Golf IV / Jetta IV :: Rear Wiper Fluid Line Leaking
I have a leak in my rear wiper fluid line on my GTI. When I use the rear washer, I get a pool of fluid in the driver side taillight and under the rear seats. I'm getting some fluid in the rear driver side headliner as well so the break must be there. First step is to pull the headliner.

I have the 2011 Touareg Hybrid and having a problem with the rear wiper. (Hybrid, TDI, or V6) I have 2 issues:
- Issue 1 : The rear wiper is leaking fluid and it drips down onto the tailgate and leaves a stain. (See photo) The first time i noticed this I have the wipers in the auto sensing mode. It has not rained any, but I thought it was possibly activating. After washing vehicle, I turned off the the auto sensing and it has not rained at all nor have I used the wiper for anything. It did it again. I have informed my service advisor at VW and they are going to look at it next time I take it in.
- Issue 2 : My dealer and I have narrowed this down to be only on the Hybrid. The rear wiper does not lift up. Meaning I cannot pull the wiper out at all for cleaning and washing vehicle. When I got my hybrid, I could do that. However, there is a cap at the end covering the spray holes. We had to push the cap down further to where the holes in the cap lined up with where the water shoots out. This appears to be the correct position for the cap, but it now prevents you from being able to raise the wiper. You can also see the cap in the photo.
Golf IV R32 :: Hose Popped Off And Yellow Fluid Spraying Out Under Hood?
i was a few mins early for work so I was just sitting in my car with the engine off...out of nowhere I heard a noise from under the hood...it sounded like a loud spraying noise with a lot of pressure. I opened the hood and finally found the problem. A hose popped off and yellow fluid was spraying out along with a lot of air. I clamped the hose back on to where it belongs and it was secured right away. There is, however a crack in the hose.
I know it's not coolant because the coolant is pink. I saw a thread that suggests it could be power steering fluid, but I haven't noticed any problems with my steering. I also saw a threat that suggests an AC leak.... What this is?

Starting a few days ago, I noticed a wet spot underneath the front-right of the car.
Turns out, I'm losing wiper fluid. I fill it up to the top, watch it for several minutes.. it doesn't move. Pull off, come back 5 minutes later and I've lost nearly half the tank... so it's leaking, or at least leaking worse when the car runs by way of something calling for it or the movement of the car.

I'm having some sort of electrical malfunction on the back of my Mk4 Gti. The right rear tail light, license plate light and back windshield wiper doesn't work. I replaced the bulbs several times and they keep blowing.

My rear windshield washer has stopped working, does the MkVI have a separate pump for the front and rear washer fluid sprayers? My front sprayer is still working, fluid is full, and I don't see any VCDS codes relating to the rear windshield washer motor. Since I am approaching a wet season, it would be best if the rear washer worked. I am still under warranty but just wanted to know if there are two sprayer pumps on our cars.
FWIW, I have not had a problem with the rear washer dripping and no TSB have been performed on the rear washer.

So my rear wiper works, but I can get no washer fluid to come out. Yes, I filled it properly. Is there a separate pump for the rear? a separate fuse? is it clogged?

How do I turn on the rear wiper without it spraying the window with washer fluid? I've followed the instructions in the manual for using the rear wiper, but very time I turn the wiper on it sprays the window with washing fluid. I don't need washer fluid sprayed on the window if the window is already wet from rain.

I used my rear windshield wiper for the first time today. Noticed that the back windshield wiper doesn't clean off the back window close enough to the horizontal bar going across the Prius V hatch? So I obviously checked the fluid levels and added plenty to make sure its not empty.. I don't know if there is some issue with a pump that needs to be warmed up first, or some ice buildup on the nozzles (obviously I didn't see any).
After driving for about 20 minutes it started spraying just fine. Although it doesn't seem to spray very well in the rear window. I'm wondering if it is just the cold temperatures (was around 0-5 at night) or if there is another issue.

I can hear the sprayer motor when I activate the toggle, but no spray from the squirters! (in the past I've encountered this on a honda, usually we'd just pull the squirter and soak it in a cup of solvent then pop it back on after shooting it black) but on the B6 it looks more complicated!!!

2001 GTI VR6. 82,000mi and it has some issues. Right now, the wiper fluid doesn't function but the tank is full of fluid, I found a wire cluster with a clip that wasn't even hooked up. Problem, I don't know where to connect it.

my third brake light, hatch wiper and fluid stuff all don't work. can't really tell if defrost works either but considering the amount of damage they probably don't. there was a hole in one of the grommets leading into the hatch on my gti and they all got wet and damaged. I am in the process of removing the lower intake on my 99 Ranger 4.0. I was unscrewing the AC Compressor to get it out of the way and also started to unscrew a bolt on the backside of the compressor because it wasn't moving well due to the metal tube on the backside. I think this is the tube to the condenser? Anyways it started spraying air and green fluid everywhere. I got it to stop for now but if I tighten or loosen the bolt it seems to spray. Also it looks like a green o ring or gasket of sort is showing now which I don't remember. What is it and what should I do?

Ford F-150 (2004-2008) :: 2005 XLT - Wipers Washer Fluid Not Spraying
I have an 05 F-150 SuperCrew XLT 4x4. I just went to use my wipers and its not spraying anything. The driver side nozzle drips a little bit out, the passenger side does nothing. I can hear the motor engage and there is fluid in the reservoir. I can't see any leaks.
