Golf/GTI VI :: Lights Don't Turn On When Unlock
I set up my euro switch and turned off drl and turned on leaving home but my lights don't turn on when I unlock and it's on in the MFI. What's the problem!?

So I just got a new golf sport wagon and I want to checkabout a noise I've noticed. When I start the car and try and immediately turn the wheel (like to back out of a parking space), the steering makes a soft 'woop woop woop' noise as i turn the wheel. It quickly goes away and the rest of the drive is noise free but it is just that first time. What this could be?

So when leaving the gym tonight, I go to unlock my car with the remote and it beeps, but nothing unlocks......everything is clicking like it's unlocking (doors, gas cap, etc) but it won't unlock. So I press and hold the unlock button to roll down my windows, reach in, open the door from the inside and it opens, starts and everything works.
Can this be from my rear bumper getting hit the other day (would the rear bumper sensor getting damaged have anything to do with this)?
Lexus RC F 2015+ :: Unable To Unlock Doors With Handle Or Remote?
I've owned my F for almost a year now and in the year I've owned it I've have three times where the doors won't open using the handle or remote to unlock the door.
The only way I've been able to gain access inside is to roll the windows down using the remote control, then open the door handle from the inside.

Parked my car in freezing temperatures overnight and noticed the door handle's unlock button is frozen and does not work. Was still frozen after my 45 minute drive to work. Try spraying it overnight with windshield washer to prevent freezing and ice damage?

Lock/unlock button on door handle failed? Over the past couple of weeks mine has iced up a couple of times. I'm pretty sure water is getting behind the button and freezing. Now it seems like the button only works intermittently, and it definitely has a spongy feel to it when you press it. Off to the dealer I guess. Though if it's because of ice it's probably going to fail every year.....

I have a question for 11-15 Superduty, regarding the factory option remote door unlock and remote start. How far away does your system operate from?
Mine is good for only 50 ft or so MAX most of the time it won't work until about 15 ft from the truck. Been trying to get the dealer to look into it, but got told today that in the owners manual it is only good to 30 ft. Plus I randomly get a tire pressure sensor fault. The sensors are fine, but since the TPMS and door unlock/ remote start share the same antenna I think the 2 are related.
Since my 2011 would work from 100 yards most of the time I call B.S. on the 30ft. I feel that the new truck should work at least as good as my old one. Besides that 30ft is a complete waste, and virtually useless, in my opinion.

just got a 2010 Prius (Australian base model), and looking for information on how to turn off the beeps when locking/unlocking the doors. I've found info on turning off the seat-belt warning beep, and changing the reversing beep to single by using the OBDII connector, but nothing on the CAN bus codes needed for the lock/unlock beeps.

So it's Christmas Eve, fresh snow and an empty parking lot but I can't figure out how to turn off VSC. I held down Trac off for 3 seconds for the "Off" symbol to light up on my dash. I've looked in the owner's manual, but only find that they exist, no instructions on turning them on. I know I can unlock the doors with the key fob at night and the lights will come on, including the puddle lights on the bottoms of the rear view mirrors. If I touch the door handles instead of using the key fob (my preferred method of unlocking the vehicle), the doors unlock, but the puddle lights do not come on.
I would also like to be able to turn them on when I am getting ready to exit the car, especially so the wife does not step in a puddle.
Lexus RC 2015+ :: Command To Turn Off Icons In Nav
The voice commands mistakenly turned on my dinning icons when I said something else. I tired googling how to remove them but nothing seems to work.
-remove all icons
-hide all icons
-delete all icons
-icons
List goes on and on. The system doesn't recognize any of the commands. What is the proper voice command to turn the icons off. Or even just turn them off manually.

When we approach our home, we hear a chime. Besides being totally unnecessary, it is irritating. How can I stop that particular chime? A chime when you should make a turn or a chime when you arrive at a POI is OK but I don't need it for HOME. Any solutions?

There is 68F outside and I wanted to heat up inside to 78F inside. But the climate control shows me the AC is ON as soon as I turn the fan ON. Why is that? Is the AC really turning on and stays on?
I noticed, because the air from the center vent wasn't particularly warm and the cabin didn't get warm as fast as I would expect. In other cars I would just turn the heat ON max and gradually turn it back, but it is not what I am observing here. I feel the hot air coming from the left vent only - the one next to driver door, but the center vents are barely warm. So I have 2 question here really.
1. Why is the AC indicator on climate control window showing the AC is ON when I am using the heater?
2. Is the AC turning ON always with that indicator turning ON?
Passat (B7) :: 2015 - Turn Signal Socket Broke Off
So I had to replace a front ten signal bulb the other day and with almost no pressure, one of the small plastic tabs on the bulb socket broke off when I was trying to seat the new bulb into the headlight housing. The plastic socket looks like it's own piece that's removable from the wiring harness, but my dealer tells me it comes as a kit with the whole headlight housing and I'd have to replace the whole thing.

2015 prius package 5 w tech package and HUD display, I found a flasher mounted up between the fuse box/ module assembly mounted on a clip! I have a led replacement flasher, but clip mounts and pin locations don't line up? I watch the video but I have nothing in area! Or I just need to install the resistors? Or it could be a combination circuit assembly where multiple function module all in one ?
