Lexus SC430 :: Blinking Nav Icon - Little Circle With Triangle Inside
I got into my sc430 2002 tonight and noticed that the little circle with triangle inside, that represents the car on the nav screen is blinking. I could swear that it is usually steady. Need to confirm, it's normally steady or blinking!

I recently installed an updated 13.1 navigation disk for my car, all is working well. However on occasion at start up the navigation round icon bounces to a location down the road from my actual location, like I pushed the screen?? However my location on the screen is accurate.
I thought at first I may have pushed a button or something but quickly figured out it does it on its own. I can hit the map button and all is good.
So I tried the old disk and it still does it, in the few months I have had the car its never done this.
So maybe did the new disk screw something up??
I just don't want to push another button to start the navigation since I did not have to do it before.
Golf/GTI VI :: Blinking Icon On The Odometer Like TPMS Light
I just got my car back from the dealer last night (the 4th time it's been in for service in under three months of ownership, pathetic). When I turned the car on this morning I got a blinking icon on the odometer. The icon is the same as the low tire pressure icon except the MFD doesn't show air pressure is low and the icon is flashing for the first minute or so. I checked out the tires anyway. When I tried to unscrew the valve cover the metal piece came right off leaving the inner rubber portion stuck over the valve stem. This was the same scenario for 3 of my 4 wheels. I'm assuming one of the fools from the service department put a death grip on the caps after refilling the tires (part of the "full circle service, tires/tpms had nothing to do with why my car was in). My question is, why this light is on? The pressure isn't low and there is nothing wrong with the way it drives. I'm stumped and don't want to have to bring my car back in. [IMG][URL]....

While driving home yesterday my AFS Light started blinking. Middle of the afternoon, lights aren't on, and boom, it just starts. So I get home thinking maybe the leveling arm in the rear got loose and crawl under the car, nope, that looks fine. Check the front, no issue there. So... Sure enough the lights don't auto level or 'look' around turns any more.

Just bought 2007 Gs 350 in Dec 2015 with 60k miles. The other day I filled up with gas and drove to work. On the way home check engine light started blinking, check VSC appeared on display screen and traction light came on, car ran rough, and wouldn't accelerate. Got home and searched the net.. So I removed gas cap... No change.. Then removed neg battery cable for 10 min. Fixed problem for about 10 min. Then it all happened again. Next morning took it to Lexus dealer. The rep called and said it gave misfire cylinder 3. They said they checked valve springs and they are good, exchanged coil pack with different cylinder and still misfire #3. He said has to be injector so they want to replace injector ....

After taking my car to 2008 Lexus GS 350 AWD for an oil change and recall fix, I noticed my iJDMToy LED Parking Lights and Xentec HID for Fog Lamps have stopped working and just blink a very low light the entire time. The parking light starts working fine when the main head lights are off, but as soon as I turn them on, they start to blink again. The fog lamps just constantly blink at a low light level while on. My car hasn't had the gps icon on for about a week. I've also had gps problems with my phone. I downloaded a utility on my phone that tells me how many gps satellites I'm connected to. When my car is off with the windows up and sunroof closed I'm connected to 10 to 15 antennas. When the car is on it drops to zero. I stick my phone out the window and it goes back up the 10 to 15. Also when I turn the car off it goes up to 10 to 15.

My Toyota prius 2006 get red triangle light appears when I start the engine and it disappears when I drive the car. When I stop the car, it comes back again. The warning light is like in the picture I attached.

Recently the battery in our 2009 LS460 died. After installing a new battery my wife (her car) started the car and noticed that the emergency brake was set, but she selected a dealer service option on the dash display and the brake problem was solved. Almost. When she backed it up a couple of feet and pressed on the brake pedal, there was a metallic sound like the disk pads were loose in the calipers. Since this concerned my wife and since it was time for the 55K service, we took it to our local Lexus Dealer. Two days later, we got a call to tell us that the tires were worn to 3/32 tread, so we let them replace the tires.
When we got the car back, the navigation system didn't know where the car was. After reading the owners manual, we discovered that there is a navigation system procedure to update tire changes... the dealer had not done it. We also discovered a navigation system procedure to update battery changes... At the time I installed the new battery, I hadn't done it, so a couple of days late I did it.
The car still doesn't know where it is... most of the time. Some of the time though... it apparently does... for about 30 minutes or 15 miles at a time. The GPS icon randomly appears and disappears.
The latest from the dealer is that we may need a map data upgrade for $300, but I think it's a bad antenna connection.
Lexus RX 2004-09 :: RX330 AWD Beeping With A Light In Dash With Icon Of Car With Curves
I have a Lexus RX 330 2004 which I recently made some changes to the front end suspension, since then, my car beeps whether i turn or I drive even in straight line beyond 40MPH. The beep comes along with a light in dash with an icon of the car with curves.
I have read something referring to a zero calibration. Which pins to short to perform the calibration? Since I don't have the lexus diagnostic tools, I heard its the CG and TS pins but What pin numbers are the on my 2004 AWD RX 330?

I noticed this message today. I just had my 10k checkup at the dealership maybe a month and half ago. When I checked the dashboard info, I saw the tire rotation icon red. I reset this and reset the warning message too. I will be changing the tires soon.

I have a bizarre issue, once the car is running about 20 minutes, the seat belt icon on dash and passenger seat belt light (unoccupied) start flashing. Then the flashing become more like a flickering with a noise. At this time all power windows become sticky and operate under the same bop if you will as the seatbelt light. The doors the will not lock and the alarm will not work. Today it took me about 6 minutes just to close one window and i had to lock the car manually. After a few hours with the car being off, everything works fine again, then another 20 minutes of driving the issue reappears.

Just took delivery of my 2005 SC430 (Egyptian Sand, white leather, 55k miles. Lovely vehicle.) which I thought came with Bluetooth.
However, when looking to pair my iPhone 4S the 'Phone' icon is not present on the ML Nav Info display screen, suggesting that maybe Bluetooth is missing? I confirmed it's a 2005 from the VIN.
When I depress the little button below and behind the steering wheel volume buttons (left side - this is a US car) I get a voice saying 'No cassette inserted' or words to that effect, suggesting it's a cassette control button, not a Bluetooth one. The Nav instruction book which came with the car specifically refers to the presence of Bluetooth.
How to find if I have Bluetooth or not? My iPhone cannot 'discover' anything.
