Lexus LS 2007+ :: 2013 LS460 - Lights Will Now Turn Off
I recently purchased a 2013 LS460 and I'm alhaving issues with my lights turning off.
When on Auto.. Lights turn off after pressing the Lock 2x.
When on On position or parking lights position and I press the lock button twice, it will not turn off. I mean it will stay on for a while.
Check the delay headlight setting in the menu options and it's set at 30 seconds.
Took my car back to Lexus and told them my issue I was having...and they still couldn't figure it out.
Lexus RX 2010-15 :: 2013 RX350 - Puddle Lights Do Not Turn On When Touch Handles To Unlock Doors
I've looked in the owner's manual, but only find that they exist, no instructions on turning them on. I know I can unlock the doors with the key fob at night and the lights will come on, including the puddle lights on the bottoms of the rear view mirrors. If I touch the door handles instead of using the key fob (my preferred method of unlocking the vehicle), the doors unlock, but the puddle lights do not come on.
I would also like to be able to turn them on when I am getting ready to exit the car, especially so the wife does not step in a puddle.
Lexus ES 2013+ :: Turning Off Auto-Tilt Steering Wheel For Entry / Exit
How to turn this off? I managed to turn off the driver's side auto-slider but can't figure out how to turn off the steering wheel portion. I'm not a big fan of the entry/exit assist. I kind of feel that all that movement will wear out the motor over time. Perhaps I'm just being paranoid.

2014 SFS 2.0T with only 8,000 kilometers...
I went out into the garage last night and noticed the Santa Fe brake lights were on. No other lights, just the right, left, and the upper brake lights. I tapped the brake pedal several times, I started the car and put it through a couple gear changes, turned the other lights on and off, but the brake lights remained on.
The brake lights would get a little brighter when the pedal was pushed. The brake lights would also flicker once in awhile. I'm thinking a short somewhere so I have disconnected the battery until I can call the dealer tomorrow.
The only thing I have added to this car is a Curt Hitch and wire plug (plug and play, no splicing). This was more than 6 months ago and there has been no problems.
Santa Fe (DM - 2013+) :: Interior Lights Won't Turn On After Bulb Change
So I switched out my bulbs to standard LEDs. I was changing the back map lights when they all turned off.. I thought the timer just ran out but now they won't turn back on..
The rear light in the truck, map lights in the front and the side map lights.. Did I short something? I don't see how as to I wasn't holding anything metal in my hands.. I did have an issue trying to get off the back map lights (i gave up), but not my lights won't turn on....

Recently picked up a 2013 F150 XLT. Reasonably basic truck. Supercab, 2wd, 5.0L, 6 speed, trailer towing package with brake controller......
We are about to head out on a 2 week camping trip. We will be at one site for the entire 2 weeks, and the truck will be driven very little during that time. Problem is that numerous people go in and out of the truck many times per day, x2 weeks. My previous tow vehicle had a means for turning off the interior lights during the daytime, when the doors would be constantly opening and closing.
This truck has interior lights and exterior lights and puddle lights and probably lights I don't even know about that come on and stay on for about 15-20 seconds every time the door opens. It has a funky rocker switch, that I hate, for the dash lights, that doesn't seem to turn off the interior lights. (I forgot the owners manual for the truck at a relatives place a week ago, so I can't check in there). Is there a way to manually keep the lights off during the day to save my battery?
Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: 2013 - How To Turn On The Courtesy Lights
I have a 2013 FX4 (crew cab) and cannot figure out how to turn on the courtesy lights! I can get them to work individually by pressing the edge of the lights, but I believe the dimmer switch to the left of the steering wheel should turn them all on (both front and back).
The manual says to push the dash dimmer switch until they come on, but that does not work! An acquaintance has a 2103 Lariat and he can turn his on using the switch, but no luck for me. I was looking in some of my literature I saved when I bought the truck thinking this feature may have been buried in some package that I did not get. Am I missing something?

I have been searching the web and can't seem to find any information on replacing the turn signal halogens with LEDs on the 2013 ES350. Is there a hyper-flash issue? The Lexus LED Flasher Turn Signal Relay (81980-50030) doesn't appear to be compatible with the 2013 model. I don't really want to go the resistor route, am I missing something? I would like to install VLEDs Platinum 21 Amber(Front) and Red(Rear).

Only have had the car for a couple of weeks. One problem that I have is that I don't know how to turn off the nav once the address has been entered and navigation started. My family changes their mind all the time and wants to go some some other destination in the middle of a trip. Unless a new destination is put in the nav keeps directing to the previous destination. I have both my wipers and headlights set to "auto". I was wondering if there was a setting somewhere that turned on the headlights when the wipers are consistently on. I took my first long road trip today and it rained the whole way. The rain sensing wipers were awesome and I didn't have to mess with the settings at all. But when it's raining, it's the law here to have headlights on and it's something I want to do anyway because it's hard to see vehicles in the road rain mist when the headlights aren't on. So I was forced to manually turn them on.

How to do this without breaking anything? The other day I noticed a spider somehow got into my passenger map light and died in there. I have trim removal tools and stuff but I'm hesitant to go blind on this one for fear of breaking some clips or breaking the whole thing because I missed a screw or something like that. It doesn't seem like you can just take the plastic lens off the light, so I'm not sure how to proceed.

There is 68F outside and I wanted to heat up inside to 78F inside. But the climate control shows me the AC is ON as soon as I turn the fan ON. Why is that? Is the AC really turning on and stays on?
I noticed, because the air from the center vent wasn't particularly warm and the cabin didn't get warm as fast as I would expect. In other cars I would just turn the heat ON max and gradually turn it back, but it is not what I am observing here. I feel the hot air coming from the left vent only - the one next to driver door, but the center vents are barely warm. So I have 2 question here really.
1. Why is the AC indicator on climate control window showing the AC is ON when I am using the heater?
2. Is the AC turning ON always with that indicator turning ON?
