GTI 337/20th Anniversary :: Boost Gauge Not Working Properly?
I've had this problem a while but now i want to get around to fixing it.. my boost gauge is always at 0 now and sometimes when i drive the car it starts working but it starts like sticking... like when i didn't have my chip it would go up and down really fast between 10 - 15psi... i heard from a friend that you can take it apart and re-adjust some screws or something so it works like a charm... right now its just like frozen at 0 psi when i drive it doesnt go down or up.

My radio does not work kinda... when i turn the car on it works for a minute just fine, then the volume goes off and i cant put it up or down, but i can use and other function cd/casset fm, change stations and all that i just cant use the volume, or hear anything if i turn the radio off and then back on it works for like 5 sec then same thing happens.... I know sounds like fuses, but why does it work then shuts off?

So your clutch pedal operates properly, the clutch engages with no issues, but this annoying squeak, snap, crackle, and pop noise keeps coming from the clutch pedal within the cabin.
Could it be your clutch master cylinder? CMC is not leaking in the engine bay and the driver footwell. Not the CMC.
Could it be your clutch switch that's used to control revs and cruise control? Removed it and clutch pedal still made noises when pressing and releasing the pedal. Not the CS.
Could it be the over-center spring that sits behind the clutch pedal assembly? How could it be? It's just a spring. Springs that compress in that orientation don't make snap, crackle, and pop noises.
What most people fail to realize is the noise is coming from the pedal assembly, but it's not the pedal structure or the pedal. It's the pivot point where it mates with the clutch pedal mounting bracket. At the pivot point are two bushings (one on each side of the pedal structure) that wears out over time creating these noises.
Please look up the part number for these bushings. They look like the following at this link but these are aftermarket upgrades for BMW's.[URL] ....

2002 Honda Accord V6 230,000+ miles----The engine is good (well good for having been driven over 230,00miles) a/c is cold, interior is good, exterior is good. Transmission, not so good. my 20th feels a bit off when im shifting. First to second can feel very rough (just not smooth at all but it does shift easily but takes more effort for a smooth shift. second to third is also a bit off but not as much. all other gears shift normal and smooth.

I was driving home and noticed that it seemed harder to shove the gear shift into 1st gear. I stopped on the way home and discovered that I couldn't put the car into reverse, when I tried, and then started to drop the clutch and go in reverse, it was as if the car was locked into both reverse and a forward gear, the engine would bog and the car wouldn't budge.
I popped the hood and checked the shift rods and they looked OK, no obstructions or broken parts. I played with the gears for a bit and finally reverse gear suddenly started working again, but now 1st and 2nd gear are gone! it does not feel as if it's engaging the gears at all, the lever moves free. No different than having it in neutral. 3rd gear and above all still work OK, so I had to use 3rd gear to get the car moving.
Grand AM :: Transmission Not Shifting Properly - Speed Odometer Not Working
Grand am is a 4cly 4speed trans. My daughter is off to school. She called and told me her speed odometer is not working. She also mentioned that it is not shifting properly if at all. Is the speed odometer operated by cable? Would the two be related to the transmission going bad?

One day i was driving my pedal went flat to the floor ,then i noticed my brake fluid was low so then i tried adding more fluid and bleeding it n pumping the clutch i got pressure back, but now i hear chatter in the tranny and it wasn't doing that till after I bleed it. It will go into gear with the car off but as soon as the car starts in wont at all.

Well, driving down the road just like any other day. I go from 1st to 2nd gear. It feels like I missed a shift, no big deal decide to put it in 3rd. Missed 3rd gear...... weird, no big deal through it in 4th and was on my way. Got to a red light, no 1st or 2nd gear. Where 1st and 2nd gear are, it feels like there is nothing there when i tried to shift into gear. If I go into 3rd gear its now 1st gear, 4th gear is 2nd gear.Had a mechanic look at my car, and the linkage and clutch are fine. He feels that something minor broke inside the transmission.
A) What do you think might be broken?
B) How could this happen?
Driving my car like a baby, I am never hard on my clutch. No pre-warning, no bad sounds, and I have never had an issue with my transmission before. I am hoping I do not have to pull my transmission out but it looks like I may not have a choice...
GTI 337/20th Anniversary :: Coolant Leak Onto Transmission
I've never had a leak before in my anniversary and now all of a sudden I have a coolant leak. Once I start the car and run it for a short time and shut it off I lose a few ounces of coolant. I inspected under the hood and the coolant seems to be leaking onto my tranny. I am unsure where exactly it is coming from.

So the car will only start to raise in temp over the mid (which is about 190f not sure exactly) when the car is at a stoplight for a good amount of time or the car is at idol, really whenever the car has no air being sucked in through the front it really only goes over temp slightly at a stop because the fans are not cooling it
Also it has been 80 degrees plus here for awhile. It never over heats entirely but I am looking for possibly causes here is a list below of what I think it could be :
Fuses
Fan relay
Thermostat
Or fan control module

I am getting really irritated with my ac control lights not working. my friend with a gti has the same issue. but we have both changed out the whole piece from a working car and still no lights. i checked my fuses and nothing blown missing 2 fuses (pic card shows KEYS) my lights have been out for over 2 years. some days I don't care but now its really on my last nerve. The horn doesn't work, but when I lock the car I get the "honk" from the factory alarm...
Long story short...car got broken into, radio stolen, n00b-dumbass radio installer from the insurance company was fuddeling around with the fuse box to power the radio via a 12v source (again...long story). His hands were also behind the kick panel below the steering wheel to run some wires. I only noticed the horn not working a few days after this guy worked on my car. Coincidence?
Is there a fuse / relay that goes bad with our horns?
Accent LC (2000-05) :: 2002 - Manual Transmission Not Working Properly - Loose?
my 2002 Hyundai accent with 1.6 engine and the manual transmission has a problem in that where the axle shaft goes into the transmission is very loose. the problem is in the transmission, not the axel. Is there a bearing in the transmission for this. Or is there something else that could do it.
