Lexus GX 2004-09 :: 2006 GX470 Won't Crank - All Of Interior Power And Lights Come On
I have a 2006 Lexus GX 470, that i drove through a street with about 2.5ft of water the other day (there was no other option due to an crazy high tide coming up in downtown Charleston, SC).
This happened about a month ago. Afterwards I made it 500 yards and the car just powered off. While I was calling the tow truck (within 20 minutes), I was able to get it to crank back up. I drove it the next three weeks through Christmas without any issues. On Christmas I parked it and we drove our other car out of town. When I got back, it cranked for maybe 15 seconds, then died, and hasn't cranked since.
When I say it won't crank, all of the interior power and lights come on, but when you turn the key nothing happens. No clicking or anything such as a bad starter would cause.
I have taken it to the repair shop and they can't find the issue, and they tell me their scanner won't talk to my ignition, fuel injection, and I think emissions computer. They can talk to the ABS computer.

Had my rear right hub replaced by a mechanic yesterday Faulty bearing ,and upon leaving his shop ,, my dash lit up like crazy , ABS ,Yellow and Red circle , AFS Flashing ,check 4WD ,Check VSC , Brought it right back ,he took it apart to verify the ABS sensor witch seemed ok visually ,and told me it was the hub that could be faulty.
Can a ABS sensor be damaged ,with the use of an impact driver nearby ? Can this ABS sensor be checked with a simple ohm meter ?

I have a 2006 GS3. It's been fine with no issues starting up. I drove it fine yesterday but when I went out to the garage today the car wouldn't start. So here's what happened. I got in to start it up like normal, the green light came on, but the car didn't start. Tried it again but this time there were no lights other than the green light and the brake pedal was hard to press. There were no warning lights of any kind. I figured the battery is dead. Since I live across the street from an Auto Zone I took the battery over there to have it checked (despite the fact that it's only 8 months old). The battery is still good at 12.5 volts and fully charged.
I put the battery back in and the high beams and parking lights came on right away. So figured everything is fine. But when I got in the car the green light still didn't come on, along with none of the door lights or anything else. My car lights are on auto so I turned them off but the lights stayed on. I disconnected the audio in the trunk also to make sure I'm not drawing power from any where else but still the same result. The exterior lights won't go out and the car won't start.

My '06 GS300 has a bulb in the driving lights (inner set, closest to the grill) that is out. It is the small light that turns-on when you turn the proper night-time lights on. SO, my driving lights operate normally, but when I switch the lights on, and the smaller bulbs turn on, one is out.
I was able to locate a post that suggested a 194/t10 LED light for replacement. How to confirm this is the proper bulb for the job? Also see these listed as #2825 in halogen.

This is how to clear the VSC, ECB light... I just did it my 06 GS430 after changing my brake pad and the lights came on.
If the code is able to be cleared, jumper connectors TC and EG (PINS 13 and 4)at the DLC 3 and press the brake 8+ times in 5 seconds. The pic and description below is just for reference and not the pins you need!

Just recently bought the car a month ago. This car has been giving me a lot of headaches. First my radio unit wouldn't work properly. Just started my car today and my gauges are flickering. Seatbelt and airbag keep flickering on and off. AC says 32.0 temp and wont let me adjust it. Passenger windows don't work. Driver window goes up and down but isn't automatic anymore. I have to hold it both ways.

I just picked up a 2007 Lexus GS450h in MM.
I have tried everything that I could up to this point but can not get my fog lights and city lights to work. I have changed the bulbs, checked the fuses and the only other thing that I can think of is the fog light relay. What is the location of the fog light relay on the 3GS, I am almost positive that this is definitely the issue for the fogs and I'm also hopeful that it could be the issue with the city lights.
Also, I've seen that there is a 7.5a fuse in the trunk that is labeled 'RR Fog', I'm pretty sure this is for nonUSDM models but maybe this being the culprit?

These interior buttons light(sunroof open, close, up down and spot, on, off, spot)are not lighting up at nite when i turn on the head lights. Are they supposed to be off or something that dealer can customize it to be on/off option such as DRL lights.

2007 GS350... Yesterday i ended up changing my oil and did not noticed the oil seal for the oil filter shifted . So it dumped out about 3 qts of oil when I started the car. Oil everywhere. I ended up cleaning everything and did the oil change again. Now I am having an check vsc light, also the anti skid and abs light is on. No check engine light. What can it be??? Can i just run a generic scanner ?
