GTI 337/20th Anniversary :: How To Remove The Center Console
I cannot get the back cup holder section out. It seems like it's held on there good. I removed the little coin tray and don't see anything and took out the sliding cup holder as well. What am I doing wrong?

I was driving today and when attempting to go to fifth gear and sixth gear the shifter went completely loose, but if I returned it to neutral and go back to 1st through 4th I regain feeling of the shifter. So yesterday i was driving fine and all of the sudden the car started jolting like it was going to stall and the check engine light came on. I pulled over popped the hood to see if there was anything i could see and got back in and took off no problem and the light went off. I starting pushing it and accelerating it to see if it would come back on and it didnt. Today it started doing the same thing but this time the light stays on and every time i change gears it does that jolting like its going to stall.
Its a 2004 gli 6 speed gli 1.8t ....
GTI 337/20th Anniversary :: 2004.5 GLI Overheating / Temp Steadily Rising While Idling At A Red Light
I just drove the GLI from pa to myrtle beach for vacation. On the way back I noticed the temp was steadily rising while idling at a red light then at a gas station. Coolant level is fine. Thermostat, water pump, thermostat, and both temp sensors were recently replaced in the last two months.
So I know none of those things are a variable. Both fans never come on. I tried turning on the ac to get them to come on. But nothing. I read as much as I could on forums to find a solution but none applied to my specific problem.
Car is completely stock besides p flow intake. Has 153000 miles I'm pretty sure everything involving fan is original.
GTI 337/20th Anniversary :: 2004 - No Reverse Light / Lever Inside Doesn't Reach Connector From Switch?
My reverse lights are out on my GLI 2004, i bought a new reverse light switch thinking that would fix it but no.......
I then checked for power in line and by jumping it and the light go on
So Switch is goodLine as power
But as soon as it's intalled no go, light out.... it seem's like the lever inside doesn't reach the connector from the switch.

So I bought my 20th with the airbag light on... Never really bothered me till now as I'm tying to fix everything that's wrong with it. I vagcom'd it and it said driver side seat buckle was the fault. Looked under the seat and it seems the white plug isn't plugged in. I haven't taken anything apart yet to get a closer look, but could that be the problem? Does that plug actually plug into something or is it just a loose plug?

Recently I installed my NewSouthPerformance boost gauge that sits on the steering column and a couple weeks later i noticed my horn stopped working. I didnt cut any wires so i know it couldnt be that. I pulled the fuse out and put it back in, now it works but sounds like a old man with extreme lung problems. I took my car for a drive and i soon as I pull out of the driveway the abs light and traction light appeared on the cluster. I tried to reset the battery but no luck. I tried to search but for some reason the search is down. What could be wrong with the car? It still drives and seems fine but abs and traction doesn't work.

I have had this ongoing issue with the rear running lights on my 337; the lights just don't turn on all the time. At first I thought the bulbs were burning out but they aren't. I can just knock on the tail lights and the lights come on and stay on. I assume that it's not a short or bad contact or they would flicker.

I have a problem with my vw jetta vr6, the airbag light is always on. I changed the battery and few days later the airbag light came on. I drove my car to the dealer and they found out that my driver airbag unit has a lot of pressure on it, so they told me that the airbag needs to be replaced.

I have a 20th AE. My traction control light went on and stayed on while I was driving and now it won't go away. I hit the switch to try to turn traction control on, but the light still on and traction control is still inoperative.
