Golf V R32 :: Annoying Sound Coming From The Door Panels

I've done the best I can to block out an annoying sound coming from what I think are the door panels (unsure at this point).

When I bring the vehicle to a stop, release the brake and give it some gas (light to moderate acceleration, mind you), 90+/100 times I get a clearly audible "click" from one or both sides of the car. It seems to be emanating from the door panels. Sounds like hard plastic/plastic of maybe plastic/metal sound. It's not loud, but definitely there and definitely annoying since I enjoy driving without the radio on.

Issue was acknowledged by a tech and service manager at the dealership, who agreed this is not normal for a MKV, even one with 40,000 miles on it. However, they offered no solutions, only horror stories of fighting with door alignment on a MKVI.

Golf/GTI VI :: Right Passenger Front Door Rattles Over Bumps

I notice the door rattles a lot now, more noticeably over bumps. Also, I don't really turn my music that loud, but when it is I can hear the rattle as well. Any quick fixs for this? Or would it be easier to get the dealer to try to fix this during my 5000 mile maintenance?

Passat (B6) :: How To Remove The Interior Rear Door Panels

How do I remove the interior rear door panels?

My passenger side rear door handle does not work. My mechanic fixed it once, said the cable had jumped off the pulley. I figured it can't be that difficult to fix if I can get the door panel off.

Azera TG (2006-11) :: How To Remove Rear Door Panels

I have a 2006 Azera and recently had the small part of the door handle fall off (part #83652E). I got a new part but wanted to know how easy it is to install this or whether I should have the dealer do it. Do I need a special tool to remove the door panel/clips or can I do it with something else. Once inside, is it just as simple as screwing the new part on through a hole in the door?

Ford Excursion :: Getting Door Panels Off / Swapping Speakers

So I bought a set of 05 towing mirrors today, got them installed and need to get the door panels off so I can disconnect the wire clip. I figured I would swap out the speakers while in there too so I assume 6X9? Also when I click the keyless entry button on the remote it unlocks all the doors but the driver door. The lock moves a little so I know it's getting a little tug but I still have to use the key to open it. What can I do to fix this?

Golf IV / Jetta IV :: 2001 - Random Door Locking / Window Appears Crooked

I recently picked up a 2001 MK4 jetta and Have some issues with door locks. Upon searching I'm thinking I may have a faulty door lock module.

Symptoms are that the doors will randomly lock for no reason when I unlock the door and sit inside for a min or two. PO broke the drivers armrest control and glued them in place and I think some glue seeped into the lock button as it is very stiff and no longer works. Going to replace the door card and controls but wondering if the problem may be due to typical burnt out soldering points?

For my window issue, passenger window appears to possibly be crooked in the window clips as it stops 3/4 of the way up and will reverse back down as if stuck. I have to keep pressing it to get it to go up. Does this sound like typical broken clips and glass is about to fall? Would I just undo clips and reattach?

Touareg :: How To Remove Door Panels / Speaker Buzzing In Stereo

Two part question:

-Audio is my hobby. I hear things that many people don't. One of the things I'm hearing from my Sound System I is a faint buzzing/vibration in many of the speakers. Some of it can only be heard in certain songs (Steely Dan/Jack Of Speed - Great song!), or when playing an audio book. Most of the time, it comes from the woofers, but with audio books (spoken word), I can hear it from midrange/tweeters as well.

-I've had the car at the dealer multiple times for this. They did replace one speaker and claim to have parts in order to fix it. I suspect that the speakers are just vibrating on their mounts, or vibrating something inside the door. I might be able to fix it. How to take the door panels off so the speakers can be accessed?

Passat (B7) :: 2012 - Rattling And Creaking From Door Panels And Dash

I am quite displeased with the creaking and rattling noises I keep getting from my 2012 3.6 Premium's door panels and dash. I have already had these looked at by a dealership multiple times in the last year or so. Each time they "fix" it, the noises go away for some weeks and always keep coming back in one form or another.

I have an appointment with a different dealership this week. I hope they will be able to fix this for good. However, the noises have really spoiled the experience of this car. I wonder if all Passat's suffer from this issue. Just wanted to vent, don't know how else to let it out of my system

Nissan - Rogue :: 2010 - Squeaking Plastic Door Panels

My 2010 Nissan Rogue was awesome until the clicks, squeaks, rattles, etc popped up after the first year. I've been slowly figuring them out, but one remaining problem is the squeaking plastic door panels. If I lean my arm on it or or leg against it, it creaks in many places. Going over bumps it'll do it on it's own. Is there anything I can do to remedy this? It is out of warranty as I have about 40K on it and they said that wouldn't qualify anyhow when it was under warranty as it was "cosmetic".

Ford Excursion :: Update Door Panels To 2008 Or 2011?

I'm wanting to update my door panels to the 2008 or 2011. I know I can change out the center console but I'm not sure what years work. The bottoms of my doors are rusted out and I believe it makes more sense to buy the doors than repair them. I would love to know if the newer model SD's are the same design as the pre-2008s.

Ford - Explorer :: 2004 - Front Door Panels Removal

I thought this might be a little difficult but it wasn't at all. Simplest door panel that I've ever pulled off.

first remove the panel that goes around the door handle, gently pry it up in the front where the speaker grill meets the panel, use a couple of flat head screw drivers for this. It will pop up once the tabs are released, then you can remove it.

Then remove the window/lock control panel, the front of this will need to be gently pulled up and then you can remove it by sliding it forward. Don't pry up on the rear or you can break the tab off. Unplug the three wire connectors/plugs. A small flat head will work with this.

Remove one 7mm screw behind the panel that you just removed, then remove the two 7mm screws on the very bottom of the door panel.

Now simply lift the door panel straight up and then outward, remove the last wire connector for the power mirrors & it's off.

I also replaced the outside door handle & lock assembly. It was very easy as well. just a 12mm socket, 1/4" drive ratchet & small flat head screw driver.
