in UK. Quite a few problems, which is a shame as I love the car. Tonight's question is about the clutch. Became increasingly difficult/impossible to get into 1st when cold, and wasn't clearing so car would slightly jolt forwards. Dealer had it in and replaced ?Slave cylinder. No better. Went in yet again for a week. This time ?replaced Clutch ?wheel (staff not that communicative, or apologetic, and ps had to also replace both front drive shafts too as clicking ++). Now at least the car is easier to get into gear, but pedal rather sponge like and significant "judder" when setting off in 1st at lowish revs, and worse when reverses. Surely this can't be normal - it's a new car after all. Back to the dealer later in the week, but what do I do if I become unhappy with the dealer?

I have a 2013 Prius Wagon. Have noticed that I can go into the General setting and should be able to change from kilometers to miles. Go through all the steps, selecting miles as the new option, and then nothing happens. There is no screen to save settings, so nothing happens.
On the other hand why would those smart apples designing this system just not link to whole process to the button on the dash that changes the speedometer function. Just like it did in my 2005 Malibu!!!
