Lexus GS 2006-11 :: Rear Doors Sticking / Hard To Open And Close
Having problems with the rear doors sticking? I.e. they are hard to open and close? Seems like the hinge is no good but I am not sure.

Last month I picked up my MKVII AutoBahn with Lighting Package. It was kind of an emergency buy, but a long time coming.
I haven't had much time to check every nook and cranny, but I did make do the important checks (Shipping Pucks, I'm looking at you).
Either way, since I received the car the Footwell Lighting on the driver side has never lit up, I assumed that it was the same case on the passenger side, and that the option was just off.
When my wife was getting out of the car 2 days ago I noticed that it was in fact lighting on the passenger side, but not the driver side.
So, after speaking with the service department at the dealership, it seems almost impossible to get the car there for scheduling reasons.
Is there anything I can do on my own to troubleshoot? I'm not very handy, but always willing to try.

2009 Lexus GS350 ... My interior lighting sucks on this car. There is LED lighting currently installed into the car but its not very bright. Also, there is no dome lighting other than what is in the back seat so when it gets dark out at night it gets very tough to see.

Haven't drive my 600 in a while. Decided to take it out for a drive, but I can't get the doors to open. I tried using the button on the door handle, and the remote fob. My key fob remote wouldn't open the doors, so I used the key. Then when I went to start the car it said key not detected. Called Lexus and they said to hold the remote in front of the start button for 30 seconds, but that didn't work.
I realize the battery might be dead, but the funny thing is both of my fobs don't work. Also, last night I noticed the light inside my car didn't turn on as usual when I exited. What might be going on?
Lexus LS 2007+ :: Trunk Doesn't Open All The Way?
So I had opportunity to drive a Buick Lacrosse. When I popped the trunk, it sprung open all the way which my Lexus does not do. While the rest of that Lacrosse was garbage, I really liked that the trunk did that. Especially when your hands are full. Am I whining enough yet? So this is normal right?

I just bought a (new to me) 2007 RX 350. Love the car. The only problem is that the previous owner had kids and he let them do whatever they wanted inside the car. I've noticed that when I open the trunk from inside the car, the trunk lid opens and raises up. When I open the trunk using the key fob, it only unlocks the trunk, but doesn't raise the lid. It's odd, is it just my car? Or can this be changed so the trunk lid raises when using the key fob. I didn't see this covered in the manual.
