My 2014 GX has been great except for one annoying problem; with BSM mode enabled, the passenger side BSM indicator randomly lights solid when driving down the road with NO vehicles around me (driver side indicator works perfectly 100% of the time). Does not appear to be correlated to temperature, day/night, humidity, speed, or conditions mentioned in the manual. Other current RX and GX owners I know don't seem to have the issue.
Can the BSM system be calibrated or is the detection program burned into the individual sensors and control module such that the system cannot be re-calibrated? Does a GX BSM system publication exist? I have several photos illustrating the problem. Reported to dealer. The dealers conversation with Lexus was that it is not a perfect system with no explanation as to why one side would have the issue but the other wouldn't. Below is the online reference that Lexus provides. The BSM feature is a very nice one except for this intermittent issue.

Golf IV R32 :: Inside Lights Turn Off Randomly When Driving
My lights inside (not the dome lights but the dash, and speedo/tach lights) sometimes turn off randomly when driving, or sometimes don't even come on when i turn the switch. they eventually come on, or come back on after going out.
Also the display (that tells mpg avg. and what not) turned off yesterday too and hasn't come back on. that always stays on even when the other lights go out, but for some reason it shut off and has yet to return.
Golf/GTI VI :: Side Marker Only Work When The Lights Are On
Is the side marker suppose to blink when you have your turn signal on with the lights OFF. Mine don't. They only work when the lights are on. Is that normal?

Looks like my driver side door leaks at the top when driving with the windshield wipers on. Usually only in a good rain storm will it do this. It isn't pouring in but it's a few drops on my ride home from work today. How would they even try and replicate this at the dealership? Worth taking in since it is just a few drops it is this the precursor to something more devious if not taken care of?

I have an issue that I have yet to figure out. While the car is in motion there is a rumble from what sounds like the front driver side. I've replaced the wheel bearing and CV axle already. The noise seems to have gotten better but its still there. The noise will worsen when turning left and pretty much disappear when turning right.

When I open the driver's door, the car does not register that the door is open: the dome light and other interior lights don't come on, the red alert light inside the door itself doesn't come on, and sometimes my alarm will go off when I start the car because it does not know that the door has been activated properly. When the passenger door is open, all the lights function properly. I'm thinking this is a fuse? Hopefully a simple fix?

When I've been driving I've been hearing what sounds like plastic constantly tapping something from the passenger side. I thought it was the GPS I put in there, but it's covered with a microfiber cloth and it's pretty tight there so I don't really expect movement. I've been back from a year overseas for a little over a month and have been driving my 2 door R daily since coming back. All of a sudden today, the passenger side window started vibrating like crazy under normal driving. It is very loud and noticeable, but goes away once I crack the window. If I roll it up and crack the driver's side, I get the "helicopter vibration noise" some have noticed when the sunroof is open (I don't have a sunroof, but have noticed this on all my other VWs).

My cigarette lighter and aux power outlet do not work and mym 4wd does not work. when i try to change from 2wd to 4wd no lights come on in the dash. I have checked all fuses and they are good. I have 2006 Mercery Mariner and the dome lights come on while im driving, they will stay on for about 10 mins or longer. sometimes they will come on when i hit a bump in the road. They also flicker on and off, even when i hit the brakes. took it to a shop and they replaced the hatch switch and they checked all the other door switches but stiil didn't find the problem.

So after getting home last night and having a lot of trouble backing into the driveway, having a serious loss of power, I take it out today and find that the truck is rocking from side to side as I drive, a bit like a boat in rough water. Further, I wasn't able to get much power out of it, capping about 20mph/30kph. Reversing produced some ugly grinding or scraping noises. The steering wheel swung very quickly back to its neutral position after turning, and I've noticed a strip on the road near the driveway where I apparently spun one of the tires trying to back in. Some quick searching says it could be a wheel bearing, an axle problem or suspension-related.

Late last night as I was puling up to park in front of a dark restaurant, I turned off my headlights so I would not blind the people inside. This is a 2010 Prius III.
When I left and tried to turn them back on, only the drivers side parking light (the small white one above the headlight) and side marker light worked. Passenger side nothing works, however on both sides the high beams do work.
Passat (B5) :: Driver Side Lights Partially Out - Both Side Markers / Rear And Front Bulbs
1 week ago I changed low beam bulbs(one was out).
1 week ago $2 tire pressure gauge fell through the slots on the left side of the trunk inside, I have tried to reach it, but to no avail(touched wires, which goes to the rear/stops driver's side several times).
Today I noticed one of my side markers was not working, I turned on lights, tried to change bulb in it and as of now neither marker nor left front light(that small upper bulb in bigger bulb slot) nor rear lights work.
Low and high beam are ok on both sides.
GTI 337/20th Anniversary :: Projector Lights Flicker And Only Driver Side Stays On Leaving Passenger Side Off?
I'm new to Volkswagen, never had one before. Just bought my buddies 2003 GTI 20th anniversary #106. My bud install glass projector headlights, which he has the projector as his DRL's and for some reason when you release the E brake, which turns the DRL's, the projector lights on, they flicker and only the driver side stays on leaving the passenger side off. If I pull the E brake back up to turn them off and back down again it flickers on but won't stay on. Sometimes it does switch sides to where the passenger side works and the driver side doesn't but its the passenger side that mostly has the problem. Now I can continue to do this and eventually after 3 or 4 pulls of the E brake i can get them both working. I'm OCD about these little things like this and i want it to work right.
