Where is the door chime? I just want to remove it. My truck is a 2014 e350.

Just bought a 2010 f250 and I noticed that the warning chime works intermittently. I think this speaker or whatever it is also makes the turn signal noise because that sometimes is silent also. Where this thing is?

On a 2011 RX450h, is it possible to disable the door chime when the drivers door is opened but the car is in accessory mode (i.e. not running)?
Since I just got the RX I've been playing a lot with the settings and audio presets. With the drivers door open the chime just continues forever and I cannot find any option to turn off the chime when in accessory mode.
Elantra MD (2010-15) :: Driver Door Ajar Chime Started To Go Off
I just bought an Elantra Limited 2015, have 3 days with the car, it is fantastic but when i put 144km on it, the driver door ajar chime started to go off (8 ding dings) every time i open the car from the outside or inside and only when the switch is set to OFF. it does not happen in ACC or RUN, i thought it might be the lights left on alarm but it happens in whatever headlight switch position so it has nothing to do with the lights and it only happens with the driver door. is this design intent?.. Why it didn't happen before?..

Just started having issues with my door chimes this morning.
Hopped in, started up, and now the door chime will not go until I take the key out of ignition. All doors are shut, seatbelt fastened. No lights on dash, no open doors.
Camry :: 1994 - Chime Start And Does Not Go Off When Door Opens
I am new to Toyotas and recently inherited a 94 Camry. When the door opens a chime starts and does not go off until the door is shut. Looking at a wiring diagram it appears that only the courtesy light operates off the door switch.

I stored my Camry over the winter, and it didn't do this before being stored.
Whenever I drive the car, park, remove the key, then open the door, it makes a single "ding" sound then stops. This has happened every time that I can remember.
Is this a warning sound for something? The tires are all filled, the bulbs are all fine... Very confused. The headlights have been in the "Auto" and "DRL Off" positions with no change in the chime, I think.
Elantra XD (2001-06) :: Door Chime And Light Won't Turn Off
When my 2001 Elantra is started, the door chime remains on and the red "door open" indicator remains lit on the dashboard. The chiming continues throughout my entire drive.
While the engine is running I am not able to lock the doors. When the engine is not running, I can lock the doors, but the inside red light on the door, on the driver's side only, stays lit.
I have checked all the fuses, do you know what I can do to either fix it or disable the chiming so I can drive more peacefully?
Tiguan :: 2013 - Extra Door Chime Noise While Getting Out?
So I drove my wife's 2013 Tig SE (FWD) yesterday and heard a weird (extra) door chime noise when I got out of the car....just doesn't sound right.
And my 2013 Tig S obviously doesn't do it.
Planned on taking it to the dealer.
Ford F-150 (2004-2008) :: Disable Door Chime?
How do I disable the chime (2008 F150) that sounds when the key is in the ignition and the door is open? I'd like to keep the chime that sounds when the lights are left on and the door is open. Is it possible to accomplish both objectives?
And, on the off chance that someone from Ford ever looks at these forums: It would sure be nice if you designed the audible warnings with either a timer in the circuit (so it would sound for a few seconds and then stop); or, provide a cancel button for the chime (as is common in commercial and military aircraft).

Ok I have an 09 Camry and the door chime is driving us nuts when we unbuckle our seat belt. My husband says it chimes 45x!! How can we disconnect it...tried something I saw online and it was a no go for an 09. My mechanic thinks he is going to have to cut the wire or something-he thinks disconnecting fuse will disconnect other stuff.

The door chime, yes the door chime. I have searched fairly extensively using the search tool, on a way to stop the chime when the door is open. I could care less about it chiming when you put the key in the ignition or when your seatbelt is unbuckled (because I always wear my seatbelt you seatbelt Nazis). I am curious if that little switch that is pressed when the door is closed, that stops the chiming, controls anything other than the door, the headlights and the interior lights. I don't care if the lights don't come on inside the car when I open the door.
I was considering taking the switch out and grounding the sensor so the car thinks the door is always shut. I am regularly cleaning out my car because my children think its a trash can, and I like to listen to the radio when I do so. I like to have all the doors open when I'm sitting in the car scrubbing only god knows what off of every surface of my car, so I can get a nice breeze to keep me cool. Don't tell me to "roll down your stupid windows" or "just close the driver door", I don't want too; enough said.
Elantra HD (2006-10) :: Door Chime Won't Turn Off / Doors Not Locking
Car is a 2007 elantra, auto trans. this car is not on hand and is not my car - i will be able to do some testing when i get the chance at some point.
this is an intermittent problem which makes diagnosis difficult. when the car is turned off, sometimes the doors will not lock and the door chime keeps going - if the doors are open or not.
Suspected that a pin switch in the ignition might be sticking (had this with my old accent) so some graphite lubricant was used to try and loosen it up. idea is that it might think the key is still in the ignition. didn't seem to do much.
What I recently found out was that it seems the car needs to be started again and then shut down to reset this fault. what i'm suspecting now after going over the wiring schematics is that the body control module (BCM) may be faulty - such as a relay sticking inside it. appears that the door chime is integrated into this part making testing even more fun.
The difficult part of this is that not only is this car on on hand to do some testing, but i have almost no information on the logic input/output of the BCM...so even bench testing might not be possible.
Accent LC (2000-05) :: Door Chime / Interior Lights Not Working
I have a 2003 accent and i no longer have interior lights or a door chime working..
I did have a electrician friend change out my hatch last week and pretty sure he shorted out the fuse. I can't seem to see what fuse it would be all seem good
From me checking around i am lead to belive the it could be (shunt connector, memory fuse, power connector, joint connector m31) multiple names for the same thing.
How would i check this? How is it removed?
Lexus LS 2007+ :: Disable Warning Chime When Open The Door To Get Out?
Everytime I open the door to get out of my 08 LS460 the warning bell rings incessantly.
The only thing I can think of is that I'm usually in a parking garage and the lights are on due to the auto-feature on the lights. But, I think sometimes it rings even though the lights aren't on.
Sometimes you open the door but don't jump right out of the car. Is there anyway to disable this ringing bell?
